Ayako was disturbed, she had not been able to clear her mind out from this Koshi guy.

When the time came for them to watch yet another clip, she could not understand why she felt so sick. It was as if the world decided to play a cruel joke on her. Why can't I remember anything? She was frustrated, she felt like pulling her hairs out. Her hands were itching to crush something so she could at least let out her frustration somehow but then she remembered, there are people here, keep calm. She repeated it and took a few deep breaths.

They saw the screen start again and turned to the screen.

The scene started with the camera panning down from the Hokage rock to the Hokage Residence.

"The Uchiha are assembling again tonight." Danzo could be seen saying to the Third Hokage.

"I know about it as well." The third informed.

"They're going to fan the flames of distrust against us, then use it unite the clan." Danzo spoke again, sounding vexed.

"Why would we?" Fugaku questioned appalled. "We Uchihas would not stoop that low. Maybe it's the Leaf that is the problem." he said affronted.

"But we cannot interfere with their clan rituals." Hiruzen told the man as he stared straight at him.

"Rituals indeed!" Danzo said, his voice slightly raised. "They are preparing for a coup d'état."

"A coup d'état?" a few people in the room gasped.

"What's a coup d'état?" asked Naruto.

The question was recieved by Nara Shikaku, " A coup d'état is an illegal seizure of power by a rebel group or... military."

"But, why do they think they are doing a coup?" Ino asked .

"Political stuff happens. I would say you are too young but.. I think it's going to be shown anyway so let's just watch."

Hiruzen said with a stone-face and stern tone "And the one to nip it in the bud is-" he was interrupted by the arrival of a young boy with black hair and blazing red eyes.

"Shisui." Two people said barely above a whisper.

"I don't like where this is going." Shisui said while watching the show unfold.

"Shisui!" The Hokage yelled out. Danzo turned to take a look at the newest addition, "Uchiha Shisui?"

Shisui makes no small talk and instead dives straight into business, he kneeled down as a sign of respect and stated, "I'm going to make Fugaku think about co-existence with the village."

"I don't think that controlling only Fukagu will put an end to the Uchiha's dissatisfaction." Danzo said his thoughts out loud.

Shisui shifted in his seat, feeling eyes on him.

"Controlling me?" Fugaku repeated burning holes in his head with his stare.

"I-I don't know what they are talking about! It hasn't happened yet...." that was enough for the others to turn back to the screen again.

It has not yet happened but it's not gonna be too far into the future.

No doubt, they were thinking about what could have possibly happened. But few knew that it was already happening, the Uchihas and the Council had been tense since the start and it didn't seem to get better in the future from what the clip suggested.

'Maybe this viewing thing will make them see what could be prevented if they were just a little more of a better human...' he hoped as he watched the show.

Shisui then claimed, "I will use my Kotaomatsukami."

"Kotaomatsukami?" asked Sasuke.

The young Uchiha didn't know what it was, but his family present here seemed to do so and so he felt out of the loop. Why do they keep doing this?

"It's a power of the Mangekyo Sharingan. With it, you can cast a powerful yet subtle genjutsu on your target, effectively manipulating them and fooling them into thinking that they had free will, when they did not." answered Fugaku as he stared at Shisui thoughtfully.

"Mangekyo?" Sasuke had questioned further.

"Why don't you ask Shisui?" his father said in a voice that he could only describe as disappointment, in him or in the older guy he didn't know. "He's not that much older in the video, he must have gotten it by now."

Sasuke turned to Shisi with curiosity, "Well, the Mangekyo is a type of sharingan that not everyone with the sharingan has, or can get. It's an advanced form of sharingan."

Sasuke nodded at that, he could understand it... but why was Shisui looking gloomy when saying that? Shouldn't he be proud of it?

And why was his father looking at Shisui like he would kill him in the future? He didn't, as far as he knew and he had eyes, he could see that he didn't.

"Your visual jutsu" Danzo was about to talk further but Hiruzen interrupted him, "He will have no clue that Shisui is controlling his actions. He will believe that his words are his own." After the explanation of the ability, he turned serious.

Fugaku tightened his grip on the fabric of his cloth.

"No. If the Uchiha will change, then we of the Leaf must change too. Let us improve our relations with the Uchiha."

Fugaku had eased his grip. The Leaf would change? A sacrifice of him for the clan is not something he would shy away from. He would gladly give his life for his clan... and for the Leaf too. If the village would change after he is controlled, then maybe it isn't that bad...

