“.....what?” was all she heard from him, he sounded like he was in shock and horror. “ Y-You're joking...right?” he asked

“ N-No I’m not. I took two tests, and they both said I’m pregnant.” she told him, breathing heavily as she cried “ Terra what are we going to do?” she asked

She heard nothing on the other side of the phone as she heard something drop and then the beeping noise that happened after someone hung up. She gulped as she tried to call him again a couple of times with no responses, as she froze up as her phone turned off on its own as her breathing started to go faster and harder as emotions she had held in for so long just burst out like a dam.

She cried out loudly, gripping her hair tightly as she cried, as bad memories and her biggest fears just flooded her mind as she thought about things her mother would do to her when she found out about Aqua expecting. She knew she would probably force Aqua to get rid of the baby since it was ‘illegitimate.’ After that, she would never let her out of her sight again, and probably wouldn’t let her eat anymore either, just keep on injecting her with nutritions instead. She would train her mercifully and would take all of her anger out on her, and make Aqua’s life hell.

She was having a nervous breakdown as she sat down on the bathroom floor, trembling as she cried, and noticed scissors as she grabbed them, as she muttered, “ I look just like her…I hate that...so much…..why do I have to look just like her….why do I have to have a similar face and have the same hair length and shade….I HATE IT!!!” She screamed loudly, grabbing her hair and cutting it. She breathed heavily as she saw her hair. It was now to her shoulders, curling up a bit at the ends. Her hair was slightly uneven in some parts, but it looked like a decent cut. 

She smiled brightly at what she had done to her hair, as as she saw something move in the corner of her eyes she lifted her head up and looked at the mirror, and saw her dad looking at her sadly as she stared at him, “ What a shame...your hair was always so beautiful.” her father said as Aqua whispered, “ What are you doing here?”

“ Well, I wanted to see my eldest daughter, and I found out I would become a grandfather…” he said, smiling at her a bit as Aqua stared at him and said, “ Don’t pretend to act all proud...I know what you really think of me...you think I’m an embarrassment and a freak..” 

He looked at her sadly as he told her, “ I think you're confused...ever since I’ve been gone, your mother has hurt you and your siblings, mostly to you, not just physically but emotionally as well….she used fear to control you and make you hate yourself….”

Aqua clenched her teeth as she shouted, turning around, “ What choice do I have?! If she doesn’t , she would take all her anger out on Isa and Piri, who don’t deserve any of it! I deserve to be hated, since I was the reason for why you died! I should have never asked you to race that day….I bet you even hate me…”

“..No. I love you Aqua...I do.” he told her sadly smiling at her as Aqua’s bottom lip trembled as more tears fell down her face as she clenched her hair brush and threw it as hard as she could to the mirror as it shattered into millions of little pieces as Aqua fell down to her knees, weeping as she continued to say over and over again

“ I-I’m sorry dad...I’m so sorry…” she cried, breaking down seeing him as she then heard him speak, ‘Aqua...calm down...it’s okay….’

She kept crying still as her tears hit the ground, as she put two hands on her stomach as she kept whispering, “ I’m sorry...I’m sorry sweetie…mommy’s sorry…” she whispered softly.

Isa actually jumped when he heard crashes upstairs as he ran up the stairs as he banged on the door, “ Aqua what’s going on?! Open the door!” he said, trying to get to his sister worried as he could now hear her crying as he looked worried and growled, backing up and then using his shoulder to barge into the room causing it to open as he saw her on the floor keep whispering things he couldn’t hear her for a moment, until her heard, ‘ I’m sorry’

He slowly approached her, reaching out his hand, seeing how she was crying, and how her hair was much shorter than it was before. He accidentally stepped on some of the mirror shards causing a crunch noise as Aqua froze as she slowly turned around, as Isa froze seeing her eyes. They looked crazed and scared. Her eyes made her think of a rabid animal as she stared at him. 

What she thought were footsteps as she turned around and thought she was seeing her mom as she backed away as she kept whispering, “ G-Get away….GET AWAY!!!” she screamed, grabbing the pair of scissors from before and swinging them at her ‘mom’.

“Aqua calm down!!” Unknown to Aqua, it wasn’t her mom, it was Isa dodging the attacks with scissors, as he grabbed her wrists before she could stab him, she was crying and screaming, “ I’m done, you hear me?! I’M DONE!!! I’M DONE BEING YOUR PUNCHING BAG AND LETTING YOU TAKE ALL OF YOUR ANGER ON ME!!! WHY CAN’T YOU UNDERSTAND?! I’M YOUR DAUGHTER TOO! AND YET YOU TREAT ME LIKE I’M A MONSTER!!!! WHY DO YOU HATE ME SO MUCH?! WHY DO YOU LOVE PIRI MORE?! HUH?! I HAVE TRIED EVERYTHING TO MAKE YOU LIKE ME!! OR EVEN LOVE ME!!! YET ALL YOU DO IS HURT AND ABUSE ME!! I’M DONE!!! I’M DONE!!!!!!” 

