"Kaneki-kun~!..." Kaneki's body froze as his head shot up in fear. He whipped his head everywhere but found no one but himself and a huge mess.... But... He knew who's voice it was very clearly....

It belonged to the now dead Rize......

"Ken-nii..."

Kaneki's POV  
I stifled out short breaks of gasps and stared in horror of the reflection of the atmosphere. I saw Rize.... She was just there.... I thought she died!.... Yuki too.... She's in a coma..... So why-

"Kaneki-kun~~~!"

"R-Rize-San.... A-ahhh!" I gasped loudly in shock and fear and stared at the strong illusion.....but my eye...

"W-what is wrong with my eye?!" Gasps choked in my throat as I was speechless and horrified at the events spilling out before me. Rize was softly laughing in the reflection of the mirror. I was in a nightmare.......

"Hmm~... Don't you know? That's an eye of a ghoul's! Don't you remember? My organs were transferred to your body! You're a half ghoul!"

No...no...no.... NO..... I'm not a ghoul.... I'm not a ghoul..... I'm not a ghoul..... Lies.... Lies.... Lies....-

"NO! YOU'RE WRONG! IM HUMAN!" I screamed and yelled at the face of terror in the mirror and punched it. My hand didn't spill out crimson and warm blood from the shatter and the shards of glass... It was perfectly fine without a scratch seen by any eye.

"Glass won't be able to harm a ghoul's skin~! A ghoul's skin is very tough compared to human skin~! Ahahaha~!"

Her sickening tone.... Her hauntingly voice of bloodlust...... Her face.... Her deceiving eyes..... It's really Rize-san..... But... Am I just having a strong illusion?.... She's here but she's dead.....

".... I-I'm a h-human..... I'm not a m-monster...." I chocked out my words and swallowed my saliva as my throat yearned for hydration. I crumbled towards the floor but grabbed hold of the sink rim to hoist myself up.

"You're a ghoul, Kaneki-kun...."

The last yet haunting words coming from a monster rung through my head as I roughly shot up and ran to the kitchen. Tears hurriedly yearned to escape my eyes as they successfully escaped to the dark world of a cruel reality to fall to their deaths. I took hold of a sharp kitchen knife and shut my eyes with force but opened my phone first.

"H-hey hide.... Can you bring me the notes from class?" I gulped onto my saliva and wiped my eyes while crushing every tear to their death.

"Huh? Okay! I'll be there in around fifteen minutes! See you then Kaneki~!" Hide hung up on the phone as I felt the tears reappear to escape.

'If I can't get injured with this.... Then I'm truly a g-ghoul.....'

I pulled up my jacket and shirt to reveal my bare stomach and scarand bit onto the fabric to hold it up in place. I applied force to my gritted teeth and opened my eyes. I raised my hands that held onto the blade and hesitated to stab the knife into my kidney.

'I-if I hit my kidney.... Then I'll be able to get a new one and I won't have to be a monster anymore! I won't be able to call for an ambulance but when hide comes over.... He'll call for the ambulance!..........'

I was still hesitating even after my thought out plan. I was scared..... Scared that I might have a chance of impaling myself.....and that I may be a ghoul.....

I gritted my teeth even more in frustration and anxiety as my body shook like thunder. I quickly and harshly tried to thrash the knife into my kidney....but.....it didn't lay a single scratch on me........ The knife twisted it's self but it didn't inflict any harm on me at all.....

I'm a monster.....

. NO!

I abruptly stood up with every ounce of energy left and opened cabinets and the fridge. I pulled out mustard, ketchup, lettuce, tofu, and anything that I can try to eat as a human would....but.... They all tasted horribly! The mustard and ketchup tasted like solidified puke! The lettuce tasted like burnt rubber! The tofu tasted and felt like hardened and dry clay!

In the corner of my eyes, I spotted some coffee mixtures and quickly opened the lid to pour the mixture into my mouth. I was expecting for the worst like the coffee tasting like ashes....but... It tasted.... Good....

I stared at the coffee mixture in wonder and tasted it some more and it tasted fine. No-it was really good...It was a miracle! I sprinkled some coffee powder mixture on some of the remaining tofu and big into it to greet a horrid taste.

"Why can I only eat the coffee beans and drink coffee?...."

'Yuki....... I miss you...... What have I done to you.....'

Sighing with tears, I had to clean up the horrid mess of the once lovely food for humans. If hide were to see this mess.... I surely won't have an explanation....

Yuki's POV
"Ken-nii..... I'm cold.... Scared.... I want to be with you and hide again....."

Silent tears of loneliness effortlessly escaped my eyes and fell to their deaths with their cold liquids spilling everywhere onto the black floor. After all, I was trapped in a nightmare until this coma will come to an end.....

"I hate you Rize.... Get out of Ken's and mines' head!..... If you want.... Just leave Ken alone and just torment me....."

"Ehhh~~! But where would the other half of the fun go if I stopped playing with Kaneki-kun? You better hurry up and wake up dear Yuki-chan~!"

I shuddered in disgust and cried even more. I couldn't hold a facade to hold my emotions of regrets and agony..... It hurts...... It truly hurts like burning fire from hell and building ice from the frozen heavens. I do not belong to neither hell or heaven and I'm misplaced here on Earth..... I'm a nobody.....

.....But.....

I can still try to wake up quickly and aide Ken's side! I will still be able to be by Ken's and Hide's side! We would laugh, cry, chat, and do everything together like we'd always do! I will make sure of that! I will protect Ken and Hide.
