Rex:
While Kix is waiting for the results, I turn and walk to one of the private rooms set up for the generals if they got injured. I places her on the bed and gently lay a light blanket on her. She looked so peaceful almost as if she was asleep. I slowly place my hand on her shoulder and whisper "please be alright, there's just something about you I... I... Just can't help worrying about you. Not a moment later I hear the door open and I move my hands to my side and turn to face the door as Kix and Cal enter the room.
Kix reads the data pad and says "she is out of energy, by the looks of if she hasn't eaten all day. For reasons I can't explain she seems to be dying but at the same time rapidly healing."
Kix's comment didn't have me feeling any better about ashoka's condition. "Sooo is she going to be alright? How long will she be out? What caused this?"
Ashoka lets out a grown.
I completely forgotten about the questions I had just asked and whipped around to examine ashoka. She had turned her head to the side and towards us and she had bent her left knee up slightly.
Kix's comes to the side of the bed and gently pushes her knee down and whispers "she'll be up soon"
I whisper to cal "go get some food and water for the commander."
Cal runs out of the room; while Kix does another scan of Ashoka.
When the information on the data pad was loaded. Kix says "she's stable, thoughts I'm not sure what happened. I haven't had the chance to study tortugan gentetics; so when she wakes up ask her if she knows what happened."
Rex gives him a node and request "send me her last body scan"
Kix mess with his data pad and then salutes him and leaves. And starts mumbling to himself about learning about tortugans.
After a few minutes Cal returned with some food and water, he hands them to Rex and says "I am going to report to my squad sir" and then turns in his heals and leaves.
He pulls a chair up next to Ashoka's bed. He sets the food down and unclips his helmet from his belt. He takes out his datapad and creates an encrypted file that he titles Ashoka. And up loads her body scan.
He hears a gentle voice in his head says "Rex"
He turns over to the bed were Ashoka was laying, only to find her with her eyes still closed but her head know turn his direction. When he had set her down he position her head so she was looking at the door. He decided to try something. He concentrated on her and thought "yes commander?"
Her eyes immediately opened and she says "Rex I told you to call me Ashoka, not commander"
He was so in shock that she actually heard his thoughts, and for once he was speechless.
Ashoka asked "what happened I don't remember what happened after you woke up."
"You collapsed. Kix says you were out of energy, and something along the lines of dying but also in a state of rapid healing. I was supposed to ask you what happened"
"From what you described, I didn't have enough energy for two healing and a force vision." She sits up and then says "Force vision and healing can be very draining if you do a lot in a short period of time."
He wasn't sure what a force vision was, but if it was going affect her ability to fight he needs to know so he can protect her in battle. He leans forward and rests his elbows on his knees and asks "what is a force vision? how often do you get them? What was your force vision about?" He stands up and places the food in her lap and points at it and orders "Kix said you haven't eaten today so that all needs to be eaten"
She smiles and says "ok." She takes a bite and says "force vision, show a Jedi anything and everything, a Jedi can't choose what they see. Visions aren't always reliable, if it's about the future it might come true it might not. Visions about the past are supposed to guide us to something. The force shows you what it wants, whenever it want. Vision was about CT-7567." She eats some more of the food
He was surprised, that was his number. He asks "Ashoka do you know who's number that is?"
She shakes her head, but she says "from what I saw, I think it's you." She takes a drink
"You are correct." He thought about what she said about visions not being reliable. But he had to know what the vision showed her about him. "Ashoka what was the vision about?" I ask her with a slight edge to my voice.
"A younger you with an excruciating headache, and getting a piece of your brain removed. And your eyes changing from brown like your brothers to blue. And your hair from black to blonde." She puts some more food in her mouth.
Know he was really surprised, that was the one thing he had never told anyone. He figured that his secret was safe since fett died. But know that Ashoka knew he didn't know what to do.
Ashoka places her hand on his arm and says "no worries Rex, your secret is safe with me."
