After Sasuke and Sakura are discharged form the hospital, Team 7 began training like crazy without Kakashi's help because that would be cheating. They take turns teaching the other something that they don't know. Sasuke is teaching Naruto how to break out of a genjutsu while Naruto teaches Sasuke, Sai and Sakura  the Shadow clone jutsu. Sakura is teaching Sai healing while he teaches her and Naruto how to make drawings come to life from just ink. Sasuke teaches Sai how to perform the fireball jutsu while Sai teaches him how to draw and make them come alive. Sakura teaches Naruto and Sasuke healing.

"I'm so proud....they are growing up so fast..." said Kakashi as he wiped tears that are overflowing from his eyes. Minato walks towards him and gave him a pat on the back. Rin and Obito joins them. "Yeah, kakabaka! You taught them well!" Said Obito. Kakashi just smiles. He just hopes that his students won't leave him like his father did by committing suicide when he was 12 years old. He smiled through his mask. Rin pats him on the back and they pushed him towards his team. After that, they left.

He was surprised that they did that. His genin team watched him scramble towards them in confusion. "What are you doing here, sensei?" Asked Sasuke getting ready to create another clone to practice. "Aa...I was checking up on you guys and seeing how you're fairing..." said Kakashi awkwardly. Sakura is in deep thought. 'If Sai is here....who will he be fighting in the preliminaries?' She thought as she scrunches her eyebrows together. Naruto was busy healing the fish while Sai is busy trying to create a fire dragon. Kakashi looks between them and smiled.
They have been training from late afternoon until dinner time.

"Good job." Said Kakashi feeling proud. Sasuke just grunts in response. The tip of his ears turned pink since he's not used to compliments. His eyes turned sad. He never even received any compliments since he was born. His father always taunt him and when he did something great, he would break him down once again. He hugs himself. He wishes that his father would be more like Kakashi. He wishes for him to stop comparing him to Itachi. Kakashi notices this and decides to make a plan.

"Hey! Why don't we arrange a team meeting? We still haven't introduced ourselves. Plus, we still have 3 days." He said. Little did he know, he would be saving Sasuke from loneliness. Sakura agreed immediately and so do Naruto. Sai just nodded. And it's decided, they all left except Sakura who excused herself a bit to train some more.

"I know you're there, Gaara. So come out." Said Sakura. He did come out. He jumped down from the tree he was on. "Why are you here?" She asked. "I think we didn't properly introduced herself. So, my name is Sabaku Gaara. What is yours?" He asked as he smiles. He was trying his best to act as friendly as possible. Sakura laughs. Gaara's eyes twitched. "What are you trying to do?" She asks between laughing. "I'm trying my best to be your...........a........ acquaintance." He lied. "You're lying. You're still trying to kill me, huh?" Said Sakura as she crosses her arm. "Maybe....I am not sure wether or not to kill you...though I did find your company more pleasant than my siblings." He admitted while fidgeting with his sand. Sakura is surprised to see this side of Gaara. Sure she had been friends with the Kazekage in her timeline but she has never seen him play with his sand before!

"Maa....what are you two talking about?" Asked Kakashi as he walks towards them. Gaara's hand is extended. He's getting ready to attack him. "Nah, I'm not here to fight. I'm just confused as to why you wanted to talk to my cute student." Threatened Kakashi with a hint of teasing in his tone. Gaara just stared at him, amused. He glances at Sakura. His eyes asking whether he's dangerous or not. Sakura responded no through her eyes. "I was just contemplating whether I should kill her team or not." He admitted feeling ashamed.

Kakashi just smirks. "Why don't you join us for our team dinner? The boys are waiting in that bush over there glaring at you right now." Said Kakashi. "You blew our cover, Dobe!" "Did not!" "You did, dickless." Gaara sweat-dropped. 'It's the idiots.' He thought. "I will join...this team dinner...after all, I am curious to what this...thing is." Said Gaara as his imaginary eye brows knitted each other. "Damn, why don't you have eye brows, Dattebayo?" Naruto asked. Sasuke facepalmed himself. Sai just sighs.

"I....don't know....I think it's genetics..." he replied.

"Anyways! Let's go to Sasuke's house." Said Kakashi. They walked towards his house. Gaara grabbed Sakura's hand and they disappeared with the sand exploding behind them. The boys looks at the same spot that Sakura and Gaara once stood and glared. "Maa...let's do that too." Kakashi grabbed them in a hug and disappeared leaving smoke behind.

Gaara and Sakura arrived first. They sat down on Gaara's sand who transformed itself into chairs. After a few minutes or so, Kakashi and the others arrived. Sasuke and Sai landed on their feet while Naruto's face landed on the ground. Sakura got up from the sand chair and healed Naruto's scratches. Gaara stares once again at Team 7. He is surprised that this is how they normally act. Sasuke began to feel nervous.

He knocked on the big ass doors of the Uchiha clan. A maid came to answer the door. "Oh, Sasuke-sama! Welcome back. Is this your team?" Greeted the maid. "Yes, Misaka-San. We are going to have a team dinner here." Said Sasuke politely. Misaka nodded and led them inside. "Sasu-chan, you're back!" Exclaimed a very beautiful woman. 'She must be the matriarch.' They all thought and were correct.

"Welcome. I am Uchiha Mikoto. This must be a team dinner! Let me go prepare more food." Said Mikoto as she walked towards the kitchen. Itachi and Shisui was talking in the living room. Fugaku is in his office. Sasuke leads them towards the living room. Itachi greeted them. Shisui walked up to Sakura and pats her head. "Hey, firefly! Here for a team dinner? Oh...who's this guy?" He said as he grins. "This is Sabaku Gaara. And I know what to name your technique now!" Shisui feels her happiness and smiled. "Tell me all about it later." He said as he proceeds to pat Sasuke's head but failed. "Don't touch me, you imbecile human being." Nihilanth took over for a split second. "Haha! You're aggressive as always, Sasu-cakes." Said Shisui. He glances at Sakura and signaled for her to follow him.

She did. "Now, don't fight while I'm gone, alright?" She demanded. The boys nodded. "So.....what are we going to talk about?" Asked Naruto. "Likes, dislikes and dreams of the future." Sai automatically replied. Kakashi pats him. They're going to introduce themselves like they first met. Itachi crosses his arm. He smirks.

Shisui led them to a room that is labeled 'Talking Room'. Sakura sees Shisui look behind himself to check whether anyone is behind him. "This room has seals that are sound proof so no one will know what we're talking about." He said. His voice sounded desperate. She begins to worry. 

"What's wrong, Shisui-San?" Asked Sakura. "Call me 'Shisui-Kun' forever and I'll tell you~" he teased. "Fine. What is wrong, Shisui-kun?" She asked. Shisui's face reddened. "I didn't think you would actually do it, firefly. But I'll tell you. When Sasuke said 'Don't touch me, you imbecile human being.' I felt his chakra change...like someone took over...I need you to do me a favor and spy on his behavior and tell me all about it once the Chunin Exams are over. Can you do it, Firefly?" He requested while putting his hands on her shoulder.

She thinks for a moment. She did think that Sasuke's behavior is weird. She nods with determination. Shisui just laughs. She pouted. Shisui smirks and picked her up bridal style. He body-flickered her back to the living room.

