Arabella: (Arrives with Ancano to the Square where the Guard gave the announcement.) "Wow! Ancano, I cannot await to see such an intriguing custom. It sounds like such an exhilarating and adrenaline pumping event to lay witness too. Is it prudent to be around when all the Lancers arrive though?"

Ancano: "Do not worry, my dearest. It won't be a problem unless you intrude on their mission and they sense within you a threat. If you want to ask them any questions it won't be any problem whatsoever. Just remember to be polite like you always are, and to not phrase your questions as orders. That will more than likely make them hostile and it would most certainly end in your untimely end."

Arabella: "Well that is most certainly something to keep in mind. Thank you, sir. Would you mind if I summoned Lucy so that she may tag along on our ventures outside the University?"

Ancano: "Of course my dear, Lucy is a much a part off you as your magika is. She is one of your most integral parts."

Arabella: "Alright, thank you for your acceptance. Now..."

(Arabella calls for Lucy through their soul bond and asks if she would like to come along on their expedition through the Capitol for Arabella's uniform and school supplies.)

(Joss ran through the market in hurry for Arabella. His hands were drenched in blood. He ran until he spots Lucy and sprints towards her. He finally founds Arabella.)

Joss: ARABELLA! QUICK! I NEED YOUR HELP!!!

Arabella: "What do you want now Joss? I'm really occupied with other things right now." (She says while not looking at Joss.)

Joss: I need your help with this guy!

(He gently puts Cerberus in the floor and takes out his shirt and accommodates it under the head of Cerberus.)

Arabella: (She finally turns around and sees the bleeding dog on the ground.) "OH MY GOD! What happened?! And don't move him! You will only make the injuries worse!"

Arabella: (She runs towards the dog and lightly pushes Joss out of the way to check on the animal.) "Okay, looks like multiple lacerations, internal bleeding and hemorrhage may be possible but without further analysis I won't be able to find out. Ancano, sir! Please transport all of my things to my laboratory. I will be there with him."

(She then does the spell casting to summon her fastest creature.)

"Oh lord, hear thy plead.

I need thy blessed guidance.

Pleading here is thy humble servant of thy thirteen guardians.

Unlock, gate seven of the almighty guardians, gate of the Dragon Lord!"

(Then a seven-tiered summoning circle, surround Arabella and she takes off with the dog in her arms on the Dragons back towards the University.)

Ancano: (Watches Arabella take off and smiles to himself.) "Well off to bug the things she will need. I hope I brought enough with me." (Then goes on his way while whistling a happy tune.)

(Joss stands and follows Ancano)

Joss: Hey hey! Where is she taking my friend?

Ancano: (Shakes his head to try to soothe his ringing ears.) "She is taking your friend to the only place that will know how to treat him. The Capitals University. I would suggest you go there and ask at the reception for Apprentice Realm Mage Arabella, and please; be mindful of your voice and the attitude. Not many of us are as tolerant to attitudes such as yours." Oh and Joss. Don't worry too much about your friend. In better hands he cannot be. Arabella is our resident beast caretaker.

Joss: Where the hell is the university?!

(Wendy appears in his shoulder)

Wendy: M-master Joss, sorry to interrupt you. You can track your partners by sensing their aura by the pact you made. Just close your eyes and feel Cerberus' life force.

(He closes his eyes and begins to focus.)

Joss: Gotcha! I'm coming Cer!

(Joss rushes to the university. After a moment he finds the structure and asked the reception for Arabella)

Receptionist: "Who exactly is asking for Lady Arabella? She is a very busy person. She is in the middle of a very delicate procedure at the moment, so I'll gladly take a message."

Joss: I'm her friend and partner of the creature she is attending. I really need to be there for him. He's more than a partner...He is my family. So please let me in.

Receptionist: "Well my condolences sir, but you must understand that the patient is in a very delicate state right now and all you would succeed in doing would be to distract Lady Arabella from her operation on the patient and it could end fatally. Please grab a seat in the reception and wait until she calls down to the reception desk and gives us the clear that people are allowed to visit once again."

(Joss temper rises but Wendy appears.)

