ONE;
"JASPER we need to talk."
JASPER looked up to see Lacey standing by his door. He hastily closed the folder of his most recent successful patient recovery. He was very proud of himself for helping guide the troubled woman out of the asylum.
He turned his full attention to the said girl, who smiled softly.
Lacey was a beautiful girl, she had brown doe eyes, pouty lips, and straight blonde hair that was usually pulled back, showing her round cheeky face with her v-shaped chin. She wore a beautiful lavender color shirt, a soft white skirt and white flats. She always wore light and bright colors, that gave her a soft, feminine look even.
A lot of people in the workplace had eyes on her, it was no wonder why, she was gorgeous. Yet, her eyes fell on Jasper, it was no question that she had grown quite a crush on the young doctor and was always trying to find ways to spend time together.
He waved her inside his office, she walked over and sat in the chair on the other side of his desk, folders pressed against her chest. "What's that?" Jasper asked, raising a brow, and eyeing the folders.
"We have new patients." She said Jasper held a hand out, and she gladly presented them to Jasper's open hand, he grabbed them, opening one.
"These aren't my normal patients," Jasper confessed as he read over one of the files. Lacey nodded her head in agreement. "Yes I know, Mark was given those, but he was already booked up and couldn't take on any new patients, without being completely overworked. Since you just got finished with one, the head doctor wanted me to ask you."
"I usually work with depression and anxiety patients. This would be a whole new ballpark for me." Jasper explained, shutting the folder and positioning them all down on his desk.
"Yes, I know, but your patients always get better! You are good at your job and we know it's risky to put you out of your element, but Mark entrusted you the most out of everyone else. You seem to be the only one here who truly cares!" She smiled, "After some discussion, they wanted you to do it. At least try and if you realize this isn't what you wanted, you can back out. Plus you went to school for this."
This was what Jasper spent time learning, right? It would be something new to him, but he was taught to deal with people in different ways. He didn't spend all the time in school to only help certain people, right?
He nodded his head, "All alright, you sold me, I'll try."
She smiled widely, "Thank you, Mark will be so happy. Plus, if you need help or advice you can always just ask him." She said, clasping her hands together, "Read over the files, get to know them, understand them, and whenever you're ready, let me know and we can start working on a schedule!" She smiled, standing up and fitting her skirt. "This isn't your element, so make it." She winked, before exiting and closing the door behind her.
Jasper sighed, glancing down at the folders below him, most of the folders held the patients' track records. What mental illness they have, where they have been treated, and what happened there.
The male grabbed one of the folders and began to read into the file.

— REMOVED FROM WHELMSTER FOR ALMOST KILLING TWO GUARDS AFTER THEY TOLD THE DOCTOR HIS TIME WAS UP.
Jasper shivers after reading that, with other patients, he had to worry about triggering them, with Axel, he had to worry about a male overpowering him and harming him.
He despised himself for agreeing to this, but deep down he wanted to help as much as he could. Jasper wanted nothing more than to save people from themselves and this was one of the ways he could do so. Cases like this always interested him, even when he was in school, he couldn't help it. He always researched these types of people, he always wondered how their brains worked.
When he applied for the job, he originally wanted to work with those patients, but Mark was already working with them and he seemed to be the best at it. So they offered Jasper to deal with the depression and anxiety department, which he gladly accepted, although disappointed, he enjoyed working with his patients. There was something about helping guide people to a better mindset and view of his life that warmed his heart and healed his soul.
Maybe he was too nice, too caring, but he didn't think about how that could ever affect him. He was always more gentle and soft, growing up he was bullied for it, but he never let it stop him from helping others up when they fell and asking if they were okay.
He was proud of himself for being the softness in the harsh world, always forgiving others, and being the best of friends to anyone who needed it. Maybe that's why his patients adored him, he showed them that there is good in the world and people aren't all evil and messed up.
Jasper had gotten up from his chair and left his office, he walked down the hallway, heading to Lacey's desk. She smiled widely upon seeing Jasper, fixing her shirt a bit. "Oh hey, you already wanted to start that schedule?" She asked, brushing some of her stray hair behind her ear.
"I do." Jasper said, "Make it Axel, I read his folder and would love to meet him."
Lacey nodded, typing away on her computer, "Great, there's room right now! You have to be ready in five minutes."
Jasper choked, "Five minutes?" He exclaimed. "I thought we were working on a schedule and not an actual appointment!'
Lacey laughed a bit, "You didn't say when, it's not too bad upstairs just a bit more secure. You might have to wait for the guards before entering the room, but you'll do fine! Meet me afterward and I'll treat you to lunch!" She smiled, waving him off as he dashed down the long corridor. Jasper made sure to flip her off before heading out of sight.
He made it upstairs, which was new to him since all of his patients were downstairs. Jasper knew that the upstairs rooms were set up differently due to the higher risk of patients.
He looked around and caught sight of two guards by one of the doors, as he walked by the row and rows of pure metal doors, he couldn't hear a sound from any of them. It was very alarming considering that if a patient tried to harm themselves, hearing them would be the best option to save them quickly.
He went to the door marked, 231.
The guard looked at Jasper, "You the doctor?" One guard asked making Jasper nod.
"I've never seen you up here before," the other noted.
"Oh, I'm new to this area, I usually work downstairs," Jasper admitted, looking down, before remembering who he was dealing with behind the metal door and quickly looking back up with confidence.
"Ah, okay." The guard said, swiping his card and unlocking the door.
"Okay, let me explain this, once the door closes, we won't be able to hear you, for patient confidentiality, and once you leave the door automatically locks. There are cameras in every room in case something does happen, someone is watching the cameras and we will be alerted right away if something does happen." The guard explained.
Jasper nodded his head grabbing the handle and opening the door before stepping into the oddly cold room that sent a wave of shivers down his spine. The door made a loud bang as it closed behind the doctor, making him jump a bit.
Axel was lying down on his bed, when he heard the loud noise he simply turned his head, only to see a very gorgeous male standing there. He was wearing a white coat, which informed Axel that he was his new doctor.
The doctor had a small frame and was very timid, which made Axel sit up a bit to get a clearer look at him.
"Oh? They brought me a toy." Axel said, smirking at the male.