"Oh, so you like ramen? What if there's no ramen? What would you do, Naruto-Kun?" Itachi asks playfully. He secretly likes teasing people. "R-Ramen will always exist in every single universe! I won't replace it with any other food, Dattebayo." He replied frustrated. Itachi's smirk widened.

Sasuke looks between them in jealousy. "Uh...I'm gonna go to my room now..." he said and went up to his room. Sasuke closed the door behind him. He's afraid of his father. He's afraid of what he's going to say to him. He begins to tremble. 'What should he think of me now that I'm so weak?' Is repeated inside his head over and over again. 'You're weak.' Nihilanth taunted. Sasuke begins to lose consciousness. Nihilanth took over his body. He smirks. He went back downstairs.

"Did I miss anything?" He asks while shoving his hands into his pockets. "Nothing much. Just Sai insulting Itachi." Kakashi answers. "Good." He said and sat down next to Itachi. Shisui appears in the room still holding Sakura bridal style. "Hey! We're back." Said Shisui as he grins and waves. Nihilanth now as Sasuke glares at Shisui. 'That man...he knows that I'm controlling Sasuke....I should get rid of him.' He thought. "Aa...you're back...you should've stayed there." He commented.

"Told ya didn't I?" Shisui whispered into Sakura's ear. She narrowed her eyes. "You're right." She said. She stared at Nihilanth and activated her black eyes that she didn't name yet. "Oh, you should call them Kuro*." Said Shisui. "Thanks, Shisui-Kun." She thanks him while smiling. Shisui rubbed the back of his neck and glares at 'Sasuke'. 

Kuro: Black.

She stared at Nihilanth with Mirai. Mirai is a doujutsu gifted to her by Inner as a cursed eye. Those eyes can see whether the person is lying or not. It can also give them bad luck. "Are you really Sasuke?" She asks. Everyone turned to look at her. "What do you mean, Ugly? He's Emo." Said Sai confused. "Answer me!" She goes closer. "Of course I am." Said Sasuke. They have switched. She deactivated Mirai and stared at him. She walked off. "What did you do to Sakura, Shisui?" Asked Itachi.

"Oh...nothing much...I'm just suspicious..." he replied while looking at Sasuke. Itachi raises his eyebrows. "It's a secret between me and Firefly!" He grins and disappears leaving small leaves behind. The leaves were covered in blood. Itachi notes that something is wrong because. If there's blood on the leaves, something is wrong. "Why is there blood on the leaves, Masky-sensei?" Asked Sai to Kakashi. "Something is wrong with him and Sakura. Sakura never leaves scratches on where she walked. Something happened when they were gone. And it's connected to Sasuke." He glances at Sasuke who looks to the side.

"What is wrong, Emo?" Asked Sai. "I....Uh....have someone....living inside my head..." he admits. Their eyes widened. Shisui reappeared with Sakura and grins. "I knew it!" He said grinning. Sakura sighs. "You should've told us sooner or later. Your demon is driving me crazy." She said while rubbing her temples together. "And, Shisui-Kun. Please stop grinning. You're blinding my eyes." Shisui stopped and he deflated. He looks at her with his special puppy eyes. "Fine....only this one time." She finished. "Wait...'Shisui-Kun'?" Gaara questioned.

Gaara laughs mentally because he sees the boys get angry. "Oh...about that....it's a secret between me and Fire-" he dodged a kunai that was sent his way. "Whoa there! Calm your tits, dude." He sees that Sai had thrown the kunai. "Next time, I will not miss." He replied while glaring at him.

"Haha...Uh....sure...? But there won't be a next time!" Said Shisui sadly. Sakura looks at him. She grabbed on his shirt and he looks back at her. He smiles and pats her on the head. It feels as if it's a goodbye from him. It is a goodbye but she never realized it. "We need to talk." She mouths towards him. He nodded and they both disappeared, leaving particles of fire behind.

"What do you mean by 'There won't be a next time'?" She asked feeling concern. "Aa...about that...I'm sorry. I know we haven't talked with each other that much but...I...I'm going to die a week from now," He admits. "But...please don't tell 'Tachi! I beg of you....I...I can't let him know that I'm leaving him." He added. "Who...who's going to kill you?" She asks. "....I can't tell you....HE won't allow me to." He continued. "No, I can't let you die on me...do you trust me, Shisui-Kun?" "Of course I do, Firefly! If I didn't, you wouldn't even know about my technique." She smirks.

"I have something to tell you." Said Sakura seriously. Shisui gulped. "I....come from the future..." she whispered. "W...what?!" He yelled confused. Sakura shushed him with her palm. "I come from the future...I have been chosen by Kami to fix everything." She replied feeling agitated. "Tell me one thing that I don't know." He challenged her. "You're going to die at the hands of-" she was cut off by Shisui. "Okay....that's enough....I...I believe you, Firefly." He said. "I think I have a name for your technique. Is Gekkou* fine?" She asked. "That's perfect!" Said Shisui as she lifts her up and spins her around like she's a toddler.

Gekkou: Moonlight, Moonbeam.

"Ahem...I never expect for you to be a pedophile, Shisui." Said a man with multiple scars on his face. Sakura recognizes him as Morino Ibiki, the head interrogator of T&I. "I'm not a pedophile! I lifters her up because I was so happy that she named one of my techniques." He reasoned. "Whatever. You're needed in T&I today." Said Ibiki as he tosses a scroll containing information on it. "Bye bye, firefly!" Said Shisui as he disappears in a flurry of leafs.

"Hey, kid? What business do you have with Shisui?" Asked-demanded-Ibiki. "He wants me to name one of his technique and I did." Replied Sakura without fear in her voice. 'She's not scared...I'm impressed. Kids her age are afraid of me.' She thought Ibiki with an amused look. "Whatever kid. I'm impressed that you didn't even tremble while talking to me." He complimented her. She just smiles at him in return for his compliment. She body-flickered back to the Uchiha's manor.

Ibiki stood at where he was feeling impressed.

"Dinner's ready!" Called Mikoto. Everyone gathered around the table including Fugaku. "Where's Sakura?" Asked Gaara to Kakashi who is reading literature. "She's going to be here in 20 seconds." He replied. Gaara looks confused as hell but kept quite.

20 seconds

"Tomatoes are better than Ramen, Dobe." Said Sasuke. "No way! Ramen is the foods of the gods, Dattebayo!" Naruto countered. "Will you please shut up, Emo and dickless? I am drawing." Said Sai as he hits them both on the head.

17 seconds

Gaara is playing with his sand. He's morphing it from one animal to another...except the Raccoon because if he did, Shukaku will take over his body.

11 seconds

Kakashi put his usual book underneath his literature and began reading. Sasuke and Naruto waited patiently. Sai is done drawing their expression.

Sakura is at the doorstep. She knocked on the door and Mikoto went to open it for her.

00 seconds

She sat on the dinner table and everyone began eating...well, not before Fugaku questions them. "So, what are your names?" He asked. "I'm Namikaze Naruto." "Sabaku Gaara." "My name is Haruno Sakura." Sakura glances at Sai and glares at him. "And I am Sai." Said Sai as he smiles. "So...what are your affinities?" He continued asking. This time, Sai went first. "I do not have an affinity but I do specialize in drawing. I can make drawings come to life in mere seconds." Said Sai in a professional tone.

