Note: don't get to excited about the title.

Ben couldn't see where Rey went "Rey!?" He yelled at nothing but darkness
"What Ben?!" Rey responded through the pitch black library "I was thinking we could play Marco Polo in order to fin—"
'CRASH'
Ben heard something fall. "Rey?" She was screaming in pain "Rey!"
Ben finally was able to find Rey in the darkness "hey you alright?" He was worried about if she was hurt
"Yeah I'm totally fine. a bookshelf fell on my fucking foot that made me bloody scream. Thanks for asking" Rey responded sassy and sarcastic "just get the damn bookshelf off my fucking foot" this time she was serious in a rougher, irritated way
Ben held up the bookshelf so she could get her leg and ankle out and crouches down next to her and puts his hand down to her ankle making Rey feel  "where does it hurt" when Ben got to a part where Rey winced at the pain. "Found it" Rey groaned from the pain in her ankle "can you walk?" Ben could tell she rolled her eyes and gave him a 'are you fucking serious right now' look so he picked her up bridal fucking style and finds his way to the couches and lays her down and plops down next to her on the ground leaning his head against another couch.
Rey wondered why he bridal carried her instead of him being her Human Crutch.

There was 20 minutes of silence between the two
"Where ya from?" Rey looked at him rolling her eyes and then just sighs "I– I don't know. I know I was living in Boston for my whole damn life" Ben was lucky to have parents of his own but they weren't always there for him "so where are you from?" He laughed at her question and then cleared his throat "I'm from Texas" Ben was quite embarrassed "I used to ride horses at 15 years old. Now I'm not so sure I know how to ride a horse."
"Do you miss it?" Rey missed her real home with her parents
"Miss what?" Ben asked back as if he knew what she was asking "Texas...and your parents" Rey replied
"It was a place I once lived and no I don't miss them." Ben felt like he was living in the past when someone brought up his parents "but it was your home and they were as well"

A few minutes passed and Ben really wanted to ask Rey why she was in Boston all her life but he knew it was personal to her "My parents abandoned me at an orphanage at the age of 5," Ben suddenly looks at her in confusion like she just read his mind "they never came back for me, never left a note" Rey's voice starts to break and when she notices she gets up and walking to the action/sci-fi book section of the library limping, she then sits there leaving Ben in a state where he understood what that felt like.
To feel abandoned and alone.

2:51 am

Ben couldn't sleep that night just thinking how lonely they both were growing up. with Ben's father leaving him alone with his mother and Chewie their beloved Wookie dog and Reys parents abandoning her at an orphanage with no reason at all.
He got up to find Rey and when he did he heard her making sounds of pain "You alright Rey?" his voice startled her "yeah,  yeah i'm fine" "well you don't sound fine" Rey's vision got used to the surrounding darkness and was barely able to see his face  "you wouldn't understand"  Rey said as they both drift off to sleep. 

7:23am

The sun peeks through behind the trees and then onto Rey's face as it wakes her up to find her head on Ben's shoulder "AHHH" Rey crawled back in nervousness and embarrassment of not knowing they fell asleep on each other
"Re-" before Ben could finish they heard someone unlock the door "we never talk about this" Rey said on their way to the exit.
