(On a foreign country far away from the grasp of technology and science, 3 evil presences gathered in a ruin. They left a path of dead whenever they walked. They stand, watching at each other. One of them, a woman begins to talk.)

Woman: Brothers! How many centuries has passed since we reunited like this?

Beastman: Silence Katharina! Your voice always gives me headaches!

Katharina: Cornelo, it is good to see you again. And you, Zobek?

Zobek: Distasteful as always. I rather end you 2 right now. Where is Dracul?

Katharina: He sleeps for now, since his time is not yet.

Zobek: What is the reason for our "happy reunion"?

Katharina: A Deadman lives...

(Tension raises in them.)

Cornello: Are you sure about this?!

Zobek: You must be sure if you gather us like this in a rush.

Katharina: You know we loath each other. I will not call for you otherwise.

(They all have sharp looks.)

Cornello: Do you know where that person is? I shall personally take care of it.

Katharina: No at the moment. But I am sure you all felt...

Zobek: The curse...

(A mark appears on their bodies.)

Katharina: But it shall not matter to us. We have eradicated them various times.

Cornello: I have lost count.

(He laughs.)

Katharina: Last I heard, Miranda took care of him.

Zobek: Miranda...

(He hissed.)

Cornello: That witch!

Katharina: But don't worry, we will take care of him. His name...Joss McCain.

(The woman shows an image of Joss using blood. The three grinned with malice.)

(Joss awakens. His bed, small. As routine for as long as he remembers: he looks at his hands. He closes both. He walks to the showers and takes a bath. Once out, he takes his time to shave off his beard. He trims it completely and stares at the reflection of the man he is about to leave in this island, and the man who shall return to Rhindelm. He tidies up the room, grabs his belongings and exits the house. Outside, Vita and Isabella await for him. They have hateful expressions but neither of them talked. Upon seeing him, they feel overjoyed.

Isabella: How do you feel?

Joss: It has been...strange. Almost a month and a half passed while I was here.

(He stares at the blue sky.)

Joss: It must be August by now on Earth.

Vita: August?

Joss: Yeah, the name of the month. Is everyone ready?

Isabella: Arya is with Bulwark. You know, the love birds.

(He shares a smile.)

Joss: Better wake them up.

(Joss' residency was far on the outside of Edomont. They walk slowly, watching as the people rebuild the once proud city. The townspeople bowed their heads and gave compliments as they passed by. Some gave them gifts: fruit, small armor parts, tokens of gratitude. They take them all and walk towards a house. They await outside. On the inside, Arya awakens. To his side, Bulwark rests. She stretches his arm and walks close to the window. Her body, shaped to the image of a goddess, shows the battles she has survived. Her hair changed, white forever.)

(Bulwark sneaks up behind her and hugs tightly)

Bulwark: Hey beautiful, why out of bed so early? Had a great night sleep?

Arya: Doofus, remember, we must attend the meeting they requested. The higher ups want to discuss several things.

(Outside, they hear the voice of Isabella and Co. Calling for them.)

Arya: We are late. I'm gonna shower and dress quickly.

(She walks out of the room and into the bathroom.)

(He laughs and makes his way. Showers, dressed. He places on the armband and waits for her downstairs with a fruit drink.)

(She takes a shower and touches her body. She doesn't recognize it. Once out she stares at the reflection of what she sees in the mirror. Memories of her past comes to her mind and she bits her lower lip. She knows what must be done. She come outside of the bathroom and dresses herself: her usual armor, the first one she wore when she met the persons she will see soon. Once finished, the huntress comes out to where her lover is.)

Arya: I am ready.

(Both come outside and reunite with what now seems like a family

(Bulwark hugs Joss)

Bulwark: Are you ready? What are your plans for now?

(In Bulwark's mind)

Berial: What about you Bukwark? What are you going to do? Krom is still alive and now you're with someone whom probably will hold you back...

