ALDEN'S HIGHEST mark so far, the grades were on his side, he got As and Bs, for the time being, he was delighted. "Damn, nerdy one huh?" a familiar voice teased, it was Gabriella, "scoffed I'm just smart at it, not a nerd," Alden spoke softly.

KRING!

"Welp, looks like we're separating, see ya' Gabby," Alden waved as Gabriella left him, he took his backpack and went to the lab. 'Please let my partner be a smart one.. I don't what that incident happened again.'

The lab was clean and modern, Alden sat at the furthest row due to the front being full. Beside him, were a boy his age, "hi, nice to meet you," the boy spoke tiredly, seemly not interested in anything at the moment. "Uh.. Hi, nice to meet you too.. I guess..." Alden spoke.

The subject begins its magic. They mixed bunch of things, iodine were the only thing Alden lack of.. Since his table has little to nothing left, so Alden went to the teacher and excused himself to find another bottle behind the lab.

The door opened, Alden turned on the light and began searching, opening cupboards, looking up the shelves, under the shelves. He wasn't fond of being later than he imagined, he thought he'd be in this room for like 10 minutes, but it has been 15 minutes. He stood up and took the flashlight he found and searched the deeper part of the room where the lights were dimmed, some lighter, some dimmer. 'Yuck...'

Then he found it, five bottles of iodine kept in safely, as he tried to reach it, he felt funny.. Something's running on his hand, a small bug when on his hand and bit him, "argh!" he yelped and slapped the bug away, he uses his flashlight and he sees that it's a small spider, a weird looking one...

"what the-" Alden was confused, he cut himself and picks up the dead spider, he took a look at it and threw it away to the floor, feeling the spider bite itches a bit.

Alden went out with the iodine and back to the class, the class ended after another 30 minutes.

KRING!

Alden decided to go to the library and sat down in the furthest part of the library, where it's quieter than anything, he pulled his phone out and uses his earphones, plugging in and uses the right one only so he hear if the bell rings.

He opened his phone, opening spotify and search for a good song that will fit the moment, a random shuffle picked 'Good In Goodbye - Madison Beer' and to be real, he doesn't enjoy it as much, he clicked next, 'La Da Dee - Cody Simpson' played. Alden shrugged, "better than nothing..." Alden whispered and opened webtoon, he decided to read 'Batman: Wayne Family Adventures' because why not?

TIME SKIP!

Alden went to the cafeteria, listening to 'Greedy - Tate McRae' to eat, he decided to just screw it and eat whatever he sees... 'Why does my appetite...' Alden thought, thinking that his appetite is the opposite of what he used to. He sat near the table, then Gabby sat beside him, "hi!" her voice were soft and cheerful, "hello," Alden's lip curved into a soft smile as Gabby sat beside him, they talked together as they both eat.

"Which dorm do you stay in?" Gabby asked, "third block, named 'Western Block'? Pretty sure that's it..." Alden mumbled, "tenth floor, room twenty-two," he spoke again, Gabby's eyes shined, "hey, that's across mine! We could say hi every morning! Maybe even do that thing that Taylor Swift does on her music video!" Gabby kept bragging on and on as Alden eats his food.

That didn't stop Gabby to talk more and occasionally eats Alden's food.

Alden went to the library, to the furthest part and uses his earphones, one in his ear one dangling down in case the bell rings without his noticing. He listens to his song playlist, 'Flowers - Miley Cyrus' he immediately changed that song to another, 'Greedy - Tate McRae' goes, he shrugged and went on a nap.

KRING!

  The bell rang 30 minutes later after Alden went to a nap, he woke up with the spider bite starting to reddening.

  He went back to his dorm, showered and changed. Getting his phone with a huff and texted his mother, 'Does spider bites usually itchy, mom?' He got a reply, 'Not that I know of.. Why?', Alden gulped as he now is thinking of an excuse, 'Just wondering, a science project!', he got a thumbs up emoji as a reply and sighed in relieved. He threw the phone on the bed and flopped beside it, "sighed great.. I hate seeing the doctor..." he muttered out before trying to go to sleep.

  His roommate, an African boy who loves eating was munching food on the couch in the dorm's kitchen (the kitchen and the living room were combined into one), Alden couldn't help but rolled his eyes at the sound of loud munching, "oh dear... Munch louder please, I lovveee hearing you munching your chips..." Alden complained quietly.

  Alden fell asleep a while later, his body began to sweat as he sleeps more. In the middle of the night, he gasped awake, body full of rashes and itch. ".. Argh.." he groaned as he scratches his arm and neck, then cheek and rib, practically everywhere was itching!

  He immediately runs to the bathroom and takes off his shirt, getting a hot shower, then ice cold, then extra hot and warm, trying to ease the itchiness. It worked a little bit, but his body was still full of itching rash. He looked into the mirror, his dark green eyes turned lighter, more vivid, his black hair was turning lighter, ashy strawberry blond now! "Oh.. Shi--"

SLAM!!

  "Alezandro!" the teacher yelled loudly as she kept her hand on the slammed paper. "Y-yeah, teach?" Alden stuttered a bit, "what's. The. Answer?" his teacher asked, a scowling face on her, "uhm..."

And certainly, more red.
