After breakfast, Aqua asked, “ Oh right,mom is supposed to come home on the 18th, right?” she asked her younger brother.

He took a quick drink of his coffee giving a nod, “ Yeah, so we have about eleven days without her and Piri.”

Terra noticed his slightly bitter look, but thought better to not say anything if he commented on it and said, “ Master Eraqus said it was okay to stay with a friends house for a little while, since he has to take care of things off world, so I might ether have to stay at my school or some ‘friends’ house.” he sighed

“ Well, you can stay here if you want.” Aqua offered, making Terra and Isa surprised, to the point Isa almost choked on his coffee. 

“ Are you sure? Your brother looks like he might have an aneurysm from that suggestion…” Terra sweat dropped.

“ Well, I know you have a hard time making friends-don’t deny it Terra, I’ve known you since I was six.” Aqua gave him a look, as he was about to protest, “ And I also know you don’t have any friends at your school, since I hang out with you practically everyday, and I’m also not letting you sleep outside or anything.”

“..I could call Toshinori and ask if I can be with him for the week..” Terra then said as Aqua gave him her famous glare. 

“ Terra, all you would eat would be takeout. Like from Panda express all the time, and possibly McDonalds.” Aqua slightly scrunched her nose, knowing he hated McDonalds and Panda Express. 

“...good point. Okay then, you win miss bossy pants.” he said, holding his hands up, slightly amused. 

“ Good.”

She looked satisfied as she went back into the kitchen as it was quiet for a bit until Isa said, “ She really has you wrapped around her finger, huh?”

Terra blushed in embarrassment when he said that, “ S-Shut it. No she doesn’t.”

“ Say’s the one whose face is as red as a tomato.” 

“ Oh, shut it. Like you don’t have a crush or like someone that way.”

“....be quiet.”

“ Oh, so you do? Who’s the lucky person?” Terra smirked. 

“ Nobody you need to concern yourself about.” Isa said, giving him a glare as Terra slightly flinched and asked, “ What is up with your family’s glares?! They are freaking terrifying!”

Isa shrugged as he said, “ Run’s in the family. Deal with it.”

“ Wonderful..” Terra groaned.

The both of them didn’t hear the amused giggles of Aqua secretly listening to their conversation. 

She walked away as she heard them both bickering more as she went to go do the dishes. She hummed a lullaby as she scrubbed a plate.

She felt a small nudge as she looked down and smiled, gently rubbing her stomach, speaking softly, “ Hi there baby...I’m not sure if you can hear me..but I’m your mom. I know that I didn’t really react the greatest when I first found out….but I am happy about you. I honestly hope you’ll be healthy and strong...and I can’t wait to see you...and what kind of person you’ll become..”

She felt another nudge making her giggle a bit. She finished the dishes as she let them to the side to dry as she called out, “ Do you guys want anything to drink?”

“ No!” was both of their responses as she heard them now fighting over what was better. Marvel or DC. Isa was saying Marvel was better, while Terra was saying DC was better. Aqua rolled her eyes in amusement as she said to herself, “ Boy’s will be boys I suppose..”

“ I heard that!!” They both said together as Aqua called out,laughing “ Good! You were supposed to!” she said.

She decided to open her phone to look at old pictures she had on her phone, as the boys were now fighting about Star Wars and who was a better protagonist. Anikan Skywalker or his son, Luke, and clicked a button to show one picture of her and Terra, at the cherry blossom festival, which was when they both wore kimonos and watched the famous cherry blossom tree bloom under the moonlight. The petals seemed like they would glow under the moonlight, which was what made the festival so famous in Radiant Garden. It was so beautiful in person, with the lanterns in the background, and everyone gathering around and having fun.

She looked at another picture of her and her siblings. She gave a warm smile in the picture, her hair up in her bun with some chopsticks holding them up, Isa with a neutral, but slightly annoyed look, and Piri looking all happy and excited.

She slightly laughed when she got to a picture of her and Isa with their uncles, a man with long blond hair wearing black and his hair spiked upwords, smiling brightly, and a man with unkempt shoulder length black hair, a scraggly beard and tired eyes, with a white scarf around his neck, he and Isa both looked slightly annoyed in that picture.

‘ I wonder when either Uncle Aizawa or Uncle Mic is going to ask the other to get married...well, hopefully soon.’ she thought to herself. 