(Bulwark on the outside is smiling but inside, he is frozen by Berial's remark)

Bulwark's mind: Let's see how things go... He doesn't have power here anymore.

Berial: What makes you think he won't hunt you down again. He will come back... And the next time, stronger. He knows about me now. Your surprise attack is nullified, Kiddo.

Bulwark mind: I ... I ...

Berial: It's happiness with her... Or her impending doom... Your choice... I'll be waiting.

Joss: Well I---

(They are interrupted by S who has a metallic arm.)

S: Where have you been?! We are waiting for you, heroes of Monster Island!

(She greets them and guides them to the throne room. On their way, they are greeted by villagers too. Hunters bow before them. They climb the long stairs until they stand in front of a huge door. The guards open them and inside were the Chiefs of each village. They all bow before them.)

GM: We are all in your debts, heroes.

Cathe Chief: You were able to repel not only the threat of the monsters, but also the ones coming from Moderno.

Yukumo twins: Also, you saved the lives of those who you didn't even knew.

Drashea chief: And at the same time, saved the ones that aren't human.

GM: We are all in gratitude towards you.

(They bowed their heads again.)

Cathe Chief: But now, we must establish a new set of commands, and a ruler. And we have taken the liberty of choosing the next person who will guide us to the next step of our evolution. And that person, is you, GM.

(The leaders turn to her.)

GM: W-W-What?!

Drashea Chief: You took the rends of command when the Gogneros attacked.

Cathe Chief: Also, you were impartial in the decision of using foreign power.

Yukumo twins: We acknowledge this, and thus, we have decided that we will follow you, as our King.

GM: But...but...but...

Isabella: Wow, from a small headache to a huge pain in the ass! Congratulations GM, or I should say, King!

Arya: Congratulations!

Bulwark: Congrats King.

(Bulwark bows and a reddish shadow of a huge beast Berial emerges from behind Bukwark, bows as well)

Berial: Your Highness

(GM is flustered. They show her seat and acknowledge her as their new ruler. They bust in celebration.)

Cathe Chief: But this doesn't end here. Since the GM is the new King, who will be the chief of Ardmery?

Drashea Chief: We need someone strong, yet kind.

Yukumo Twins: Someone wise and accessible.

Cathe Chief: Someone who knows the ropes and guide the beginners to a righteous path. For that, we nominate you, Isabella.

Isabella: WHAT?!

Cathe Chief: You have shown this and more skills, guiding everyone on the attack with Gogneros. You fit the role of the new GM of Ardmery.

(Joss and Arya begin to laugh.)

Joss: Come on, GM Isabella.

Arya: Chiiiieeeef!

Isabella: But...I am young!

GM: A pain in my ass. But you'll do good.

Isabella: Well...I guess...

Cathe Chief: Well, that settles it! The new King and the Ardmery Chief has been elected! Let's celebrate this until tomorrow!!!

(Trumpets and cheers were heard outside and everyone celebrated.)

(The town is decorated. Stalls everywhere and people are dancing. Music could be heard everywhere. Joss permitted himself to have a little joy. He danced with the girls. GM went drinking with the Chiefs. Arya could be found hugging and snuggling with nearby cats. They enjoyed the day to its fullest and the night came. Joss goes outside of the city and sits on the green grass. He contemplates his surroundings. The sound of the wind, the chirp of the insects, the roar of the beast far away. He feels at peace.)

Joss (mind): Could I really leave this place?

Isabella: Having a tough night?

(Isabella comes and stares at him.)

Joss: Just wondering how your life will be, GM.

Isabella: Cut the crap.

(She softly kicks him.)

Joss: Hey, that hurts!

Isabella: Yeah sure.

...

(Bulwark uncloaks himself, who was sitting in front of them waiting for Arya to sneak up)

Bulwark: We've just been waiting for you guys to make up already and make out. Arya and I can't be the only ones in love! You guys had a thing going on...

(He cloaks again and sneaks behind Arya and uncloaks hugging her from behind and kisses her cheek in a cute way)

Bulwark: You two gave me a reason to love again. So, don't screw it up.