Wendy: Calm down Master. I'm sure this Cerberus partner will be ok. Let's wait here patiently.

(Joss sits and begins to meditate while waiting for Cerberus. Wendy curls besides him)

(Four hours later an andromorph comes through the teleportation crystal on the other side of the reception area and walks up to the receptionist.)

Andromeda: "Excuse me, Jefferson? Has a man named general annoyance Joss been through here? He is generally very quick tempered and a very impolite and disrespectful man."

(Joss opens his eyes with calm. He takes Wendy and walks slowly towards the talking creature.)

Joss: I'm Joss. Does the operation has finished?

Andromeda: "Oh! So, you are the sir called General Annoyance Joss? And no. The operation is still underway, but the patient has been stabilized. We always try to maintain the patient's family and/or owners aware of what is going on every few hours as long as the patient is under stable conditions. Would you like the good news or the bad news, General Annoyance Joss?"

Joss: Whichever you want really.

Andromeda: "Of course. The bad news is the patient will be out for another few days. There was great trauma to the cranial region, mainly the telencephalon and the metencephalon regions. There were a few blood clots gathered around the diencephalon region, but not anything Lady Arabella could not handle. There where multiple lacerations to the abdominal region with a complex series of tears to the muscle tissue around the throat and the main lung cavity. Sadly, all the wounds were worsened because of jostling of the patient's body and mistreatment of the patient's head. The good news is that the patient will make a full recovery with the special treatment Lady Arabella has for him. It constitutes physical therapy and a couple of muscle atrophy potions and body regeneration potions. With all of this combined he will be up and running again within a period of one to three months. The patient will be ready for visits tomorrow afternoon. Now if you will excuse me, I have to go back to my lady."

Joss: Okay, thanks.

(Joss goes again and sits to meditate. He hears for moment the voice of Cerberus)

Cerberus: (Hey...kid...)

Joss: (Cer is that you?)

Cerberus: (Yeah. Thanks for taking me to a...ummm...safe house?)

Joss: (No problem buddy! How are you feeling?)

Cerberus: (Had worst days when I was fighting against the angels. Hahaha)

Joss: The what?! Damn, we really need to talk. But you better get some rest. I will be outside waiting.

Cerberus: Thanks kid)

(Cerberus voice fade and Joss smiles)

After a few minutes...Two people appear arrives to the reception...

Girl: umm attention please I'm looking for a guy name Joshie.. Jashua.. I mean Joss?

(Joss opens one eye.)

Joss: Who's asking?

(Girl while writing on a paper)

Girl: the two of us

Guy: interesting..you were just talking to you dog right?

Girl: come with us outside we need to talk or else...

Joss: I'm not moving an inch from here until you tell me who you are and what you want.

Girl: it that soo.. Well then, the name its Beat and this is Dawn. We are guardian of the capital we were sent here to question you.

Dawn: So now if you please follow us outside

(U Gathers himself from the shadows within the facility and opens his chest and out comes Lucy. They both see Joss but don't know that Beat and Dawn are conversing with him)

Lucy: Joss, I was summoned by Arabella, is she ok?

U: We were way out into the swamps when we received the summon mark. I tried to come as fast as I could.

(Joss' face lighten up a little)

Joss: Hey U, Lucy. Well, Arabella is undergoing an operation on a friend of mine, but this guys here wanted to question me on somethings. The answer is no. (Turning to Beat) Sorry, but until I can see my friend, I'm not moving from here. And that's final.

(Wendy covers herself behind Joss)

Ancano: (Walks through the entrance doors and keeps on walking, ignoring the spectacle but goes towards Lucy and U.) "Lucy my girl! Arabella has been looking for you! We were going shopping and thought you might like some new clothes and a couple of new room decorations for your new quarters. Why don't we head up there now? And of course, your father is invited to come, but please remember to stay quiet. Arabella is going through a very complex operation at the moment."

U: Please Arcano, take Lucy. I'll stay here with Joss and help with whatever confusion that may have arised.

(Lucy looks at U and hesitates to go with Arcano after seeing the two guards)

Lucy: Are ... You sure papa?