"My...affinity is wind...I can make a Rasengan..." said Naruto unsure whether to tell Fugaku the last part but he said it either way. "I have dual affinity which includes Earth and a little bit of Water." Said Sakura as she looks directly in his eyes. "...I...am not their teammate but...I don't have an affinity like Sai-San over there. I can control my sand though..." said Gaara. He heard the unheard question of Fugaku. Then why are you here? "I am here because Kakashi-San have invited me."

"Hmm..." Fugaku notes. "Sasuke, I never expect for you to revive such amazing teammates. I expect great things from you as well and not some failure like Shisui. You should be more like Itachi." Said Fugaku sternly. Sasuke glances to the side, afraid of making eye contact with his father. He's afraid of seeing disappointment in his eyes. "Not only are you weaker than Itachi, You also have bad manners. That is why you're a failure." He commented adding salt to Sasuke's wound. "Excuse me, Uchiha-sama. I think that is enough." Her inner had taken control for a bit. She was so angry.

"Now, what would a civilian born do about this?" He asked, challenging her. "Well...as Sasuke's teammate. I would like you to take better care of him. Did you know that he has the Mangekyou? Did you know that he can make the Chidori?" She challenges him. For a split second, she can see surprise in Fuagku's eyes. "Why don't you show me, Sasuke?" He demanded. Sasuke obeyed and insert chakra into both his eyes. Fugaku is honestly astonished. It seems like Mikoto and Itachi doesn't know this either.

"How did you get it?!" Asked Mikoto feeling worried. "I...It's not her fault, Okaa-San. She...fell into the river and she...sort of drowned...she is unconscious so I thought that she was..dead. It traumatized me." He admits. "Now, who is this 'she', Otouto?" Asked Itachi. "It is me, Itachi-San. I'm the one that traumatized him." She points to herself. Fugaku looks at her in fury. "What? I thought Sasuke is only the back-up if Itachi-San doesn't want to be the new clan-head. I thought it was okay to traumatized him." Said Sakura. "Well...he is my son so you can't touch him or harm him in any way possible."

"Right...if he's your son, what does he excel in?" She asked. "Of course, genjutsu." He answered quickly. "Wrong. He excels in ninjutsu while I excel in genjutsu." She smirks. He takes a deep breath in and let's it put in order to calm himself down. Sakura was about to say something else when Kakashi touched her shoulder reassuringly. You don't have to say anything anymore, I'll take care of this. She understood what he meant and shut her mouth. "What Sakura meant to say in a more civil way is that, you should pay more attention to Sasuke because he feels left out. You should also give Shisui some credit. They are both feeling like they're aliens despite being born and raised in this compound." Said Kakashi.

Fugaku takes this into thought and everyone holds their breath. Mikoto looks expectedly at her husband. Itachi crosses his finger underneath the table. "I...I'm sorry...Sasuke....I'm a bad father. I didn't know how to take care of kids. It's mostly your mother that does these things while I take care of the clan. I...don't know how to care for kids after a lot of wars. I'm sorry for reappearing the cycle that my father had done to me."  He looks sadly at Sasuke. His eyes asking for genuine forgiveness.

'You should forgive him.' Said one part of his mind. He agreed and he did. "It's fine, tou-San. Everyone makes mistakes." Said Sasuke as he gives his father a small smile. The temperature in the room suddenly turned warm. Naruto pumps his fists into the air. Fugaku looks at him confusingly. "Oh, we've been meaning to do this for a while, Dattebayo!" He replied while giving him is signature thumbs up. "This is nice and all but where do I fit it in all of this?" Asked Gaara. Sakura sighs. "You really don't know how to read the mood now do you, Gaara?" She asked. Gaara just averts eye contact.

"You were unfortunate, eyebrowless-sand-redhead." Said Sai. "Alright...sorry, Sakura-San...for you know...trying to kill you and all that." He apologized. He can feel multiple death stares directed to him. "Nah, it's fine. I mean HE was in control after all." She forgives him. "Aww...my students are bonding so well!" Said Kakashi as he acts like an actual pedophile. 'Hey, Inner?' She called out. 'What Hun?' Her inner asked. 'Should I tell them about Shisui's technique? I can't tell his parents because he's an orphan so can I?' She asked. 'I'm not sure...maybe you should tell them about Gekkou...' inner replied. 'I will.'

"Um...I have something to tell all of you something regarding...Shisui..." she speak up. Eyes were on her. Ears are prepared to listen to what she has to say. "He has a-" she was cut off by the man himself. "Woah, woah, woah! You shouldn't be telling other people my secret! You do know that I'm insecure about it." Said Shisui as he covers her mouth. He was panicking, she could tel because of his body language. Ino has taught her that before going on the front lines to fight for the war. That was also the day that she lost her best friend. She will become friends with her sooner or later. She must.

Shisui could tell that Sakura knew that he was panicking. In fact, everyone around her was suspicious of him right now. "I'm sorry...I...I don't wanna share this with everyone right now..." he stayed still with guilt in his eyes. "Shisui has trust issues after his mother abandoned him leaving him with no one because his father died on a mission." Said Itachi as he looks sadly at his little brother. Sasuke has PTSD and so does Shisui. The people that he cared for is particularly either mentally ill or just...hurt in some way. He feels like he's cursed.

"Emo's brother? It seems you know something that we don't. Care to share that information?" Sai asked. Itachi's body froze. "I know body language despite not knowing how to feel. Now...care to share?" He asked a second time. Itachi stayed silent. "Shisui is working...for some shady people. I think it might be black mail." He admits. It seems like Shisui didn't stop him this time. He didn't appear to silent him. "It is a case of black mail....or maybe a threat to kill someone close to him..." said Sai as he glances at Itachi. "Stop...'Tachi. I will take this matter at hand. Firefly, don't tell them about it yet..." said Shisui adding emphasis on the word 'yet'.

Everything is a mess. Shisui is working for shady people due to black mail which is a possible answer. Sakura and Shisui also seems to be hiding something  that Itachi doesn't even know even though he's close to Shisui. It seems like Shisui is most likely the most unexpected person of the Uchiha Clan to hold a lot of secrets. "Please explain, Shisui-dear." Mikoto requested. "Well....I am working with an orginization  that I cannot speak of. They...kind of blackmailed me. I'm a first I can't give anymore details because THEY are watching my actions." He told them. Sakura is now interested. This never happened in her last timeline. Shisui commuted suicide and Itachi gained the Mangekyou because of that. I guess, killing Danzo makes everything about him change. Instead of killing himself, he's blackmailed by some shady organization who is monitoring his every move. She's going to need backup if she wants to save Shisui.

"That mother fucking asshole almost blew our cover! Thank goodness you stopped it, ₛₐₛₒᵣᵢ!" Said a figure hiding next to said man. "Yeah, yeah, brat. You shouldn't talk too loudly. You're fucking making my ears deaf." Said ₛₐₛₒᵣᵢ. "You're already old so you're deaf, old man." Replied the figure. "What the fuck are you two doing?" Said a woman with jet blue hair. "You should be spying on him not yourselves!" She whisper-yells. "Fine, woman." Said ₛₐₛₒᵣᵢ. And with that, they went back to spying on Shisui.