"That is my hope." confirmed Shisui and was dismissed with the last words, "I'm counting on you, Shisui."

The scene then changes again to a young boy, Uchiha Itachi leaning against a huge boulder wearing his Anbu uniform.

"Big Brother!" Sasuke pointed out when the guy came into view. Itachi just smiled at Sasuke's enthusiasm while Shisui was giving him a sideye.

'He's late.' His thought could be heard.

"Late, who?" Naruto wonderd out loud..

"Shisui, probably." Ayako said without a doubt. "Something must have happened to him, he usually isn't late."

Naruto nodded in understanding.

The view of the setting sun and the Uchiha head and his wife come into view, "Itachi isn't coming, is he?" The black haired woman worriedly asks her husband.

The scene is dark again, only to light back on with Danzo and Shisui at a place that was void of another person.

"Oh no.." a few people who were expressive groaned at the scene in apprehensiveness.

"Why? What's wrong?" Kiba asked as Akamaru barked at their reactions.

"Danzo." Tsume responded.

"Danzo?" Kiba repeated wondering if he was just dumb.

"She means to say that Danzo does not have a good reputation amongst us." Shikaku took over. "He isn't very people-friendly and also shady."

"What is it, Lord Danzo?" Shisui asked. "It's almost time for the assembly to start."

The man in question only said, "Even if Lord Third is satisfied, the distrust among the Leaf will not go away."

"This cannot be happening." Jiraiya said out loud as he sensed where this was heading.

Shisui responded, voice small with only a spark of hope, "I realize that. But in time-" he was cut off. "Even if you use your Visual jutsu on Fugaku to get the clan to co-operate, what if the village doesn't change?" he asked hoping to have weakened the boy infront of him.

Instead, Shisui responded without even a hint of detectable doubt in his voice, "Lord Hokage has promised to make it change."

"Thank you for your trust." the Hokage said, trying to lighten the lighten up mood.

"Anytime." Shisui mumbled back. The happenings on the screen was not something he liked. It was taking a turn for the worse and they all knew it.

The old crooked man further put out, "When the time comes, will you use your Kotaomatsukami on me too?" he asked as the screen closed up on his face. "Besides, someone who's always suspicious like me will never change. What will you do then?"

Out of nowhere, Danzo advanced on Shisui, "Your Sharingan... shall be in my safekeeping!"

It was a creepy moment for sure, the air was thick and they all held their breaths.

"Sorry." Shisui managed to say as he put the man under a Genjutsu. "It's only genjutsu... You'll snap out of it shortly." he told the entranced body.

Shisui breathed out an air of relief. Thank goodness, his eye was still safe.

Without warning, Danzo appeared out of nowhere and snatched Shisui's eye from his socket. Danzo was then showed on the screen without any bandage covering his eye like it always did, what was surprising was the sharingan present in his right eye.

"The Sharingan!?" Fugaku lost his cool.

"How does he have the Sharingan?" He stared at the Hokage with piercing eyes.

Eye thievery was always out of limits. Yes, we could be of the same village and all but stealing a clan member's eyes? No one that is not an Uchiha should have the Sharingan. The only exception was Kakashi but that was because he was given it by Obito.

The Hyuga head starred at the Hokage blankly, with a look in his eyes that said, 'Are you...?'

The Byakugan was a dojutsu on par with the Sharingan. If something like this could happen to the Sharingan then the Byakugan was not out of the question, what if the same thing happened to us?

The Hyuga and the Uchiha had similar morals and rules in their clan, and the both of them were highly proud of their visual dojustu, something like this happening made him sick.

The two clan heads would never lose their cool, but this was not it.

Most of the eyes were on the Hokage, he slowly answered, "I do not know."

"Bullshit!" Fugaku accused, "He's your friend. You take his side at every meeting, you should have known about this." He paused as if something had just clicked, "Or... did you know... but didn't tell others because you were doing it with him?"

It was a huge accusation.

An authoritative voice said, "Uchiha-sama, the Hokage would not do something like this. And even if he did, we would know about it now. Do not cross your boundaries. It's still the Hokage you're talking to."

"Water Style! Raging waves!" voices collectively rang out directing their attacks at Shisui. He quickly send a fireball at them and used the produced mist that was clouding their eyes as a chance to escape.

"Thank goodness." Exhaled Ayako.

He wasn't dying, thankfully.

But she could see it. Shisui giving Itachi his eye, a crow falling down a waterfal-

"Ayako?" She snapped back when she heard the concerned voice from Shisui and only then she realized that she was out of breath and a drop slipped down her face.