U: Lucy, go... Now.

Ancano: "Then come along, Lucy. We had so many new clothing items and furnishings made for your room. We bought it all with an enchantment for them to change colors at your will..." (Ancano then wanders onto the warp stone on the floor and warps up to Arabella's floor with Lucy in toll.)

(Beat start walking to joss)

Beat: Hey it wasn't an "if" question... Well if being polite didn't help then Dawn if you please ....

Dawn: huh o right

(He then turns into a flute)

(Joss see Dawn turn into a flute)

Joss: Don't do it please. I will accompany you after I see my friend. And if you begin to make trouble here, they will get us out. I just want to make sure he is ok. After that, I will go with you.

U: - Giggles a bit- That was funny.

(Dawn from the flute): Sorry but its to late once that lady muse get the beat she can't be held

(Both joss and beat heart beats synchronized making it sound louder)

Beats start playing the flute...

At that moment

Everyone in the room feels like beeing teleported to a meadow In the night seeing in the stars all of joss doing this past weeks and ending when he arrive to this world

Joss: Stop! I will go with you!

Joss: (Cerberus, buddy, I will be out for a moment. I need to take care of some business.)

Cerberus: (Do you require assistance? I can-I can go...)

Joss: (No. Stay. I do not want to hear Arabella's voice now. I'm not really in the mood. Besides (he chuckles) this won't take too much time. Just relax with all the hot nurses there man.

Cerberus: (Hot...nurses? What is that?)

Joss: (Never mind. If anything, ANYTHING happens, let me know.)

Cerberus: (Okay, if you say so.)

(Joss follows Beat and Dawn)

(Beats at the end stop playing and everything like they never leave the reception )

Beats: that will be all no futher questioning is required (while tears start going down hers checks)

Dawn let us leave

Joss:...mmm...ok? Is that all?

Beat: it would have been easier if you would just awnser our question straight forward

(Joss turns around)

Joss: Yeah sure...

(He sits again and begins to meditate)

U: Interesting indeed.

(In the afternoon, Joss hears Cerberus)

Cerberus: (Hey kid)

Joss: (Hey Cerberus, how are you feeling?)

Cerberus: (Well, I'm not dying. That's a start) (both laugh) (Would you mind finding me some wild rabbit? I'm getting hungry and would like that.)

Joss: (Sure! But it's alright if you eat that now?)

Cerberus: (Kid, it's all good)

Joss: (Well, if you say so...)

Cerberus: (And also, you need to rest and eat. You can't be waiting for me all this time. Remember that if the master dies, the servant may suffer, or even worst, die too.)

Joss: Really?! I-I don't want you to die!

Cerberus: (Then go, get the rabbit and rest. You have earned it. And don't worry, I will be in good hands here.

(Joss stays silent)

Joss: I will go then. I will be back tomorrow morning.

Cerberus: Sure kid.

(Joss stands again and walks away from the university to the marketplace in search of the rabbit. He walks aimlessly and passes by a girl with white hair that is begging for money.)

Girl: Some money please...

(He is startled by her presence.)

Joss: Who...are you...?

(The girl smiles)

Girl: It seems you can see me.

(She disappears from his sight, but her voice could still be heard)

Girl: You have grown quite a lot in these past weeks. It's truly marvelous. Who would thought it?

(Joss turns around and searches for her.)

Girl: But if you are able to see me...(she makes a creepy smile) it seems my time is coming.

(Joss prepares to make a blood dagger)

Girl: Ah Ah Ah. Remember, if you do anything, Victor can come.

(She then appears behind him and licks his neck)

Girl: Let's just enjoy this moment and savor it.

(Joss turns abruptly and sees her)

Joss: You are NOT supposed to be here because...because...(his voice falters. The girl walks seductively to his ear)

Girl: Because you killed me?

(Joss falls and begins to sweat. The girl laughs.)

Girl: I am watching every step you make, every choice you do, every conversation you do, I am there. I will be watching you.

(She disappears into the crowd)

(Joss closes his eyes and his breathing intensifies.)
