It was four years back
When no one knew this boy
The pen which he now holds
Had never been his toy

He wrote many exams
Learned a lot of theories
But never in his dreams
Had he thought of writing stories

Though he loved reading a lot
Get lost in that book
Which took him to magical lands
And left him on a hook

From THE SONG OF ICE AND FIRE
To those LORIEN LEGACIES
He loved 'Robert Langdon'
And 'Sherlock' with his mysteries

Slowly along the way
He met 'Percy Jackson'
Whose life was magic and fantasy
And always filled with action

After reading its first series
He was stuck on THE HOUSE OF OLYMPUS
It was that last book in the series
Which made all the fuss

It was not published yet
But the boy didn't knew that
So he made every effort
To search it over the net

He found the title there
The link pointed to wattpad
But only half a story was published
Which made the boy mad

How could it even happen
It isn't possible at all
Deleting the app away
His heart took a fall

It was just a fanfiction
Written by some random person
That made him hate the genre
That became the sole reason

That was his first brush with the app
A not so pleasant start
It was just another bad memory
In this life's cart

But little did he knew
It was going to change from there
His dreams and his desire
Were going to change from there

That was the moment
The moment that turned it all
And shaped the boy you know
Who learned to rise from the fall

The gift I had to give.

Well, this is it.

I didn't know if it's a gift or not, but it's definitely something special.
It's the journey of me through this world of wattpad.
