Blade stops running once he's off of school grounds.

'You sound like you're hurt, what happened?' he says.

'I just hurt a guy in my class, that's all.' the voice replies.

'Alpha! Emert knows!' Zalia's voice rings through Blade's mind.

'How did he find out?' he asks.

'Ryan had to rat you out. He said it was the wisest decision he could think of. He also said something about us getting our real alpha soon.' Zalia explains.

'What did he say, exactly?' Blade asks her.

'Something about Joshua's successor would defeat Emert and restore Bloodcrest as its rightful Alpha. Ryan then said his successor would be a cursed werewolf with a heart as pure as gold.' Zalia says.

Blade doesn't respond, instead he starts formulating a plan to help that pack.

'I just need to hear your voice. I feel so guilty.' he then hears the voice tell him.

'How are we going to do that? Ask 50 questions?' he jokes.

'Haha. That brightens my day. Thank you for that.' the voice says.

He runs home with a sudden plan in his head and slams the front door. His parents look at each other with worried expressions as Blade bolts down the stairs with a case in his arms.

He sets it down and opens it, sliding the dual swords into a sheath on his back. He places some daggers in their own sheath on his leg and right wrist.

'Zalia, tell Emert I'm coming for him.' he says.

'Yes, Alpha.' Zalia replies almost instantly.

"Where are you going?"Aaron asks him.

"Somewhere." Blade answers.

"Blade." Aphmau warns as Blade sighs.

"I'm going to help my pack. Don't follow me." he admits.

He then shifts into a jet black wolf and runs out of the house. As soon as he's gone, Aphmau turns to look at Aaron.

"His pack? I thought Travis said he had no pack." she asks.

"He obviously gained one then. But who is his pack?" Aaron responds.

(With Harper)

Harper sits on the steps of the school, doodling in her notebook. She hears someone sit next to her as she looks up with a confused expression. It's a raven haired girl that sits beside her.

"Hey. I'm Alina." she introduces herself to Harper.

"Harper. Nice to meet you." Harper says.

"You're the human in werewolf class." Alina comments. "Nice to know my brother and I aren't alone."

"Yeah." Harper mumbles.

Alina leans back a bit as the two girls sit in awkward silence. A black convertible pulls up as Alina blinks. Melissa waves to her with a pair of sunglasses resting on her head as her foot hits the horn.

"Who's that?" Harper says as she stifles a laugh.

Alina rolls her chocolate eyes. "My aunt. Max! Let's go!" she calls.

Max walks up to her and slaps his hand on his forehead at the mere sight of his mom being goofy.

"The time I wish I wasn't related to her." he mutters.

"Oh son and only niece I have from my brother of the same bloodline, hop in!" Melissa shouts.

Alina jumps in as does Max while she waves lightly to Harper. "Nice meeting you Harper!" she smiles.

The convertible rolls its wheels away as Harper stands up. She gets to her feet and starts walking home. As she walks for a while, she stops and looks around. Good. Nobody's watching. She shifts into her Phoenix form and shoots her body up into the blue sky.

She feels the freedom she gets when she flies and she loves it. She flies on home then shifting back to human as she flies into the house itself.

"Harper! Did anybody see you?" her mom asks.

She rolls her eyes. "No. I made sure nobody did." she replies.

Her mom smiles. "Good. Why don't you do your homework while I get dinner going." she says.

Harper nods. "Okay." the girl answers as she jogs up the stairs.

I wonder why Blade ran off. He can't be the one I've been talking too, is he? I never even got his name.

She opens her bedroom door, closing it behind her while she strolls towards the window seat. She sits there and stares out the window.

(With Blade)

Blade keeps running until he reaches the border of the next pack territory and Zuvia territory. He looks back once before he runs across the borderline. He's now in Black Forest territory.

He slows his running speed down to a mere trot. After a few minutes of padding forwards like this, Blade is pinned down by a female werewolf.

"Eva, let him up." someone says.

Another female from the scent.

"Yes, Alpha." the one werewolf that has Blade pinned replies.

She stands up and walks to stand beside the other female. He shakes himself off, freeing any dirt that lands on his body.

"What are you doing in my pack's territory?" she demands.

Blade raises a paw and gestures to behind her then takes a few steps forward.

"You want to pass through?" the alpha female asks.

He nods his wolf head.

"I'm sorry but how do I know you aren't some rogue wanting my territory?" she snaps.

'I'm a human just trying to help a pack and defeat Emert.' Blade says.

The Alpha female stares at him in shock. 'But you're not a human if you can communicate telepathically.' she retorts.

'Promise me you won't tell anyone.' Blade tells her as she gives him a look of hesitation.

'I'm an Alpha Werewolf trying to free Bloodcrest from Emert and his pack of rogues. Do I look like a rogue now?' he explains.

'You want to free Bloodcrest? Name one thing that's personal.' she says.

Blade thinks for a second. 'Ryan says Joshua's successor would be a cursed werewolf with a pure heart. Zalia told me that actually.' he says. 'Plus, I know Bloodcrest has been rogue territory for over three decades. It's about time they're free.'

'Okay. I believe you. Name's Aurora Brackner.' Aurora introduces herself.

"Let him pass. He's on a mission." Aurora commands.

Eva looks at her like she's grown two heads. "What?! But he could be a rogue!" she whines.

"He's not a rogue." Aurora says.

"What kind of a mission is he on, Alpha?" a new werewolf asks.

"He's going to free Bloodcrest." Aurora states then frowns. "Emert will kill you once you pass the borderline. Be very careful, okay?"

Blade nods.

"HE'S DOING WHAT?!" Eva and every werewolf shouts in unison.

"What's his name, anyways?" someone asks.

Aurora shrugs. "I would like to know as well." she smiles.

'Blade Lycan.' Blade tells her telepathically.

"Then I wish you luck, Blade." Aurora bows her head to him.

Blade brings his head down and bows to her out of respect then walks forward. Once he's almost halfway from them, he turns around and howls. He turns back around and runs through Black Forest, Aurora's territory.

"How good are his chances?" Eva asks her Alpha.

Aurora sighs. "I don't know. We can only hope Bloodcrest is freed." she whispers.

(A few minutes later)

Blade keeps running until he reaches the borderline of Black Forest and Bloodcrest. He steps over into Bloodcrest territory.

'Zalia? I'm here. Where are you?' he says.

'Alpha? Geez. Hey! No targeting him!' Zalia shouts. 'Ahem, sorry. We're currently being tortured until our leader comes.'

'Just tell me where you are. It's not like I know the territory off the back of my hand.' Blade comments.