"I have to go now, I have duties with T&I." Said Shisui. He could feel most of the Uchihas' present is suspicious of him. "Shisui-Kun!" Sakura Called out. He tuned back and sees her smiling at him. "Just know that we're here for you. So if you need anything, I'm here!" She added. He just gave her a small smile and disappears into the darkness. After that, dinner went by pretty normally. Sakura, Sai and Naruto was given a customized Katana as a welcome gift. Gaara was threatened not to tell this matter to anyone and he agreed on one condition. They have to send him 80 cookies per month since he loves cookies.

After the team dinner, they went back to their respective homes in order to train for the next exam. Kakashi didn't go home yet. He stayed behind and went towards the pet store. He decided to buy extra dog food because of something that is about to be given to Team 7.

"W-Wait!" Sasuke called out. Naruto, Sai and Sakura turned back to stare at him. "Um....I...we...we didn't get to know each other much so...Uh..." he stopped himself. What if they reject his offer thinking he was obsessed with them? He freaked out. "Yeah, I agree with that so...sleepover at my house today? My parents won't mind." Said Sakura. Naruto pumps his fists into the air. "Fuck yeah! I get to sleepover at Sakura-Chan's house!" He said. "Oh...do you have milk?" "Duh, of course I do. Why do you ask?" "Well...I need to at least drink one glass of milk before going to bed. I read from a book that if you do that, you'll fall asleep easier." He said. "We're going to meet up in the park in 3 minutes. Bye." Said Sasuke as he walks back into his house to grab his pajamas. The others did the same while Sakura walks back home.

They shun-shined their way to the park and sees that Sakura was waiting for them. She waved them over and they followed her to her house. She unlocked he door with a seal that she planted and her parents greeted them. It's more like her mom did because her dad was glaring at the boys. Regardless, they walked inside the guest bedroom and stayed in there. They changed in the toilet one after another.
They started to tell stories of their dreams.

"Well...my dream is weird! In my dream, we are in this...modern world where technology exists! We are much older...probably 20 years old. I was working as a barista and...Sai-Teme was working as a patisseries. Sasuke-Teme was our boss or something....oh! There was also a boy who looked exactly like you, Sakura-Chan. He was working as a waiter." Naruto started first. His story sounds eerily familiar but no one knew what it is.

"Aa...well....my dream is normal..I just dreamt that I was a tomato and that I was being eaten....it was a nightmare....I hate being eaten." Said Sasuke as he shivers. "Well....you don't hate being sucked on, right?" Whispered Naruto. Sasuke's face reddened. Naruto laughs in the background. ".....shut up, meiwaku (annoying)!" He said as he tackles Naruto. Sai and Sakura watches them in amusement. "What about your dream, Sai?" Asked Sakura. "I don't dream...I am not capable of doing so." Said Sai like it was the most obvious thing in the world. It was Sakura's turn now.

"So...I had this very...interesting dream where I come from the future. Everything around me was...gone...it was a disaster. We are in the middle of war and...then...I died...by...you and Naruto's hands. Sai was there and so was Kakashi-sensei." She told them. The atmosphere turned dark. They watched each other silently. Naruto stares at his hand and Sasuke followed his actions. "...it's only a dream! It won't happen in real life so calm your tits." Said Sakura. Her eyes carefully checking their expression.

They seem like they saw a ghost. Their skin were pale. "R-Right...haha..." said Naruto avoiding eye contact. Things got very awkward. Sakura is suspicious of them now. They look like they're guilty of something and Sakura can't quite put her hand on the subject. Either way, the atmosphere turned back to normal. They continued talking and slowly falls asleep one by one. Tomorrow is going to be their training day.

They started in the morning. They still have 2 more days left. Sakura is getting the hang of making things appear from just ink, shadow clone jutsu and the fireball jutsu while Sai is getting the hand of healing, performing the shadow clone and fireball jutsu. Same thing happened with Sasuke and Naruto. They are rapidly improving. The last day finally arrives. The last day is also the day for the last exam or so they thought. "Welcome to the preliminaries! My name is Hayate and I will be your proctor for this extra part of the exam. Please get ready as your names are going to show up on the screen above."

And so forth. Sakura got up from her seat and went down the stadium. She have changed her attire and she...not just her but Team 7 look like mini-Kakashi. Ino got down there first. She flips her hair. "Look, forehead! I will show Sasuke-Kun that I'm better than you will ever be." She declared. Sakura stayed silent for a moment. "I don't care. It is your problem for being so weak and pathetic, fucking crybaby. Have him for all I care. Just saying but with you isn't he Uchiha clan, you're just ruining the next generation." Inner responded.

Ino's face is red. "Shake hands so you can begin." Said Hayate. Sakura took off her mask and extended her hand. She gave Ino a mocking smirk. Ino crosses her arm and turned away. "So you're giving up then? If you don't shake hands, it means that you're forfeiting." Said Hayate waiting for her reaction. Ino turned back and quickly shook hands with Sakura who in return smirks in victory. "OH! YOU THOUGHT YOU'D LOOK COOL DOING THAT, RIGHT INO?! WELL, GUESS WHAT?! YOU DON'T!" Yelled Naruto from where he was sitting. Sasuke was smirking next to him. Sai was keeping an eye on his sketchbook but he gave him a thumbs up.

Ino is so mad that no words can express it. She launches forward trying to throw a punch at Sakura thinking that she was slow. Little did she know, Sakura has a trick up her sleeves. Ino's fist landed on Sakura's face and she stumbled backwards. "Ha! You can't even dodge." She taunted. Sakura just smiles. She takes out her customized Katana that she got from the Uchiha clan as a welcome gift for being teammates with Sasuke. Her katana's design was of cherry blossoms on the edge with her name on it and with the word Team 7 carved on the blades. On the other side of the handle, there was the word 'Konoha' on it. Overall, the Katana is a beauty.

She didn't say anything. She put her right foot a little bit farther from her left and disappears. Ino looks around and tries to sense where she was. "Am I here? Or here? Where can I be, Yamanaka Ino?" She asked. Her voice echoed in the entire stadium. Suddenly, Ino's legs were stuck on the ground. A pair of arms grabbed her legs and pulled them underground until her head was the only thing left. "Give up, Ino." Said Sakura. Her eyes were cold as ice....maybe even colder. "No!" She refused. Sakura laughs. "If that's what you want." Said Sakura.

She held up her hand and the clone underground, broke her left leg. Ino screams. She still didn't give up. "Aaa...your screams makes me so...happy..." she said. She passed the Katana to the clone underground and the clone cut her entire left leg off. Ino screams louder. Tears are streaming down her face. "Give up....or I'll cut your pretty head off. I'll gladly hang it on the door frame too." She threatens. "F...Fine..I, Yamanaka Ino from Konoha forfeit this match!" She yelled with all her might. Sakura smiles. "Thank you, weakling." Said Sakura as she takes Ino's body and tosses it towards the nurse. The clone passes Sakura her katana back and poofs away.