"It's a teleportation jutsu." Danzo cursed and commanded, "Go after him!"

The scene shows Itachi again, he is still waiting for Shisui by the boulder with his mask on.

The sun was down but he stood his ground.

"Come with me." Shisui's voice could be heard calling for Itachi.

Itachi was leaning forward from his seat little by little with the pressure his brain was in. This would not have been that far off in the future. The tensions between the clan and the Hokage had already started.

The scene quickly changed to a cliff where the two boys were, giving the viewers no time to process what just happened.

"A cli-" a sharp intake of breath could be heard.
"He's going to.." Kakashi trailed off.

"If civil war breaks out in the Leaf Village, other nations are sure to attack... which means a full-scale war." Shisui spoked as he looked at Itachi with an unidentifiable smile, "It's too late to stop the coup d'état by the Uchiha. I was going to try to stop the coup d'etat with Kotaomatsukami, but... Lord Danzo took my right eye... He doesn't trust me. I suspect he'll come after my left eye as well."

"He is a monster." Itachi hadn't spoken in a while but now that he did, it was fully of distaste, anger and hurt.

Blood ran down his right eye but he showed no sign of pain.

The young kids who were still not shown the full scale life of a shinobi were gasping, horrified at the sight.

He continued, "So, I want to give it to you before he has a chance." he then plucked out his own eye out of his socket.

"Did he just-" Ino said surprised.
"I think he did." Sakura ended.

"Does it not hurt?"Choji asked munching on his chips, if he was told to pluck his eyes out, he wasn't sure if he would he able to do so.

Shisui only shrugged at the question, he hadn't done it.......yet.

"You're the only one person I can count on, my best friend." he then extended his arm that was also covered in blood from his eye.

"Please protect this village... and the honor of the Uchiha name."

A crow landed on his hand, it pecked the eye then turned into feathers taking with it the eye.

"That was kind of cool."
"Right?" Shisui engaged.

"What will you do now?" Itachi asked, knowing that there was no turning back now.

The future might not be set in stoned, but it sure did seem like it.

"If I die, several circumstances will change. I've left behind a note already..." he said void of sight.

"A note.." Ayako scoffed.

What's a note gonna do? Others would see it and be like, wowww... let's not have his sacrifice be in vain? That was not shinobi-like at all.

Shisui took a few steps back slowly, noticing this Itachi voiced his protest only to be shut down by Shisui in a voice that said 'It's my dying wish'.

"Don't stop me, Itachi." he said as he intentionally fell off the cliff backwards.

"Shisui!"Itachi's hand went to grab Shisui's and stop him but their hands never met, narrowly missing each other.

"Make it reach!!" Ino yelled out loud.
"He's falling!!"

The screen went dark with a Mangekyou Sharingan being formed.

"The Mangekyo." Fugaku tiredly pointed out.

"So, that's the Mangekyo." Sasuke nodded. Until something made his stop, Wait, the Mangekyo- Shisui died- no it can't be...

"That was something." Shikaku said as the tension slowly started to ease down.

"It was indeed." Jiraiya grumbled as he stared at the two clan heads giving his teacher a doubting stare.

"People won't trust him much after this." Inoichi said as he joined in. "I know I don't."

"He's still the Hokage though." Jiraiya voiced out, "And it's not fully right to blame him for something that his friend did."

"The main point is if he knew this was happening or not."Shikaku sighed.

"But Fugaku made a few strong points, none of them were lies." Tsume said as she stared at the kids.

"But seeing this was good, right? Changing the future. That was the intention wasn't it?" Choja said trying to make them see something positive about the whole thing.

They all looked at the kids and made a mental promise to not let them go through this again.

"Shisui, how do you feel?" Ayako asked as she handed the boy a glass of water.

"As good as anyone else when they find out they are about to die."

"Stop trying to be funny, and just spit it out." Itachi reprimanded.

"It feels weird," Shisui finally spoke, "It doesn't look too far into the future either." He mumbled with a downcast gaze.

"You know it won't happen this time."

Itachi tried to act like he wasn't hurt about this but he was. Shisui was close to him, his cousin, a friend, like a brother. He felt honored that Shisui trusted him that much but at the same time, he felt like his future self would fail him.

"There's no point worrying." Ayako told him. "Everyone saw it, they won't let it happen this time around." She turned to the other groups of people chatting about themselves. "Hopefully.."