(Joss' face sadden up.)

Isabella: You can stay here, with me. I can't promise you that you won't have any problems, but at least you'll have me, and together, we can face it.

Joss: I am sorry, Isabella. I was thinking the same, about staying...

(Her face light up.)

Joss: But I can't simply do it.

(Arya grasp firmly the hand of Bulwark.)

Joss: My past...it will haunt me 'til the day I die, and I wouldn't like to put you in harm's way. Besides, I don't even belong in this world! I come from a distant place, a different planet and I wish to return. That is my main goal. Sure, staying here sounds magnificent, but it will be a lie...a beautiful lie. I must go...I will go...Tomorrow, I will return to Rhindelm. I have other friends and I worry for them, the same I worry for you.

(He grabs her hand. Tears come from her eyes.)

Joss: That is why I wanted to spend this last day in this Island, the best way possible. And also, you are a GM. I am really happy about it. You will begin to teach the newbies. Just please, don't be as harsh as you were with me.

(Both laughed.)

Isabella: Just...promise me you will return.

Joss: I will. Even if---

(She stops Joss with her finger.)

Isabella: That is all I wanted to hear.

(She smiles although the tears continued.)

GM: There you are! I have been searching for all of you!

(The GM comes from behind them. She is garbed in majestic clothes. Behind her, 2 tall guards stand.)

GM: I have something for all of you. Come, quick!

(Bulwark saddens and gives him a pat on his back)

Bulwark: We're going to miss you brother.

(He follows the GM)

(She guides them to a small house and inside stands Nydia and something covered in cloth.)

GM: All the blacksmiths gathered and wanted to give you something, and here it is.

(She unravels it, and a black armor stands in front.)

Nydia: This magnificent armor was made using the entire Gogneros. It took a week but here it is.

GM: It is a costume that when you form a party; they make the first armor, and each person wears a part of it. I know it is late, but this is your armor. Choose any part and wear it knowing that your teammates also wear part of the same armor.

(Bulwark grabs the right shoulder plate and the suit connects to it and makes a full arm piece)

Bulwark: With honor.

Arya: If it's not a problem, I will take the lower part.

Isabella: I will take both arms. It will help me with the shooting of arrows.

Joss: Well, I will take the helmet and the chest plate for Bahamut, if it is not a problem.

Isabella: It would do him good.

Arya: Yes.

GM: Well, that is the gift of the island for you, our heroes!

(They gaze upon each part of their armor.

Nydia: Now, no matter how far you are, nothing will tear your partnership and bonds apart.

GM: Now, let us celebrate!

(They put on their new set and went to have a good dance. Arya danced with Bulwark, Vita sat, watching everyone and Joss danced with Isabella. He smiles as she dances with him. He opens and closes his eyes, and everyone turns into something loathable. People turned into skeletons, trees began to decompose, and everything looked grim. From the corner of his eyes, he sees the dark figure.)

Amell: This is what your future will look like: Death, corpses and rot everywhere. You are my liege; my kin and we are going to complete what I started. Your life, Joss McCain, belongs now to me.

(For an instant, his expression changes to a somber one. The night came and Joss went flying with Bahamut, Vita and Isabella went to their houses and Arya went with Bulwark. Upon entering in Bulwark's house, a voice is heard.)

Beckett: Long time no see champ.

(Beckett is in a wheelchair, accompanied by his pet Skadi.)

(Bulwark gets startled by the surprise but recognizes him)

Bulwark: Holy shit... It's actually you kid. How you doing?

(He smiles and goes to give him a handshake.)

Bulwark: You saved us ya know.

(He moves the wheelchair towards him.)

Bulwark: It was fucking hard trying to find you, but I did it at last.

(He grins and explains his idea. Night passed and at dawn Joss is preparing his things at the bay. Isabella followed him. Vita is with him.)

Isabella: You are going...

Joss: Yes. I must.

Isabella: I...I...

