THREE;

"JASPER your next appointment starts in ten minutes."

JASPER sighed, running a hand through his long hair. It's been a couple of days since his incident with Axel. His neck had healed mostly and the rest was covered with concealer.

He remembered asking about the cameras in that room, but the male, Gavin, who watches the cameras said that they were all working.

Jasper just nodded softly, apologizing to him, before letting the male return back to his work.

What Jasper didn't catch, was Gavin's eyes darting towards his neck several times during the conversation.

"Thank you, Lacey, I'll be there soon."

She delivered a soft smile, "Maybe after this one, I can treat you to lunch before you disappear again." She teased, sending a playful wink as she left the office.

Jasper sighed to himself, recalling why he couldn't make it to lunch, and opened the patient folder. He wanted to read through it one more time, before heading into the lion's den.

HARPER PAIN

• Drinks blood
— Will do anything for a sip.

WARNING DO NOT SHOW YOUR NECK OR ANY SCARS.
HE HAS SHARPENED FANGS TO EASILY DRINK FROM YOU.

REMOVED FROM WHELMSTER FOR ATTACKING THE THERAPIST.

Jasper didn't get paid enough for this.

He groaned, closing the folder getting up from his desk, and heading over to the small emergency clothing he had stashed a while back when he spilled coffee on his white dress shirt.

The doctor noticed a black turtleneck he kept around because Lacey had a habit of inviting him to dinner after work and he didn't want to ruin any more of his white dress tops.

Jasper ditched his white button-down and placed on the heavy black turtleneck, that fit his body nicely. When he walked out of the office and down the corridor. He cleared his mind of any negative thoughts that still lingered as he did not want them to mess up his mindset when talking to the patient.

He reminded himself this was a completely different person and situation and it wasn't fair of him to judge off of someone else's actions.

Lacey heard his footsteps, glancing up from the computer, her eyes instantly dropping to Jasper's new shirt. "Woah, you're going to wear that to meet a patient?" She asked, with a tone that Jasper couldn't truly detect so he just shrugged it off.

"Yeah, it's just for my safety." He explained, pulling at the fabric around his neck. "Although I feel so awkward wearing this."

She nodded her head, smiling, "You look really good in that shirt." She complimented, "It suits you."

Jasper smiled at the statement, "Really? Do you think so? I guess I'll wear it to our lunch date then." He smiled back before heading down the hallway and going upstairs.

The same two guards stood by the door of Jasper's new patient, one nodded at Jasper to greet the male the other one grabbed his keycard and swiped it against the lock, allowing Jasper to go in.

The room was a complete copy of Axel's, there were a few different books and he had different colored bedsheets.

The bare rooms usually meant they were new patients and hadn't been given access to decorations or high-risk patients that weren't trusted with any. The facility would eventually allow patients to add in more things when they were shown to be less of a threat of risk to the workers or themselves.

When the door completely closed, Jasper could now feel how warm the room was compared to the hallway. It wasn't extremely hot, but it felt like the air conditioner hadn't been turned on since the patient got here.

A male was lying on the bed, facing the ceiling. He was thumping his fingers against his chest and he hummed an unfamiliar tone.

His head perked up when he heard the doctor speak, "Hello, I'm Jasper Elms, your new doctor."

The male happily sat up. "Finally! I can get some blood!" He exclaimed.

Jasper shuddered at the comment. "Um, no. I'm just your new doctor."

"Wow really? Maybe say that one more time, I don't think I got it yet," Harper teased, getting up and walking to the table, sitting down, and tapping his fingers.

Jasper mimics the action, also sitting in the chair, pulling out his notebook and pencil. "How did you sleep?" Jasper asked, looking at the male and taking in his appearance.

The male had short brown hair, that was styled down on his forehead, soft brown eyes, and fluffy browns. His nose was thin and narrow, yet fit his face perfectly. He had a dimple on his left side that was very faint and small freckles that trailed off on his face. His lips were pouty and full, making him look as if he was a model in another lifetime.

There were many scattered tattoos throughout his body, none of which had any color, and all seemed to match this dark aura that he gave off.

"No one here seems to know how to turn on the air conditioning for my room, how do you think I slept?" Harper retorted, his eyes darting to the pencil, a small smirk covered his face which was unseen by Jasper.

Jasper nodded his head "I'll ask around about that." Jasper said, taking note of the air conditioning problem, which was confusing, considering he remembered just how cold Axel's room was and it was only a few rooms away.

Harper raised a brow at the male. "You're making a note to ask?"

"Oh yeah, I feel bad that your first couple of days you had to be in this uncomfortable room." Jasper explained, "If I knew how to fix it myself I would look at it, but I would be of no help."

The comment made Harper let out a small airy laugh, "Weird. You're taking the time to help my problem."

"It's important that you know what you say does matter and hold some value," Jasper explained, taking a couple more notes.

"So if I said I wanted to suck you dry, would that matter?" Harper asked, making Jasper almost choke at the sudden statement. He stopped writing and looked up to meet Harper's cold brown eyes.

"U - Um, it - it would, I guess?" Jasper said, wanting to prevent the conversation. "Although it's not appropriate and I don't recommend saying those things to your doctor."

Harper licked his lips and looked Jasper up and down. "Hmm," Harper hummed. "Whatever you say, Doc." He said, his voice getting lower.

Jasper felt his body temperature rise from the obscene actions his patient was doing making it unbearably hot for him in the turtleneck. Due to the lack of air conditioning, the younger decided it would be best to roll up his sleeves.

"Oh Doc, you got a nasty scar there," Harper said, his tongue rolling over his bottom lip. The look in his eyes turned to that of hunger.

"Ah," Jasper said, quickly covering the scar. The male had completely forgotten about the scar on his forearm he had gotten some years back after getting into a drunk bar fight and having a bottle thrown at him. It was a really bad scar and it took a while to even heal.

"Did it bleed badly? Looks like it needed stitches. All that blood wasted what a shame." Harper said, getting up, and walking over to Jasper.

The doctor grabbed the pencil, holding it close to his chest as he watched Harper stop in front of him.

"G - Go away," Jasper said, trying to back away, but Harper placed both hands on either side of the chair boxing the male in, leaving him unable to get away.

His hands then grabbed onto Jasper's thighs, holding his legs still. He dropped to his knees, pushing Jasper's legs apart, his tongue darting out as he looked at the male's thick thighs. "I can't wait to get a taste of you." That's when Jasper saw it.

Harper did have fangs. They were made from his canines and looked as if he got them done professionally. The teeth looked sharp and dangerous. He was now afraid of letting Harper near any part of his skin, as his teeth could easily stab him.

Jasper took the pencil and brought his hand down, trying to stab Harper or at least hurt the male enough to where he would back off and the doctor could escape.

As he got closer to stabbing the other, he closed his eyes not wanting to witness himself harming a patient.

He heard a chuckle as the pencil was snatched out of his hand and now pressed into his thigh. It took him a minute to realize what was going on as it all happened so fast.

Once his brain caught up, Jasper screamed as the lead dug into his skin, crimson fluid now flowing through his pants. Harper smirked, "Finally a decent meal."