She walks towards Ino's limp body and heals it. She even attached her leg too. "Train harder." She whispered in Ino's ear. Ino closes her eyes and fell unconscious. "Due to, Yamanaka Ino forfeiting this match, Haruno Sakura wins automatically."

"I knew it! Sakura-Chan will win, Dattebayo." Said Naruto. "Told you so, Neji. Ino will lose." Shikamaru yawns. "Well...I didn't expect for her to be this strong." Said Neji as he crosses his arms. "Ugly is strong. She's not weak." Said Sai for the first time in forever. "And who might you be?" Neji raises his eye brow. "I am Sai, gay-pupiless-freak." Said Sai as he smiles. Neji just glared at him. "She is indeed strong...not just physically but also...mentally...she suffers but tries to hide it." Said Sasuke. "Whatever."

"Naru, you're up next. So get ready." Said Sakura as she pats Naruto on the back. "Yosh! Imma beat Kiba-Teme into a pulp!!!" He exclaimed. "Yeah, you will." She said as she smiles.

"Shake hands to begin the match." And they did. "Be careful for your dog." He whispered in Kiba's ear. "You're panting dirty again, Namikaze." Said Kiba haughtily. "A ninja must see underneath the underneath, Dattebayo." Naruto replied as he gives him a piece-sign.

'Alright, kit. Use the jutsu that I taught ya a long time ago as the finishing move.' Said Kurama. 'I will. But I won't kill him!' He replied. Naruto smirks. His façade falls apart. "Get ready, Kiba." Said Naruto as he takes out his katana. His katana's design is off a fox on the edge of the handle. It had his name, Konoha's name and Team 7 carved on it. He smiles and body-flickered behind Kiba. He held the Katana behind his neck but Akamaru but his leg. He yelps and Kiba takes this chance to land a punch on Naruto. 'Paralyze the dog.' Kurama suggested and he obeyed. Naruto body-flickered towards Akamaru and grabbed him. He jabs Akamaru's neck and Akamaru is unconscious. Now, Naruto has the upper hand for this match. He smirks. He takes the Katana to Kiba's neck. "Fuck...fine...I Inuzuka Kiba forfeits this match....."  said Kiba. "Due to, Kiba forfeiting this match, Namikaze Naruto automatically wins this round." Naruto walks back with a sinister smile on his face.

The next match is Shikamaru's win. He won by trapping the opponent and using her voice to forfeit. Temari won the next match because she got rid of TenTen's weapons. "Sai-Teme, you're up." Said Naruto. "You better win this, pale ass freak." Said Sasuke. Sai says nothing as he walks down the stairs. His opponent was a girl but he couldn't careless. "Wow...are you sick or something? You're so pale. You should forfeit." Said the girl that he doesn't even give a flying fucking shit about. "Shut up, bull." Said Sai. The girl got angry and tries to land a hit on him.

Sai draws a fire breathing dragon and it breaths out fire. Sai can use any chakra because he has no affinity. He mixes a little bit of lightning in there and the girl is electrocuted and burned at the same time. Tsunade jumped down from the stadium and healer her. "You deserve it, attention seeking whore." Said Sai as he scoffs. The girl was almost dead. "Because of Rosera is unable to continue fighting, Sai wins this match." Announced Hayate. Sai walked back and sit in his chair. He takes out a book called Emotions: How To Feel and begins reading it. Shino won the next match because Kankuro forfeited. "You're up, chicken-ass." Said Sai. "Hn." Grunted Sasuke.

Translation: I know and I'll win. Don't worry.

"Hello...I didn't expect for you to be alive after torturing you...well the girl certainly did not survive." Sasuke commented. Zaku got angry and he begins to make Sasuke deaf. Sasuke knows the detail of his sound-manipulation so he adds a thin strip of chakra to his ear in order to not make him deaf. Zaku panicked as he sees Sasuke not affected at all. Sasuke reappeared begins him and punched him with a chakra-enhanced fist. Zaku flew back. He coughs up blood. Sasuke activates his Mangekyou and grabbed Zaku by his hair.

He forces him to stare into his eyes. He showed him his fear over and over again....his fear is death. Sasuke showcases a bunch of assassination kills that he knows and the poor guy screamed. Sasuke decided to stopped. "Susanoo!" He yelled and black flames emit from his hands and the guy burns. Hayate jumps down to stop the match from continuing. "Stop the fire from continuing to burn or else you will be disqualified." Said Hayate sternly. "Hn." Said Sasuke as he quickly cancels the black flames from burning.

Translation: Fine.

"Due to, Dosu unable to continue fighting, Uchiha Sasuke wins this round." Hayate announces. Choji and Tsuruki are both knocked out so they can't advanced to the next round. Hinata is paralyzed so she forfeits the match so Neji wins the match. Lastly, Gaara's match which ended up with Gaara wining without a scratch. Lee was hurt badly and everyone except Team 7 is wary of him.

They finished the preliminaries. It is interesting to say that something is wrong with Sasuke the moment the preliminaries started. He had looked guilty. "Next, we will be deciding for your opponents for next month. You have a lot of time to train so I expect the best from you kids." Said Hayate. "Hai!" The remaining contestants yelled in synch. Names showed up on the screen.

'So...I have to fight Gaara...I wonder...if the invasion will happen in this timeline...' she thought as she scanned the names. Gaara stares at her with blood lust in his eyes. "With the odd numbers, the last match will be a three way fight." Announced Hayate. Everyone seems enthusiastic about the last match. 'This is troublesome...after all...I have to fight monsters...literally...both of them are fucking monsters.' Thought Shikamaru as he yawns.

'I'm going to make him pay for hurting Hinata-San.' Naruto thought as he glared at Neji who glared back twice as hard at him. 'Hmm...Temari...? Aa...that's fine...' thought Sasuke as he crosses his arms. They are ready for the fight. Sai just stared at the names and shrugs it off. They are going to train their asses so hard until there's no more ass. They left the stadium to meet up with Kakashi.

"Hey, minions! I have teachers for all of you and here they are." Said Kakashi. Three figures appeared behind him. "So, Jiraiya-Sama will train you, Naruto. Tsunade-Sama will train you, Sakura. Yamato will train Sai and lastly, I train you, Sasuke!" He informed. "Why do I have to get a pervert for a teacher, Dattebayo?!" Naruto whined. "I feel you, Dobe..." Sasuke joined him. "What do you mean 'pervert'?! I am only doing research for my awesome books! Plus, I am the le-" "Yeah, yeah. We know. You're Jiraiya, the Toad sanin, Dattebayo." Said Naruto bored out of his mind.

"Hey, kid. Pretty sure you already know me so what's your name?" Asked Tsunade. "My name is Haruno Sakura, Tsunade-shisou." Said Sakura. "Woah, woah, woah! Slow down. I haven't even tested you yet to see whether you're worthy or not." Said Tsunade as she crosses her arm. Her huge breasts bounces as her hand crosses. "Yeah..." said Sakura. "Now-" she was cut off by Sai. "Will you time it down pervert #2 and jigglytits?" Asked Sai as he smiles. Sakura decided to walk in front of Sai and stand there. She feels the need to protect him from the two raging sanins. "Please stop...that's just his way of being nice!" Said Sakura defensively. "You'll get used to him, Yamato." Said Kakashi as he sweat-drops. "I'll try my best..." said Yamato.

