What a day

Ashoka:
One minute I'm attempting to have a decent conversation with Rex on our way back to our room. But then my head feels light headed and my eyes start to see black spots. The last thing I  see as my world turns black is Rex's concerned face. With all the energy I could muster before darkness consumed me, I mutter "Rex, Cal"

Rex:
As the general and I walk back to Ashoka and i's room there is thick tension in the air. The general ignores me the entire time. Luckily for me, he coms Kix's and orders him to meet us in my room.
Once in our room I set Ashoka down on her bunk. While the general stands by the door with his arms crossed and firm glare in my direction. I'm wondering what's his deal a few days ago he couldn't wait to get rid of her and now all of the sudden he want to act like a protective big brother.
"Rex"
"Yes, General?"
"Did she say anything before she passed out?"
"Yes, but I wasn't able to understand what she said"
The general's eyebrows crease. Nothing more can be said between the two of us. As two hard nocks come from the door. The general opens the door and lets Kix's in.

Kix's:
As if my day couldn't get any worse.... nothing like a peaceful kriffing day in republic army 🙄. As if I didn't have enough to do!! I was in the middle of surgery, when the general called. And to make matters worse only two other medics are in proper medical condition. And with so many wounded brothers, I fear the worst. And then there's the general, who's been in a grumpy mood since his last mission. The jerk won't even tell me what this oh so important matter is. And would it kill the man to say please! So here I am walking towards Rex's room and lugging my medical bag through the halls. As I turn the final corner before Rex's room, I put my emotions in check, And nock on the door. And thank goodness my helmet was on.... If it wasn't the general who answered the door I would have been grinning from ear to ear. I see Ashoka passed out on the bed on the left, and Rex who is obviously concerned be trying to keep a straight face. Those two really just need to get together, a but at las rules...
The general has a stern look on him face, so I know I better get straight to work.
"General, May I ask what happened?"
The general looks at Rex "Rex"
Rex shifts his weight from foot to foot. "The commander and I went to get some grub in the mess and we where walking back. Before she passed out she looked pale. So I asked her what's wrong but she didn't answer. I almost didn't catch her in time before she hit the floor"
I do a quick body scan of Ashoka, "physical there isn't any thing wrong with her. If I were to take a guess, I would say the last couple days have finally caught up to her."
General "so how do we get her back to normal?"
"I haven't had a chance to study tortugan physiology, so I can only recommend supper vision and rest"
General "do you have any men to spare?"
Spare are you kidding me " no general, I only have two other medics and with the number of wounded we won't have time to even shower for the next week."
General "well Rex, looks like you're in charge of Ashoka for the next 7 days. And she is to rest even after she wakes up. And you will keep kix and I updated."
"Yes sir"
General "I will take my leave, kix inform Rex on any thing he should be doing to get snips here better. And check on her as you see fit, but I do want her to have an examination after theses five days"
"Yes, sir" and with that the general leaves. I take of my helmet. While attaching Ashoka to a monitor and IV "well Rex, replace the IV when empty and keep exercising to a minimum. Once things calm down I'll read up on torugans, while she's asleep try to get work done because when she's awake, I'm sure you two will get distracted." Hopefully you two will  any least further develop feelings for each other.
"Thanks, Kixs. I'll page you if we need anything."
And with that I leave, leaving sleeping beauty and her knightly prince who eagerly waits for her to wake. And back to the hectic medical bay.

Rex:
Well... I guess I'll get some work done.

A/n: well it's been a while. Sorry about that! Life keeps throwing curve balls my writing with my crazy schedule.
