Nagisa's POV

Tonight, there's gonna be a summer festival!

I'm really excited, since I rarely go to festivals. The whole class will be going, including Karasuma-sensei and Bitch-sensei. The girls will be wearing yukatas, so I'm off to buy one with Kaede and Rio-chan right now.

I saw Kaede waiting in front of the shop, "Hey, Kaede!"

She smiled at me, "Oh, Nagisa!"

"Rio-chan didn't come yet?" I asked.

She shaked her head, "Nope. I guess we'll have to wait."

I nodded and stood beside her, waiting for Rio-chan.

Looking through the big window of the store, there are some really pretty yukatas.

After a short while, Rio-chan came, "Hey, guys! Sorry I'm late."

Kaede looked at her, "There you are! You know how hard it is not to go in the store while looking at all these yukatas from the window?"

Rio-chan gave an apologetic look, "Sorry, sorry! But hey, we can go in now." She said as she walked in the shop. We followed behind not long after.

We all looked around, "Wow, there are many different colors and patterns!" I said.

An attendant came and greeted us, "Welcome! Please take your time and look around!"

Kaede turned to her, "Yeah!"

"Guys, guys!!" Rio-chan suddenly shouted, "Look at this!" She pointed towards a dark purple men's yukata decorated with skulls.

We laughed, and I thought, "I bet Karma-kun would like to wear that."

Kaede laughed, "What, are you interested in it, Rio-chan?"

"No way!" She waved her hands.

I said, "Wearing a yukata is a rare opportunity, so you have to choose the one you like best."

Kaede nodded, "Exactly! That's why I'm gonna go all out and buy the one that will suit me best! Even though my wallet will be empty..."

We all separated, and looked for yukatas we like.

I was looking around, and one particular yukata stood out to me. It was an ombre dark blue and black yukata, decorated with beautiful pink flowers, with a light pink obi.

I searched for my size and took it. An attendant came to me and asked, "Would you like to try it on? Your friends are also in the fitting room."

"Yes, please!"

She leaded me into the fitting rooms, and when we got there, Kaede came out in one of them with an attendant wearing a light pink yukata with white sakura petals decorating it.

"It looks good, Kaede!" I said.

"Really? Maybe I'll get this one!" She replied.

Then Rio-chan also came out with an attendant wearing a red yukata decorated with orange, yellow, and white flowers.

Kaede looked at her, "Looking good, Rio-chan!"

Rio-chan put her hand on her chin, "Hehe~ I chose the right one!"

She turned to me, "Are you wearing that?" She pushed me into the stall, "Well, hurry up! Go try it on!"

The attendant that lead me here said, "Do you need help? Putting on a yukata can be tough."

I nodded, and we went into the changing room. I changed into the yukata with the help of the attendant.

Wow, it's really hard to walk in this.

I came out of the stall, Kaede and Rio-chan waiting.

Kaede looked at me, "Wow... You look great, Nagisa! It's very mature, and it suits you!"

I blushed, "R-really?"

Rio-chan smirked, "That's right! You have a nice body, so you suit wearing a yukata~" She said. I blushed even harder.

"Plus, I think Karma-kun will drool over you!" She added.

"E-eeh..." I sweat dropped.

"So it's three yukatas?" The attendant asked.

"Yep." Kaede said.

Then we all changed back to our normal clothes, and bought our yukatas. I swear I can see my money flying away...

We all said our goodbyes, and went home.

-Time skip to the festival-

I sat on the couch, waiting. Karma-kun said that he'll pick me up.

I was wearing my yukata, and styled my hair. My hair was tied up into a small bun, still letting some hair go down. A patch of my hair was also braided, and it went around the bun. I also wore a pink flower hair clip. My mom helped with my yukata and hairstyle. I also had a small pouch holding some money.

The doorbell rang. It was Karma-kun.

I opened the door, and Karma-kun was there, in casual clothes. I guess the guys are wearing normal clothes.

When he saw me, his eyes widened a bit, and looked away, blushing.

Seeing this, I blushed too, "D-do I look bad?"

He turned back to me, "No! You look cute, Nagisa~" He said, smiling.

I smiled back, and we started heading towards the shrine.

When we arrived, most of the class was already there. Koro-sensei was wearing a yukata as a disguise. Bitch-sensei also wore yukata. Except I think it's really, really expensive...

When everyone noticed us, the girls came to me and said, "Nagisa! You look so pretty!!"

"E-eh!? Uh, thanks!" I replied.

I heard Okajima-kun crying in the background, "Karma, you lucky bastard!!"

I then saw Koro-sensei coming towards me. He said, "Nagisa-san!! I want to wish you a happy birthday!! I'm sorry I'm so late!!" He started crying.

He turned to the others, "Why didn't you all tell me about her birthday!? Am I not cool enough to be in your party!?" He said, still dramatically crying.

The class replied with, "Well, we didn't really need you." and "Yeah, we would have no reason to." I sweat dropped as Koro-sensei cried even more.

After that, we went around and bought some food. Me and Kaede bought candy apples. So good~

"Nagisa~" Someone said. No, not someone said, I already know it's Karma-kun.

I turned around to see Karma-kun holding a plastic with takoyaki with one hand, and holding the stick with takoyaki on it with the other.

He held the stick with takoyaki towards my mouth, "Say 'aahh'!"

I blushed, "Ehh!?"

"Come on~"

I opened my mouth, "A-ahh..."

He put the takoyaki in my mouth. It was delicious!

I heard Rio and Kaede chanting behind me, "Ship!! Ship!!"

"One more Nagisa~"

"E-eh!?"

After that, we went to pray in the shrine. I prayed for the world to be saved, and everyone would be happy.

Then we started to play some games, shooting games, fishing games... We also scooped some goldfish and bouncy balls. I didn't get the goldfish, but I got the bouncy ball.

After that, we played some fireworks.

Maehara-kun lit up the firework, and stood back. But... The firework wasn't going off. He showed a confused face and went to light it again, but when he got close to it, the firework went off, almost getting his face.

"Whoa, that's dangerous!!"

Everyone laughed as the firework went off to the sky.

Okano-chan shouted, "Hey everyone! The big fireworks are gonna start soon!!"

As soon as she finished saying that, I felt someone grabbing my hand and started running with me. I looked up to see Karma-kun smiling at me.

We kept running, "K-Karma-kun? What's wrong?"

He just smiled at me as we continued running. It was kinda hard to run, since I was wearing a yukata.

He took me to a quiet hill, where we stopped. The hill overlooked the whole shrine. We could see the beautiful lanterns illuminating everywhere.

He sat down on the grass, "I discovered this place not too long ago. It has a great view of the fireworks and people don't usually come here."

I sat down beside him, smiling.

After a short while of us waiting, I saw a few lines of light going upwards towards the sky. I stood up, my eyes sparkling, "Ah! They're starting!"

The fireworks exploded in the sky, creating lots of beautiful colors. They exploded in thousands of parts, making loud "boom" noises, "Look, Karma-kun!"

The fireworks keep going as they light the hill with their colors.

Another one exploded, and this time, it was soo huge!!

"Wow!! Did you see that!? It was so hu-" I was cut off by Karma-kun pulling me down towards him and connecting my lips with his.

I blushed and closed my eyes, holding his shoulder. I could hear the fireworks booming behind us as we kissed. We pulled away, with Karma-kun smiling.

I gave a shy smile back, and we continued watching the fireworks exploding beautifully in the night sky.