Isa looked at her worried and a bit scared as he said, “ Aqua! PLEASE CALM DOWN! IT”S ME!ISA!! NOT MOM!” he told her as she cried more as she dropped the scissors as she fell to her knees as she cried, “ Why...Why can’t you love me the same way you love Piri….why do you treat me and Isa like we are garbage or like we are your play things…” she cried as Isa held her in his arms, looking at her sadly.

“ It’s going to be okay..Aqua...it’s okay…” he whispered as she continued to cry

After a long time of her crying, she somehow managed to calm down as he lead her back to her room as he made sure she went to sleep before he went back to the bathroom and started to sweep up the mirror shards and the hair, with some boots and gloves on, when he stumbled onto the two pregnancy sticks making him surprised as he put a picked them up and let out a small gasp

‘ Oh no...Aqua…’ he looked worried before he heard her phone start going off making his head turn to where her phone was on the counter as he picked it up and saw it was Terra. 

He knew her password so he opened up her phone and read through the messages. 

‘ Aqua, I’m so sorry. I didn’t mean for this to happen. I didn’t mean to drop my phone, I’m sorry. It turned off on it’s own. It didn’t start working until I put the charger in. I am so sorry I didn’t take you seriously. Please call or text me.’

‘ Aqua, I’m sorry I really am. I’m still in Radiant Garden, so let's meet up at the fountain and talk….’

‘ Aqua?’

He heard the door being knocked on making him frown as he walked down the hall, down the stairs to the front door and saw Terra panting, making Isa growl seeing him as he tried to slam the door in his face but Terra caught the door before he could shut it all the way, “ I-Isa, where’s your sister?” he asked, looking worried 

“ Like hell I’m telling you. She doesn’t need to see you, you’ll only make things worse. Now leave.” he said, trying to close the door again as Terra opened it again, “ I know she’s here...please I need to talk to her.”

“ About what? Her being pregnant?” 

Terra was a bit taken back, “ How did you-”

“ I found them in the bathroom after I heard a huge crash in there…” he sighed as he said, “ I’ll show you the bathroom…” he led Terra to the bathroom as Terra was a bit nervous.

When Isa showed him the bathroom, Terra was in shock of all the shards of the mirror on the ground, and he saw long cut locks of blue hair on the ground as he looked at Isa, “...she did all of this?” he asked as Isa nodded a bit.

“ My guess is that maybe she had a panic attack or better yet a nervous breakdown….maybe all of the things she’s bottled up over the years finally broke once she found out the news…” Isa said, as he held out a bag and said, “ In case you need proof she wasn’t lying...here.” Terra took the bag and slightly widened his eyes when he saw the two tests, and it felt like his heart stopped for a moment.

He looked at the tests, knowing they had confirmed that what Aqua had said was true. She was pregnant, which meant he was a dad.

Terra had to quickly get rid of his tears that were starting to well up in his eyes as he asked, “ Where is she? If it’s okay to ask?”

“....” Isa analyzed him for a moment and said, “...she’s in her room, resting..”

“...can I please see her?” Terra asked, “ Please..”

“...third door down the hall. Listen, you better get her out of this shitty home, before mom ever finds out, or before she has the baby, understood?” Isa told him with a narrowed look

“Trust me..I’ve been planning to do that for a very long time, before what we found out today.” Terra said, giving a small bow to him and going where Isa told him where Aqua’s room was.

He opened the door and saw Aqua asleep on her bed, as he gently closed the door behind him as he looked around the room a bit and faintly smiled when he saw so many games in a bookshelf. 

He turned his head to Aqua and carefully approached her and saw her tear stained face as he said in a soft voice, “ I’m sorry Aqua...I really am..I didn’t know this would happen…” he gave her a small kiss on the forehead and then looked down at her stomach that was slightly showing from her shirt

He sadly smiled as he placed a hand on her stomach softly, after getting on his knees so she wouldn’t wake up, as he said in a soft voice, “ Hey there...I don’t know if you can hear me, and you probably don’t know me...but I’m your daddy...I just found out about you today, so did your mommy...I am happy...I’m also scared and in shock...I’m just scared for you and your momma...and how I’ll be if your momma decides to keep you...but...I promise I’ll protect you and your mommy...whatever it takes.” he said

He closed his eyes, leaning against the bed as he was on his knees, his hand on her stomach still as just when he was about to fall asleep, he heard a little girl’s voice.

‘ Ok daddy. I love you!’

He fell asleep a small smile on his face as he slept, leaning against the bed still as Isa peaked in to see them, and let out a rare smile as a redhead peaked in, “ Everything ok?” he asked, as Isa frowned again, “ Yeah, now lets go before you wake them up with your obnoxious color scheme and terrible taste in fashion.”

“ Hey! I do not have an obnoxious color scheme and I have a great sense of fashion thank you!”

“ Sure you do...while you look like you belong in the 70’s show…” he said walking off, closing the door behind him as Lea growled, “ Now you listen here!”

Isa sighed as Lea went on, thinking to himself, ‘ Here we go again…’
