.39. (Un)felt Emotions
When the sun hit the horizon
When the stars started to show
She took her usual place
To let the words flow
Beneath the mango tree
She unleashed her tiny weapon
Spilling the blue on white
She penned another poem
Since the last three months
She sat here everyday
Breaking her minds chain
Let her words have a say
They spoke to her of friendship
They took her to some fantasy
Those tiny little poems
Were her ultimate ecstasy
Today her pen said, love
Her heart drove it to that
Shattered into pieces
It was sprawled on the mat
Hurt was obviously there
It transferred to her poem
Could her readers feel
That emotion through her poem?
What would they think of her
What thoughts it'd unfurl
Sharing her problems with the world
Was she an emotional girl?
It quickly left her mind
The thought of being a fool
Her poems were not a joke
They were a powerful tool
Tool to express herself
To bring those thoughts on paper
To spill all the emotions
Not bother about the readers
If only they had known
What it feels to lose your beloved
To watch it with your eyes
Those souls getting traded
Her pen fell to ground
Tears left her eyes
As the scenes started to recall
Of all those last goodbyes
She was sure in her mind
No one could ever feel
What emotions went through
They bear her own seal
Above the tree smiled
At this innocent little human
Who thought it was only her
Who knew all those emotions
In the season of fall
Tree feels it everyday
When it's leaves abandon the branch
And find the earth's way
The leaves that it grew
The leaves that it nurtured
Finally, leave their home
To embrace a new culture
Yes, it feels bad
To be abandoned like that
But that's the way of life
To grow you've to shed
To grow you've to shed...