After that, they went training with their new mentors. They will be stronger-no, they must be stronger in order to pass the last part of the Chunin Exams.

"Hey, Firefly! What are you doing at this hour? I mean, it's 2 o'clock in the morning!" Said Shisui. "Says the one who is also up." Sakura dissed. "Maa...I cant sleep that's why I'm up." He reasoned. "I'm preparing for the Chunin Exams." Sakura replied to his previous question. "Oh! You must have my style of body-flickering! Trust me. So let's work on it." Said Shisui as he gives her a grin of excitement. And with that, they trained Shisui's body-flicker technique.

A month has passed by rather quickly than any of them even thought about. They are now at the stadium again...but something feels off like someone is there to watch them....more specifically Sakura. Before midnight, she received a note from someone that isn't signed by anyone. She stil has the note in her pocket.

Dear Haruno Sakura:
Good luck on your Chunin Exams. We are going to be watching you. Prepare a good show or else there will be consequences. You will not show anyone of this. Shisui's life is on the line if you show it to anyone.
I hope we can start working with each other in about 4 years until you're 16 years old. You can't refuse.

She freaked out when she read it. Someone was watching her. She feels paranoid but she hid it. Another note dropped on her head. She opens it in order to examine what is written in there. Her jaws clenched.

Dear Haruno Sakura:
I know that you are scared. You shouldn't be because I am not a threat nor am I your stalker...we are not enemies...but your village and I are. Remember, don't tell anybody about this. Once again, good luck on your Chunin Exams. I will be watching you from afar. We will meet sooner than you will think.

Her jaws clenched. She bit the insides of her cheeks. She will try her best to trust this person because Shisui's life is on the line. She walks down to see Naruto's match with Neji. She hopes that there won't be an invasion. Everything will be complicated if it did happen and no one wants that.

(A/N: I think I'm getting better at writing now because this is kind of an action Fanfiction...? We have almost reached the end of this chapter.)

"Welcome back to the last part of the Chunin Exams! I expect that you kids improved a lot. The first match is between Namikaze Naruto and Hyuuga Neji." Genma announces. Apparently, Hayate was murdered. They both come down stairs. A Katana is strapped on Naruto's back. He smirks. Neji glared at Naruto as they walk along the stairs.

"Shake hands so we can begin the match."  Said Genma. "Begin!" He yells. And they did. Both of them flew at each other at an alarming speed. Naruto first landed in Neji's rib cage and he broke it. Neji managed a weak hit in Naruto's face because he was covering his other rib cage. Neji activated his Byakugan. He blocks all of Naruto's chakra paths. Instead of panicking, Naruto smiles. He takes out his katana. The katana can access his chakra through a seal that even a Hyuuga can't block. He slashed the blade and cut through Neji's stomach. He proceeds to stab him but Neji was behind him. He tried to knock him out but fails. Kurama's chakra leaked out and burned Neji's hand.

With this opening, Naruto quickly slashed the blade into his stomach. Neji coughs out blood. His legs are shivering. And now he was on his knees. No one came to stop Naruto from killing Neji. It's like Neji is supposed to die in some way. It made him feel sick. "Sakura-Chan!" He called for Sakura who was the main healer of their team. She understood what he meant and reappeared next to him. She instructed for him not to remove the blade. She quickly healed the internal wounds and told Naruto to pull the blade out. After that, she healed the external wounds because the internal ones are done. Neji began waking up. "I lost to fate, didn't I?" He managed to speak up. "Fuck fate! Write your own destiny, you don't have to follow it thoroughly, Dattebayo!" Said Naruto. "I was deemed to destroy Konoha but did I? No, because I changed that!" He examined further.

"You're...right...I don't have to be...a scape goat...any longer." He whispers and loses consciousness. "Due to, Hyuuga Neji unable to continue fighting, Namikaze Naruto wins this match and advances to the final round." Announced Genma. Medics gathered around Neji and he was brought back to the hospital.  "The next match is going to be between Sabaku Temari and Uchiha Sasuke. Please come down to the stadium." He continued. Sasuke arrived there first. He shoves his hands into his pockets. "You're going to lose, kid." Said Temari. "Hn." He grunted in respond.

Translation: Nah, you will.

"What is that supposed to mean?! Never mind, the faster I end this, the faster I can advance to the next round." Said Temari as she takes out her giant fan. She activated it to level two and aims it at Sasuke. Sasuke just smirks. He has everything under control. His genjutsu has been carefully placed throughout this stadium. He will have the upper hand. She shoots out wind that almost blew Sasuke off his feet if he didn't add a thin strip of Chakra to the soles of his feet beforehand. He snaps his finger. (A/N: No, he's not Thanos in disguise.) Everything in Temari's world turned dark. She wakes up in complete darkness. She only sees Sasuke before her. Her fan is missing and so was her clothes! Sasuke smirks and snaps his finger for a second time. He turned back and the imaginary people that he created went to...rape her. It was her fear after all, he's gotta do what he's gotta do in order to win whether to play dirty or not.

Sasuke also added chakra in his ears so he won't hear her pained screams. Instead he just takes out his MP3 player and listens to music. After the people were done, he snaps his finger for the third time and they were back to reality. Sasuke went behind Temari quickly and puts his katana to her neck. She didn't give up so he jabs her necks and she fell unconscious. "Due to, Sabaku Temari being unconscious, Uchiha Sasuke wins this match and advances to the finals." Announced Genma hesitantly. "What the hell did you do to her?!" Yelled Kankuro. "Nothing. Just a little bit of...genjutsu. She was very weak in it. I couldn't help myself." Said Sasuke while smirking. He was about to get punched when Garaa's sand stopped Kankuro's hand. "You're a disgrace to the village, Kankuro." Said Gaara as he glares at him. He gives Sasuke a small thumbs up using his sand. Sasuke thanks him by nodding in acknowledgment. Before Sasuke left, he made sure that there were a lot of holes in the stadium.

"The next match is between Aburame Shino and Sai. Come down to the stadium." Genma announces. They did but Shino arrived first. "Hmm...you don't look like much but I won't underestimate you. Why? Because looks are rather deceiving." Shino analyzed. "Whatever, bug-boy." Said Sai clearly bored out of his mind. Shino extends his hand and swarms of bugs are sent towards him. "Shit..." Sai cursed under his breath. He performs multiple hand signs. "Katon: Gōkakyū no Jutsu (Fire Style: Fireball Jutsu)!" He yelled and fire emitted from his mouth. It burned a lot of bugs and Shino is upset. He decided not to take the risk and forfeits. "I, Aburame Shino forfeits this match. Why? Because I don't want my whole colony burned to death." Said Shino. The crowds were disappointed honestly. By far, this is the most boring match they have ever seen. "Due to, Aburame Shino forfeiting, Sai automatically wins this match and advances to the finals." Genma announces.

"The next match is going to be a three-way match because of the odd numbers of participants. Come to the stadium, Sabaku Gaara, Haruno Sakura and Nara Shikamaru." He added. Gaara reappears down the stadium in a burst of sand. Shikamaru lazily walks down the stairs while Sakura body-flickers her way down. You'll need it. She remembers what Shisui told her. She will need the technique in order to escape Gaara's raging sand and Shikamaru's deadly shadow. She smirks. 'Thanks, Shisui.' She thought as she arrives in the center of the stadium. "Shake hands so we can begin your match." Said Genma. They shook each other's hand one by one. Shikamaru was glancing form her to Gaara. He has calculated the result of the match.