(He leans forward and kisses his forehead.)

Joss: I promise I will return.

(After having the talk with Beckett, Bulwark goes in private with Arya.)

Bulwark: ... I don't know if I should leave... I want to stay here with you. We just started and all is going so smoothly.... I don't want to leave you alone. It's either I rest and stay here with you or ... We'll have to handle with the distance ... I won't leave you in anyway.

Arya: I think...we should leave...both of us. I sure love Monster Island, but I want to know from where I came, why I am like this and what I can do with my...my condition. And the only way of doing this is by going out and explore the world.

Bulwark: If you're sure about it, hun. Berial won't stop barking at my mind about doing what needs to be done... I wouldn't go if you won't.

(He grabs her hands and brushes her hair)

Bulwark: Are you sure? I've been out there before. It's really big.

(He smiles)

Arya: I am perfectly sure.

(She caresses his face.)

Arya: We must go and say farewell to Joss and his companion and to Isabella too.

(He nods and heads towards the rest of the team)

Bulwark: Alright Berial... You're getting what you wanted. But first I need to have my life with her and keep that in a balance. Got it?

Berial: Haha ... Sure sure.

(Both walked and met Joss as he was ready to depart.)

Arya: Joss!

(He turns.)

Arya: I...You will always be Jaeger for me. (She chuckles.) Thank you, for everything.

(He hugs her tightly.)

Joss: Thank you for accepting me for who I was.

(She cries.)

Joss: We will always be together.

(He touches his armor.)

Joss: Always connected.

(He looks at Bulwark.)

Joss: You too, Bro.

(He extends his fist.)

(Bulwark pounds his fist and hugs him)

Bulwark: Always by your side brother. Take care alright, don't kill too much without us now haha. Safe travels

(He hugs him tightly and then let go. He says his farewell and climbs Bahamut and together with Vita, he flies away. Some distant away, he turns his head, and a tear could be seen in his face.)

Joss: So long, my friends.

(He continues onward, towards the Capital. On the island, near Bulwark, a metallic door appears. Beckett comes through it.)

Beckett: Ready for your new journey?

(Isabella looks at Arya.)

Isabella: It is time.

Arya: Yes...

Isabella: I always knew you would leave...

(Both girls hug with force and begin to cry.)

Isabella: I will miss you, dear sister!

Arya: I will miss you!

Bulwark: So long GM, may Oamni grant you great fortune ... And still kick some ass girl

(He winks at her and hugs her)

Bulwark: Let's go kid.

(Isabella hugs Bulwark tightly and then let them go. Both fellows go and enter the metallic door, leaving Monster Island and Isabella forever.)

Isabella: Well, let us start our new job. She walks melancholic towards her new duty.

BACK AT DR. KROM LAB

(All of the scientists and students are huddled up together chatting while the whole lab is in a standby for the first time in decades. Krom is at his desk, thinking.)

Krom: He failed... His calculations were... Off by decibels... Time frames were ... Altered... And now, Bulwark has opened his full potential. The seal is broken, and he has the resources to destroy us all.

(After a few minutes)

Krom: BACK TO WORK!! Operation Olimpia is in action!! Prepare for the arrival.

Scientist: ...what about module last hope?

Krom: I will make sure of it when the time comes. At that time all of you must leave at once.

(They all nod and proceed their work. Krom holds up a blue vial with a gaseous substance inside)

Krom: You are my greatest creation.

(Jekyll and Hyde are in their repair stations behind Krom, they heard what he said and close their fist and their eyes led turn red from jealousy.)

(Joss finds himself flying on top of Bahamut, who roars as the soar through the sky. He turns and watches a Vita hugs him tightly with her eyes closed. He faces forward and watches in the horizon as the sun starts to rise slowly. In his mind there is but only one thing. Without knowing, fate has begun moving and Oamni has set his treacherous path filled with dead and blood. On his body, the curse manifests itself without him knowing. In his eyes, the symbol of the Deadman.)
