A/N: I didn't want to change the way the creators wrote the battle and the after conversation between Ahsoka and Anakin. Also the conversation between Master Yoda, Kenobi, Skywalker, and Ahsoka. Saying that I am going to start the story right as Ashoka leaves the conversation with the Masters.

Ahsoka:

As I am running towards the flight command station, I couldn't help marvel at my fantastically crazy day. There was so much going on today that the small stressful battle can't even come close to wavering the grin that is no doubtably plastered on my face. My Master is so different from the other Jedi, it makes me that much more exciting to be his padawan. And... then there is Rex. I swear how can the masters not tell that he has a force presence. Though I am not sure,  I think he has enough of a force presence to actually use the force like a Jedi. I haven't known Rex very long and I am happy but sad to say I will be attachment issues with him. It will definitely be a hard-fought battle but I have a feeling that I Rex and I are connected. But how? I'm not sure.

As I stop outside the flight command station a trooper approached with a datapad.  He salutes and says "Yes Commander?"

I give him a smile and reply "Trooper, I need a lift up to the General Skywalkers command ship."

"Yes, Commander. I will call a ship to bring you up to the Resolute." With that, the trooper messed with his datapad and then pointed off to his three o'clock; "Commander, that ship coming into land, is your ride."

"Thank you, Trooper" I walk over to the area the ship was coming into land. The door opens and to my surprise, Kix and a few clones I don't recognize 

Kix gives me a quick salute, "Welcome aboard, Commander Tano"

The door shuts and we start heading toward the resolute. "Thank you, Kix's. How are the men doing? Not too many wounded I hope." It's hard to tell what the clones are thinking when they have their helmets on.

But after a long pause, he says "Truthfully, commander... " he looks away from me and continues "We lost a lot of men, the battle was rough on our end."

The smile that once graced my face, fades away to a frown, as I take in what kix's has said. I hang my head low. "my apologies kix's I was so caught up in my own personal success I... I forgot the costs of war."

"Commander."

I interupt him "Kix's, Ashoka is fine when we're not talking strategy or with the other Jedi."

"Ah. Ashoka. It means a lot to me that you care about our health. And I'm sure my brothers would agree with me. As clones, some of us have gotten used to each other dying."

"I wish there was more I could do for you guys, we ask so much yet we do so little for you guys"

"Its what we were made for, but if you would like I can teach you basic clone first aid. So that you can help a clone in and out of battle."

I was ecstatic to hear this, I'll be able to understand them more and make a difference in their lives. To the best of my ability, I gave him a side hug. "Thank you!"

Kix stiffened a bit until I let go and then said "You're welcome"

I could feel the ship slow down and land, then the doors opened, to where Rex was waiting for us. The two of us approached rex were kix saluted, Rex.

Kix "Captain, I will be in the med bay attending to the wounded. Please, stop by later for a post-battle scan, in the case of a possible injury."

"Will do, Kix. Dismissed."

With that Kix gives me a quick node and rushes off in the direction of the med bay. I look back at Rex and ask "My master should be here eventually, what should we do in the meantime?"

He removes his helmet, and holds it by his side." How about a quick tour, and then I'll drop you off at your room for some rest before the next battle?"

"That would be great, getting lost is the last thing I need." We begin walking in the direction Kix, headed off to.

Rex: "So, it looks like you're a permanent addition to the 501st."

I say with a bashful smile "It sure does. Looks like you'll be seeing a lot more of me Rex"

He gives me a smile as we make a turn "It will be nice having your perspective around. The med bay is just around the corner."

"Good I need to know where that's. Kix's is going to be giving me clone first aid once things calm down a bit."

He raises an eyebrow. "Really?"

"Yeah, it will be nice. I'll be able to help in the med bay when they need help or some quick medical attention in the field."

"Its valuable skill, this will be a very help in battle. And an added bonus for me."

"Bonus?"

"Well, once you're trained maybe i can go to you instead of kix for my battle check-ups. And no more grumpy Kix."

I laugh at his response. "Kix doesn't seem that bad"

He gives me a half smile as he holds open the med doors for me. "Normally, his just fine but wait till you critically injured then you'll understand what I mean."

"Ah... Now I get it. And it makes perfect sense."

As we enter the med bay, my smile is once again smacked of my face. The med bay is almost completely full, and there are no where near enough medics. As clone protocol, everyone must put in a post battle scan to keep track of physical health. So having that on top of a high injury battle, it left things in a disarray.
The two of us looked at each other and turned around and walked right out the med doors. After an awkward silence Rex said "Kix's is going to be busy for the next couple days"
I nod in agreement "I'm sure he will be but I hope he at least finds time to get some rest."
As we make a few more turns Rex says "He will but it will be a while and he'll be of duty for a while to recover"
We both stop outside my bedroom, I was about to enter when Rex stopped me. "Ashoka"
"Yes?"
He points into the writing on the door, "did you know we'd be sharing a room?"
I felt my lekku turn slightly pink as I respond "no, I wasn't. What do we do?"
"It's our room so... enter I guess?"
