Liam's Pov

A few days.

That's how long Tankhun and I were in the hospital.

I didn't really understand why I had to stay in the hospital when all I suffered was a blow to the head because of a rock.

But the doctor said it was important for me to stay for a few days due to being dehydrated, having eaten nothing for the time I was in the woods, and a few cuts I had gotten.

I tried protesting that I was fine and didn't need to stay that long but the doctor refused.

Porsche and Chay refused for me to be let out unless I was given the all clear from the doctor.

Basically, it was three against one meaning I had no choice but to obey.

I wasn't the only one that was annoyed with having to stay at the hospital.

Tankhun was too.

From what Porsche and Pravat have told me Tankhun has tried to persuade the doctor to let him go by telling the doctors that he was completely fine and recovered completely.

But the doctor wasn't buying it.

And neither were Kinn and Kim.

Especially when he had been shot and needed as much medical attention as possible to make sure that he doesn't infect his wound or something like that.

Hell, Tankhun tried getting his bodyguards to get him out of here.

But, surprisingly, they refused.

They too were worried for their boss and didn't want him leaving until he was 100% recovered.

And the fact that they were given orders from both Kinn and Kim to make sure their stubborn brother never steps foot out of this hospital.

So, just like me, we were stuck in our hospital rooms.

And we were both annoyed and wanted nothing more than to leave and just head back home.

And, luckily, our wishes were answered.

Because after the fourth day of us being stuck in the hospital we were finally able to leave.

The doctor looked through the two of us carefully and after talking to our respective brothers he gave us the all clear, meaning we were discharged.

Meaning we could finally head back home.

And to say we were ecstatic would be an understatement.

Kinn signed Tankhun's discharge papers and Porsche did the same for me and after they were done they helped us get ready so we could leave.

Kinn and Kim got some clothes for Tankhun and when he was finished getting changed they helped him leave and into the car that was waiting for them.

Porsche and Chay did the same with me and together we left the hospital.

As soon as I was outside I smiled in relief and closed my eyes as the fresh breeze hit my face.

Man, it feels great to be out of that hospital.

My brothers helped me into the car that was waiting for us.

Kinn got two cars so that he and his brothers were in one while my brothers and I were in the other.

After we got inside the car we drove off and like that we were on our way back to the compound.

I had to admit that I was a little nervous, considering I was in the hospital for the past few days.

I wonder if Tankhun is feeling the same way I am.

I wonder what is going to happen when we arrive.

And I wonder if Korn is at least going to be there to greet Tankhun considering he never once visited him during the time he was in the hospital.

It was always Kinn and Kim visiting him as well as his main bodyguards.

Hell, Vegas and Macau showed up a few times and they don't even like Tankhun that much.

But Korn never once showed up.

He only had a gift basket sent to Tankhun's room, from what Pravat told me, as well as a get well card.

I swear to god I wanted to punch him. I still do.

During the car ride my brothers and I were silent. It wasn't awkward, it was a comfortable silence.

Which I was glad for since I didn't really want to talk nor did I really know what to talk about.

Porsche just stared out the window, occasionally glancing at me a few times, while Chay was texting Macau on his phone.

Those two have gotten really close which I'm glad about.

But something tells me they're getting closer as something more than friends.

Which I honestly didn't expect since I thought Chay would focus his attention on Kim, especially when he's WIK.

But, at least from what Porsche told me, Chay didn't really give much of a reaction when he saw Kim.

He was happy to see his idol and even asked for an autograph but that was it. Nothing else.

I sighed and shook my head, deciding to worry about that another time.

But before I could put my attention on something else I felt the car beginning to stop meaning that we were here.

The driver stopped the car after parking in the front of the compound.

Porsche nodded at the driver before he opened the car door and looked at Chay and I.

"Come on, nongs. We arrived" Porsche told us.

Chay and I nodded and watched as he got out of the car first before we got out ourselves.

When my feet made contact with the ground Chay closed the car door before he and Porsche positioned themselves at my sides.

I scanned the place and saw bodyguards outside lined together, like always.

I heard another car pull up and turned around and saw the car stopping behind the car my brothers and I were in.

The door opened and Kinn came out along with Kim.

Together they helped Tankhun out of the car, making sure he didn't hurt himself, before closing the car door.

Tankhun looked annoyed as his brothers held onto his arms but said nothing, already knowing that no matter what he says they aren't going to listen.

His head turned to my direction and our eyes met.

His lips formed into a small soft smile and I found myself returning the gesture.

However, our small moment was interrupted when we heard footsteps approaching.

All of us turned around and we saw Korn, who was being accompanied by Chan, walking towards us.

Porsche, along with the other bodyguards, straightened at the sight of Korn.

Kinn and Kim didn't really react to their father and neither did Tankhun.

I sighed before straightening myself, I was still a bodyguard after all and had to show respect, while Chay held my arm.

When he was close he stopped walking and Chan did the same too.

His eyes flickered to me for a second before turning to his sons.

He stepped closer to them, his eyes never leaving Tankhun, while Chan stood slightly behind him. 

"Tankhun, my son, how are you? Was your trip here comfortable?" Korn asked.

Tankhun stared at him with a neutral expression.

It's pretty clear he's not happy with him since he never once came over to visit him and just sent a freaking gift basket and a card.

Still, he swallowed down whatever he wanted to say and simply nodded at his father.

Korn smiled at him and placed his hand on his shoulder, giving it a squeeze, before pulling it back.

He then turned to me and took a few steps forward.

"Liam" Korn said.

"Mr. Korn" I politely said, bowing as I did so.

"I hope you're doing well too" Korn said.

"I am, thank you" I nodded.

"That's good" Korn hummed.

He glanced between Porsche and Chay before turning his attention to Tankhun and I.

"Why don't you two head to your rooms and get some rest? You both need it" Korn suggested.

"Agreed" Kinn and Porsche said in unison.

They looked at each other when that happened and stared at each other for a few seconds before quickly looking away.

But if you were to look closely you can see a hint of blush appearing on Kinn's face.

And Porsche's lips twitch upwards slightly.

"Kinn, you and Kim take your brother to his room. Porsche and Chay can take Liam to his" Korn said.

"Yes, papa" Kinn muttered while Kim just nodded.

While still holding his arms they guided Tankhun inside so they can lead him to his room.

Porsche and Chay followed what they did and guided me inside before leading me to my room.

Before we were out of each others sight Tankhun and I shot each other small smiles before heading our separate ways.

I sighed under my breath and just let my brothers lead me away to my room.

Now you may be wondering why Tankhun and I aren't together, like why aren't we holding hands and all.

And the reason being that we haven't made our relationship known to everyone.

After we made it official we discussed a few things and we decided that it was best if we kept our relationship a secret.

We don't want anyone knowing that we're boyfriends, especially not Tankhun's brothers or his father.

The reason being is that neither of us are ready to tell them since we're a little worried about how they'll react. It could be good or bad, who knows.

And the other reason being that Tankhun is literally Korn's oldest, heir or not, and I'm just a bodyguard.

A bodyguard that shouldn't be in a relationship with someone as important as Tankhun.

Tankhun is scared that I could be punished or worse fired because we're dating and he doesn't want that. Neither do I.

Which is why we came to a decision to keep our relationship a secret.

We don't know how long we're gonna keep it a secret but we will keep it a secret until we're ready to tell everyone.

In short, we're basically doing what Kinn and Porsche did in the real show.

And I'm honestly a little worried about what might happen because of it.