Sakura will probably ask him for a truce and after they defeat Gaara, they will battle with each other. And he wasn't wrong. Just minutes of the match starting, Gaara's sand flew at them at an immense speed. Sakura dodged and went behind one of the trees that were still intact. Shikamaru followed closely behind her. "Temporary Truce?" They both asked each other at the same time. They both nod. "Do you have a plan?" Asked Shikamaru as he dodges a few more sand attacks. Gaara destroyer the tree they were hiding behind. "Yes, I do." Sakura replies as she tries to punch Gaara but was blocked by a wall of sand. "Speak up then!" Shikamaru yelled. "Find some place to hide first and we'll talk!" Said Sakura as she punches Gaara's sand. It cracked a little bit.

"Here!" Said Shikamaru as he takes her hand and jumps into one of the holes created by Sasuke. "Since I'm the heavy hitter, I'll be on offense. You on the other hand can be the distraction. Buy me some time and I'll land a punch on him." She explained. Gaara leapt down the hole that they were in and Sakura was 'killed'. Shikamaru's eyes widened. He takes this time to flee outside of the hole. After Shikamaru left, Sakura's body poofs away. 'A clone....' thought Gaara. He jumped back up and ran for Shikamaru. "Hey, Shikamaru. Continue with our plan." Said Sakura as she reappeared behind him. "Fine..." he said in a lazy tone. "Shadow Style: Shadow Possession Jutsu!" Yelled Shikamaru as he flashes through a lot of hand signs. His shadow lands at Gaara's feet. Gaara's body froze.

Sakura ran towards Gaara with her chakra-enhanced fist and punches him in the guts. He coughs out blood. He tries to touch his stomach but was stopped by Shikamaru. "I only have a minute left so hurry up." Said Shikamaru as he gets closer to his limit. Sakura nods and went in for the finishing blow. "Shannaro!" She yells and adds more chakra to her fists. She hits him but Gaara's sand stops her fist. "Pain...p-pain...I feel pain....it hurts..." he whispers. He is slowly losing his sanity. "Fuck." She cursed. Shikamaru's shadow can no longer hold onto the beast. Gaara's body is slowly morphing into Shukaku. Soon, everyone in the stadium except for Shikamaru, Temari, Kankuro, her and Gaara is now stuck in a genjutsu. The disguised Kazekage almost killed Minato. Minato hits the fake Kazekage and he disappeared. "Fuck indeed, Haruno." Said Shikamaru as he stands next to her. Suddenly, sound ninjas jumped in and they have no choice but to fight them. "Water style! Water dragon!" A huge water dragon went towards all of the sound ninjas in a hurry and now they're stuck in the water. "Shadow style! Shadow mania..." multiple Shadows from the unconscious crowd is under Shikamaru's control.

Gaara, Kankuro and Temari ran away from the scene. She wanted to go after him but stopped. Shikamaru needs her help. "Go! I can handle it with these shadows to help." Shikamaru commanded. "Got it!" She replied and ran after Gaara. Neji jumped down and runs after Sakura. Soon, Shino, Sai, Sasuke and Naruto was after her. Shikamaru bites this inside of his cheeks. 'She owes me one because so need to take care of all these...ninjas..' thought Shikamaru as he heard Choji and Ino jump down to help him. InoShikaCho is now completed. This is going to be a battle between Konoha, Suna and Oto. He hopes everyone is going to be fine.

Sakura ran as fast as she could after them. She could feel Neji's chakra following closely behind her. Temari, the older sister stopped and turned back to battle her. "I'll take care of this. Go after Gaara and don't stop running." Said Neji as he activates his Byakugan. "You're going down, kid." Said Temari as she takes her fan and activated it to level three. Sakura runs towards Gaara. Shino is following her. This time, Kankuro stopped. Shino pats her on the back, signaling to confuse running. "You should give me the fight that I have been waiting for. Why? Because you have forfeited." Said Shino. Bugs flies out of his coat and went towards Kankuro. Kankuro bit his thumb and a puppet appeared.

Sakura continued running. There was no one stopping her now. Naruto is behind her. She could feel his radiating chakra. Sasuke and Sai followed behind Naruto. "P...pain....hurts...I..it...hurts." She could hear Gaara speak as his voice chsnges from his usual monotone voice to an animalistic one. "Gaara, this isn't you! Control Shukaku." She yells with all her might. Her voice doesn't seem to reach him at all. Naruto walked up to her. "Can you be the distraction for just a while, Sakura-Chan? I now how I can fix this, Dattebayo." Said Naruto. "Fine. Have Sasuke and Sai join me." She requested. "Of course they will." Said Naruto.

"Hn."

Translation: Let's go distract him.

"Thanks, captain obvious." Said Sai as he rolls his eyes. "When did you get so sassy?" Sakura asked. "There's no time for questions, ugly. We got a job to do." Said Sai as he gives her his usual plastic smile. Sakura nods. "Katon: Gōkakyu no Jutsu (Fire Style: Fireball Jutsu)!" Said Sasuke as a huge fireball emitted from his mouth and landed on Gaara's sand. "Wind Style! Tornado!" Said Sai as a huge tornado appeared and assisted Sasuke's fireball making it bigger. "Kuro!" She activated Inner's eyes and stared right into Gaara's eyes. She adds a little bit of Chakra and Gaara's sand wall breaks apart. "Now, Naruto!" She yelled. Naruto nods and enters Gaara's mind through a series of hand sign.

(A/N: Before we continue, you're probably thinking 'what happened to Gaara's sand? why did it fall apart?'. Well, it is because her eyes otherwise known as Kuro is a curse. It can curse people to failing in something that the user wants but it takes a lot of chakra of the user's system.)

"Whoa...Gaara's mind is fucking messed up...." said Naruto as his voice echoes across the darkness. He could smell blood and he sees Gaara's limp body chained to a tree which is his life force. He walks towards him and shakes Gaara in order to make him wake up. "W...wha?" He finally woke up after a minute of Naruto shaking him. "You need to stop Shukaku from controlling you, Gaara." Said Naruto. "I...can't..." he replied. "You can try, Dattebayo! I was like that once too, I still have problems now but I'm working on completely controlling it." Naruto reassured. "How do I...control him?" Gaara asked. "Pretty easy. Just add some of your chakra and think of a gate that could stop him. Add a little bit more chakra and boom! He will be under your control, Dattebayo." Naruto explained. Gaara did what Naruto told and it worked. He was beginning to get control of his body again! "Oh shit. I gotta go now! I've been in your mind for far too long." Exclaimed Naruto as he trips on nothing and face-planted on the floor-darkness.

"T...thank you, Naruto...." Said Gaara faintly. "No problem! That's what friends are for..." Naruto gave him a hug before slowly dispersing into nothingness leaving Gaara in his mind alone once again. He hugged himself. He finally found his reason fo being alive. It isn't because he's supposed to live so he could kill. It was because he was born to be loved, to be looked up to. He knows what he can do. "Shukaku." He called out. There was no respond. "Answer me." He yells. "What?" Asked the bijuu. "Stop doing whatever you're doing and I'll lift another gate off your body." Said Gaara. "Fine." Said Shukaku as Gaara's body went limp.