She sighed as she thought about the memories, the good memories in this house, having a faint, yet sad smile as she day dreamed a bit, thinking about if their dad were still there, maybe things would be better.

She snapped out of it when she felt someone tap her from shoulder making her turn her head, and saw Terra, looking slightly worried, “ You ok? You looked like you weren’t here for a bit, even though Isa called out to you a couple of times..”

She looked at him and gave a sheepish look, “ Yeah, sorry was just thinking about things.”

“ Like?” he asked, curious a bit.

“ Names, if it’s a boy or girl. Might be early, but I still like to think in advance.” she told him

“ Oh really? And what names are you thinking about?” he asked, slightly curious. 

“...I was thinking if it’s a boy, maybe his middle name could be Isao, after my dad..and maybe for a girl, her middle name could be your mom’s name. As a way to both honor them in either case.” 

He was in shock and a bit taken back when she told him that, “ Aqua, are you serious?”

“ Yeah..I mean, we both get to honor them in a way, if it’s either gender. And if you want you can come up with names too. Like if its boy names I can come up with them, and you can come up with girl names...if okay.” she said, looking away a bit unsure. 

He held her hand, making her look up and saw him smiling, his eyes a bit misty, “ I think it's a great idea…”

She smiled at him, happy and noticed the time and asked, “ Wanna go for a walk? I don’t want to be in this house all day...plus Isa’s supposed to go hang out with his friend.”

He chuckled as he said, “ Sure, wanna play a game while we walk?”

“ Yeah! How about...Pokemon Emerald! I really want to continue my Pokemon Nuzlocke!” she said, looking excited.

“ Sure, and maybe the new versions of the game, the...Sinnoh region I think. We can start playing those games together today...what starter do you think you might get?” he asked. 

“ Hmm...I might pick that cute penguin one, it’s so cute, and it’s stats seem pretty good! How ‘bout you?” She asked, curious.

“ I might pick the turtle one. It looks interesting and from what I heard, it has pretty good defense, and it looks very earth-like.” He said, slightly shrugging his shoulders, as they made their way to the front door, putting shoes and their jackets on. 

“ Okay! Isa, we’ll be back! We’re going for a walk!” Aqua called out to her little brother

“ Fine, but make sure to be careful, and don’t forget to bring your phone just in case.” He told her, standing at the end of the hall.

She gave him a playful look and gave a mock salute, as she and Terra went off on a walk.

He chuckled a bit as he said, and had a faint smile, “ So...if it’s a boy you want to have it’s middle name after dad...good choice sis.”

He heard the phone on the wall ring as he picked it up and said, “ Hello, this is the Miki Residence. How can I help you-...hello ma’am...No, she’s busy running and training for when you come back….no she left a while ago...wait what?! You did what?! But she’s only 16!! You can’t-!!...yes ma’am….yeah, she brought her phone with her...ok…Bye..”

Isa put the phone back to the wall and it was quiet for a moment before he punched the wall hard, to the point there was a dent in it. Even though his hand started to bleed, he couldn’t feel it as anger started to course through him, after their mother had called him to inform him some news that was horrible.

‘ God..why...why do you do this to her?! What did she do to deserve this?!’

“ Haha! I won!!” Aqua cheered as she had beaten her Pokemon Nuzlocke, “ I couldn’t have done it without my team!” she said, looking happy as she walked next to Terra.

Terra grinned as he said, “ That's great! Wanna get something to celebrate your victory? I know how long you’ve worked on that nuzlocke.

“ Hmm...oh! We could go get ice cream! I really want something sweet...but spicy too...but I’ll pay for it!” Aqua said, looking happy. 

“ Uh...ok.” he sweatdropped. He didn’t have the heart to tell her there was no such thing as sweet and spicy ice cream.

She held his hand as they walked, she hummed the Pokemon’s original theme song as he chuckled a bit, his cheeks turning pink. She was so cute…

They heard Aqua’s phone starting to ring making her pause as she got out her flip phone and her eyes turned a bit dull as she let go of Terra’s hand and put a ‘shh’ motion. He nodded and kept quiet. 

She picked up the phone and said, “ Hello mom…”

“ Ah! There you are! I tried to call the house but Isa picked up instead..” Anzu’s once cheery voice seemed slightly annoyed, “ Anyways! I wanted to tell you some good news!!”

Aqua was a bit worried and asked, “ And...what’s the good news..?”

“ Congratulations dear! You're engaged!!”

“...I’m...what?”
