Thalia let another arrow fly. It hit the bullseye with a satisfying THWACK.

But she was not even close to satisfied. The message she had gotten late last night replayed itself in her head constantly.

To: Thalia Grace the murder, and the liar.

Zoë can't speak about her murder from beyond the grave. Neither can Bianca. Reyna has stayed silent. But what about me?

Who could have sent it? There was no one else on the roof that night. Was there?

Thalia sighed as she slung her bow over her shoulder. She then went to retrieve her arrows.

"Thals!"

Thalia hums in reply as she hears her boyfriend approach her.

"Have you seen Annabeth?" Luke asks. "I can't find her. Can't find any of them actually..."

"I don't know," Thalia shrugs. "Jason was acting weird this morning but I ignored it. Don't you have a class to teach?"

"What?"

"You are an instructor. You teach classes. Like you have one now."

Luke curses and rushes out of the archery range. Thalia shakes her head and sighs.

"All boys are idiots," she mutters.

"Join us and you don't have to worry about that."

"Still, not joining the Hunters."

"Okay so: streamers, balloons, other decorationish stuff, food, and booze correct?" Travis asks ticking things off his fingers one by one.

Piper nods. "I think that's it for now. Maybe more later."

"Okay. So what do I get out of this deal?"

"Thought you might ask that," Piper smiles. "Get what I need and I will help you get a date with Katie and you can even drive my BMW to your date," Piper smiles once more dangling the keys to her BMW (the one she may or may not have stolen from one of her dads employees. She wasn't stupid enough to let a Stoll drive her car) in front of his face.

Travis makes a grab for the keys, but Piper pulls them back. "Not yet. And I need your word first."

"Connor is going to kill me, but alright. I'll do it."

"Good. Now to get a date with Katie..."

"What exactly are you building?" Nyssa asks Leo as he hammers away at a something....

"It's for the party next week. We are gonna need some badass speakers."

"Need some help?"

"Come on, Will," Nico groans.

"I have other stuff to do Nico," Will says as he continues wrapping a bandage around another campers arm.

"Like what?"

"Capture the Flag is on Friday. And the Hunters are here. You know how aftermath is. I'm busy enough as it is."

"But we need a DJ and your the best, and Hazel will kill me if I don't get you to DJ."

"Just find someone else."

"As I repeat: your the best. Look, I'll-I'll help you even."

"Really?" Will asks raising and eyebrow at Nico who frowns at his own words. "Alright. You help and I can DJ."

Nico sighs. "What do I have to do?"

Lunch came and went and Luke couldn't help but feel like something was off. His friends kept sending him strange glances and stopping conversations near him.

And his girlfriend seemed to pissed off to do anything. He had tried to talk to her and barely dodged an arrow the face.

Pissed Off Thalia = Bad

Pissed Off Thalia + A Weapon = Run For Your Life

Luke had learned that lesson too many times. He sighed as he made his was to the arena. Another class to teach.

Luke still didn't quite get why he has to teach classes and Percy didn't. Percy had learned quickly and soon passed Luke to become the best swordsman in camp.

Yes swords. Camp Half-Blood is a different sort of camp.

"Why do I have to teach again?" Luke groans as he enters.

"Because you can't trust Percy in charge," Annabeth answers as she leaves. She had just finished teaching a class herself.

"Can't trust Jackson with anything," Luke agrees. "And if he ever-"

"He won't and I'm quite capable of beating him up myself. But thank you Luke." Annabeth smiles and gives him a hug. "I'm gonna miss you and Thals."

"I'll miss you too. But we'll always be a family."

"Thalia!"

Thalia gave a yawn and didn't stop walking. She had fallen for a few minutes during the campfire and was ready to crash.

"Thalia," Luke groans catching up.

"What?"

"I need to talk to you. It's important."

"It can wait until the morning can't it?"

"Not really... The sooner the better..."

"Look Luke I'm tired and-" Thalia cuts herself off as she pushes open her cabin door to find a letter sitting on her pillow.

"You gonna finish that sentence or can we talk?" Luke asks.

Thalia ignores him and turns to Jason sprawled on his bed. She grabs the letter and shoves it in his face.

"Who put this here?" She demands.

"How should I know?" Jason answers taking off his glasses. "It was here when I got here. Didn't read it or anything."

Luke tries again. "Thalia-"

"Not now. We can talk later."

Luke sighs and retreats out the cabin heading for his own.

Thalia waits until she is sure Jason is asleep. She then grabs the letter and sneaks out on to the roof of her cabin.

Now Thalia had never been a fan of heights but the letter seemed more important than her fear.

She slowly undid the seal and took out the piece of paper. Her eyes wandered the page and she almost dropped it out of shock. She felt a rage inside her and tore the paper into shreds and threw it up letting the wind carry it to whatever destination it may please.

She stared up at the large constellation in front of her. The Huntress it was called. It was relatively new. It had appeared in the sky the same day Zoë had died... Thalia hated it.

It felt like Zoë was mocking her even now. She closed her eyes the letter's words ringing over and over in her head.

"Yeah. I know," Luke whispers into his cell. He stands at the top of Half-Blood Hill phone in hand. Everyone else is still sleeping at this hour.

"I told them what they want to hear," Luke says. He pauses listening for a reply.

"Yes I know what that entails. But I already made a choice."

Pause.

"I'm your eyes and ears."

Another pause.

"10- well 9 days now. But, I'll get it done."

Pause.

"Understood."

Pause.

"Yes, Lord Kronos."