(A/N: Before we continue, you're probably asking 'how can Naruto just jump inside of Gaara's mind like that?'. It's because Jinchurukis' have special connections. It's kind of like telepathy but instead of just speaking, they can go inside another jinchuruki's head.)

He was back in the real world now. He opened his sea-foam green eyes and stared at the sky. It was raining. He looks around. He sees that Sakura, Naruto, Sai and Sasuke was unconscious. "G-Guys?" He managed to choke out. His clothes are torn. He went up to Naruto. "N...Naruto?" He called out. "Mm...no!...I want Ramen-Chan..." murmured Naruto. Gaara sighs in relieve. He went to Sakura next. "Sakura...?" He hesitantly called out. "Hey! I'm just playing the unconscious game because I'm bored. Glad you're up, Gaara." She said as she opens her emerald green eyes to stare at his sea foam eyes.

"Aa..." He replied acknowledging her existence. "I should heal you. You look pretty roughed up." Said Sakura as she moves closer to him and begins healing him. He flinched at the contact. His wounds are healed. When he looked around him one more time, he sees a lot of ANBU and Medics that are near. They are currently healing Sai and Sasuke. "I'm sorry..." he apologized. "It's fine." This time, Sasuke who is now conscious managed to speak up. "Yeah, eyebrowless-freak." Said Sai as he gives Gaara his usual plastic smile. His smile is more faker than the Kardashians.

(A/N: I apologized if you like the Kardashians. This is meant to be a joke!)

What Gaara could only do was give them a small smile. "I'll go heal, Naru now." She informed him. She went towards Naruto's unconscious body and begins healing him. She slapped him and poured water from a jutsu and he woke up. "Ow! What did I do, Sakura-Chan?" He whined. "You did it, you idiot. You saved Konoha." She told him. "I couldn't have done it without you guys." He refused her claim. They went home, bruised. Itachi is now nagging them to eat healthily and to exercise and sleep more often. They sighed. They have a walking reminder now. Kakashi could only laugh as he cried. He's glad that they didn't end up like his mother.

After a few days of the invasion, Shikamaru was called into the Hokage's office. "Welcome, Shikamaru-Kun. You're probably wondering why I have called you here. Well, I just want to say that you have been promoted as a Chunin! Why? It's because your strategies are going to be useful and beneficial to the village," Said Minato. "Oh! Here is your Chunin vest." He added. "But what about Team 7? They did more than me. They should be promoted instead." Shikamaru argues back. "Oh...well, we already have enough offensive and defensive ninjas. However, we don't have enough strategist." Minato replied. "Just saying but Team 7 is the one that stopped the Gaara from turning any further. They should have been promoted instead." Shikamaru disagreed. "I'm afraid I can't promote them to Chunin, Shikamaru-Kun. Now, do you want your Chunin vest or not?"

Shikamaru thinks for a second. 'The hokage must have other plans for Team 7...or else he wouldn't have such a stupid reason for not promoting them.' He thought. "Of course, I will." He replied and he walked outside with a Chunin Vest strapped onto his chest. Minato smiles as he walks out the door.

"You're promoted?" Asked Sakura who was jogging around Konoha. "Yeah...." he answered. "That's nice. I wouldn't want to be promoted yet cuz it's too much work....honestly, I'd like to stay a genin until next year." She replied. "Aa...you don't want attention directed towards you. That's a good strategy. I completed half of my goal so...I don't know what to do." Said Shikamaru. "Follow your heart." With that, Sakura continued running leaving a flabbergasted Shikamaru behind.

Sasuke sits down on his bed and touched where Orochimaru bit him. He clenches his fists. 'I was too weak...' he thought. 'Of course you are. Without me or the 7 deadly demons, you're nothing.' Nihilanth taunted. "I have to get stronger." He whispers to himself. He got off his bed and went towards Itachi's room. "Nii-san, open up." He called out for his fear older brother. "Hmm...? What's wrong Otoutou?" Asked Itachi who had just got out of bed. "I want you to train me." He requested. "Sure, I have nothing to do for today. Wait, I need to get dressed in my ninja outfit..." Itachi agrees.

Sasuke smirks. He WILL surpass his brother.

"Wake up, dattebane! We're having Ramen for breakfast."  Kushina called putting to her son. "Yeah, yeah...I'm coming, Dattebayo!" Naruto responded. After a few minutes, Kushina hears shuffling upstairs and Naruto body-flickers down the stairs as usual. "Where's tou-sama?" Asked Naruto. "Your gayer is now working. He will be home for lunch." She replied. "Thanks, baa-san!" He replied and he froze. "What did you say to me, you brat?" A dark aura flew upon Kushina. "U-Um...I said that you have very beautiful red hair, Kaa-san." He corrected himself. "That's what I thought."

For once, Naruto is half to have his family.

Sai sits alone in his apartment. He looks to the right and sees 2 framed pictures. He smiles bitterly. "If only you were here Shin-nii...I'm so lonely..." he whispers to no one in particular. He takes one of the framed pictures and holds it close to his heart. Tears begin to fall from his eyes. "I wish....I wish...I wish I could've saved you..." he continued to mourn the death of his non-biological brother.

You shouldn't be crying....

He froze. That was shin's voice! He looked around the room to see no one. He looks at the picture one more time.

Your team is your new family now...

He grabbed another picture. He glances at it and wipes his tears. He genuinely smiles. He takes the previous picture and puts it downward. He hugs the new photo closely to his chest.

He smiles. He will accept them as his new family.

Sakura sits up. She has nothing to do now that the Chunin Exams are over. She just finished jogging and just got back home. She takes a deep breath and breaths out. Everything is pretty normal so far. She has to prepare for the stalker. She lays down on her bed. Another note fell on her face.

Dear Haruno Sakura:
My accomplice will meet with you now. Be prepared. He is not hostile. He can be a little bit rude so I apologize in advance.

'It's the stalker again.' She thought bitterly. A scorpion dropped on top of her head. She jumps back in surprise. "Hey, human! My master wants me to give you this." The scorpion spoke up. The scorpion takes a scroll from its back and hands it to her. "Bye, bye now!" And it poofed away. She holds Th e scroll close to her chest. 'It's Akasuna Sasori that was contacting with her....no one else that she knows has a scorpion summoning....' she thought.

She opened the scroll to see a ring. It fit her perfectly. Then her mind snapped into realization. They want her in the Akatsuki! That's why they gave her a ring in advance. She hides the ring. 'What do I do....?' She begins to panic. Another note was sent to her. She opens it.

Dear Haruno Sakura:
You may think that I am Akasuna Sasori but you are sorely mistaken. I used his summoning. You probably know about our little organization because you come from the future.

'How did they know about her being from the future?' Was her first thought after finishing reading the letter. She needs to tell Kakashi real fast. Her life and Konoha might be in danger if any of the Akatsuki members can enter and exit safely through the gates. She grimaced. She can't tell the others because their life will also be in danger. She will tell her team tomorrow morning.
