Theories after theories
They went on to make
Never worried about the burdens
We students would take

One was inspired by Apple
Other by this earth round
While the rest all celebrated
For the radiations, they had found

But it wasn't that easy
For all of them to leave
Coz life had planned a surprise
For them to give

Making all those discoveries
They thought they'd die in peace
But they were reborn again a child
When this world was such a tease

They couldn't find the wavelengths
They couldn't calculate those G's
When their parents toiled and tried
To pay their school fees

They may have made those theories
They may have been top of world
But today they were trapped
Trapped like that bird

Trapped in the cage of marks
Trapped in the cage of degrees
Because that's the most important
Not those long lost theories

Those forgotten long lost theories...
