"Rex!" Kiana Kaslana whined with tears in her eyes as she sat on a seat in front of the counter. "Mei is cheating on me!" 

Rex looked at the young woman and blinked several times before turning back to the kitchen to cook her something. 

"She.. she let someone else touch her horn and she was very pretty too! With big tits and all!" Kiana whined once more, looking at her medium is premium breasts. "D-does Mei like big boobs?!" 

Inwardly, Rex sighed. For some reason, this moron got through his guard, and now. 

"I got nothing," Rex said to her before handing her the usual burger she ordered. "Why are you even telling this to me? I only know you personally, not the others," he said before sitting on his seat. It was a quiet evening and it was just her in the diner. 

"Am I ugly?" 

"Crying like that? Yes," A pair of soft hands pinched the youngest Crozzo's cheeks as Kiana pouted at him with tears in her eyes. "You're supposed to comfort me!" 

"Am I your boyfriend?" Rex asked, ignoring his watching co-workers, 

"Yes and no. You are a boy and my friend but not my boyfriend." Sighing to herself while hugging her knees, the young woman looked at the burger on the table. 

"Look, I might not know Mei personally but she isn't the type to do so." 

"W-what if there's an ugly bastard out there!?" 

"Kiana, stop reading too much porn. You're already dumb, no need to kill more of your brain," 

"Hmph!" Standing from her usual seat, Kiana took the burger and paid for it. "I'll be back tomorrow," 

"Stay safe," Rex said with a shrug before turning around to clean. 

"Also, as an apology I'm borrowing your hoodie!" Kiana said with a smile, sticking her tongue out to Rex before hopping away with his hoodie in her hand. 

"..." Rex's blood pressure rose intensely.

Kiana Kaslana smiled as she wore the oversized hoodie over her casual attire. Her only male friend and possible best friend's hoodie was quite comfortable. While she originally just went to the diner because of their affordable prices, she found out that teasing the poor stoic man her age was a good way to spend time. 

Things happened and now, they are sort of friends...

Arriving at the Diner, she noticed a sight in front of the window. Pink hair of a girl a few years younger than her and Bronya holding a baby?! Wait, she's talking with Rex? Why?

"What are you doing, Kiana?" Rex asked as he looked at her. He held the toddler in one arm. Pink hair and features similar to him.

"Stop watching too much porn, She's my niece. My brothers went out and no one can watch over her but me," He said, ignoring how the toddler giggled and tugged on his hair. "Rin just got here to give her to me,"

"Mind looking after her for a bit? I have to finish my shift early then it's off to the park for us," He said to her. 

"Sure! Hello, little baby," Kiana said, holding the pink-haired baby in her arms and greeting Rin, who had to run away. The young Kaslana played with the toddler with ease and Rex... hidden to all but some co-workers, a small smile formed on his face after seeing his niece warm up to his... friend... acquaintance? 

"She looks a bit like Fu Hua," Kiana noted, seeing the baby's nose and eyes. 

"Fu Hua?" Rex asked only for his eyes to narrow as Kiana showed her a picture of Fu Hua. "We must be distantly related then. One of our ancestors went to Shenzhou five hundred years ago or something," Rex said before handing Kiana a burger and some baby food for his niece. 

"Say, little baby. Want us to dye your uncle's hair pink?" Hearing the giggles from his niece, Rex sighed, knowing that Kiana would find a way to do so. 

"I have a wig..." 

"Twink," 

"If Reese wasn't here, I would have smacked you with a frying pan," Rex warned before looking at the baby giggling as she looked at them. "Don't be like this moron when you grow up," 

"Why not? I'm cool!" 

"You've caused me more headaches in the past few weeks that I've known you than I lived!" Rex said calmly. 

"It's good for you, you Stic," 

"Stoic is the word," 

"Thanks. It's good for a stoic man like you to feel emotions," Kiana said with a grin as she held the baby in her lap. "You never told me you had brothers," 

"You didn't ask," Rex said with a shrug before looking at her. "Stop pouting, you're already corrupting the gremlin," 

"Don't call her that! She's a pretty adorable baby," Hugging the child close to her, a smile formed on her face as the toddler smiled at her. "Yes, that's right, big sis Kiana is here," 

"More like an old hag," Rex sniped, teasing the girl with a smirk on his face, causing heart attacks to most of the present staff. 

"Old hag?" Kiana whispered as she looked at her hair before looking down. "Limp dick," 

"Dick!" 

Kiana and Rex looked at the girl with a proud smile. The two looked at each other, Rex looked at her with a dead stare while her cheeks flushed. "I won't be cooking for you for three days," 

"F-fair enough..." 

"Dick!"

Texting Kiana to thank her for a fun day of helping him keep his niece company, Rex smiled as he looked at the sleeping form of his niece on the bed. "Good night, Reese," He whispered, kissing her forehead gently while tucking her in.

"What do you want, Seele?" Noticing something off... "Veliona, stop acting like Seele," 

"Reinhardt the moron wants you to return to the estate," 

"No," The entire temperature around them dropped. "This is my life, I built it. It's my choice and mine alone," Rex said to her. "I love my family but I wanted this," 

"Tch," Saying nothing, Veliona hopped off her chair and walked away. "You're acting like a spoiled child, Rex." 

"... I might not be trained because of them... but I won't back down," Rex replied as he looked at her. 

"Hmph, as cold as ever," Veliona whispered with a pout before walking away. 

"Stop spying on me, Great Gramps. Want a green hat?" Rex asked the blonde-haired green-eyed child a few seats away from him. 

"Just checking up on you," Otto Apocalypse said with a smile. "The Kaslana girl, eh?" 

"That moron is just an annoyance to my daily life," 

"Hmm... yet she knows where you live and knows your niece. You trusted her enough to help you take care of little Reese." 

"Kaslanas are loveable idiots," Rex said with a scoff yet a ghost of a smile formed on his face, seen by Otto.
