???'s POV
'Ahh! I'm going to be late! I told them that I would meet up with them at 3:30PM, but now it's 4:11PM!'

I quickly ran past multiple people's stares, streets, and dark alleyways. I didn't care what people thought of me— Some girl with messy hair and knee socks slipping off into different heights, running as if she was late for an interview.

Feeling energy burn into my lungs, I ran faster despite the dangerous clicking of my heels on my boots. Still, I was barely even breaking a single sweat.

I'm pretty athletic so it didn't bother me as much. The way I became athletic though, that's another sad story. The only bothersome factor is my long black hair because it would not care to stop flying over my face. I would appear to be the grudge or some porcupine.

My silver gray eyes lit up once I turned the corner to collide my nose with the wonderful scent of a coffee shop. I exhaled with delight and clasped my hands together.

"I'm finally here! I love you, Anteiku!" I whiffed in the deep aroma of the sweet, warm, yet bitter smell, my mouth watering. I quickly entered the shop and the bells of the door jingled throughout the cafe to my delight.

"Oi Yuki! Why are you so late?!" My attention was turned towards a certain orange haired male and I waved my hand frantically in response. I also took account of seeing another familiar face.

"KEN-NII!" I ran towards Ken and gave him a huge death hug of pure love. Hide on the other hand was sweat dropping at his suddenly forgotten existence when the girl ran past him.

"Y-Yuki...! A-air! Let g-go of me..." I sheepishly giggled and let him go, watching him violently inhale his longing breath from my massive teddy bear hug of incredibleness! It was one of the special hugs that I hold power to and I'm proud of it!

"Yuki, how come I was ignored and didn't get a hug..." I giggled again in embarrassment that I had forgotten mines' and Ken's best friend.

"Sorry! Here!" I quickly gave Hide an everlasting hug which he also struggled to receive a breath of air. I giggled and released Hide from my grasp.

Almost everyone's attention in the shop was towards us due to me and my loud appearance, but I just ignored the glances and attention. Especially a couple of perverted comments from some dorks. I tried ignoring them despite my bubbling anger of firing unicorn fists ready to launch! In short, I would love to beat the crap out of them.

"Yuki-chan, come sit next to me." My brother, Ken, gestured to the seat beside him and I easily obeyed with ease.

"Man~! Those perverts are disgusting! They have no class at all!" I smiled at Hide's comment because I knew he was trying to cheer me up to drag me away from the uneasiness and fury.

"Yuki-chan, would you like to order some coffee?" I nodded my head enthusiastically while my brother called for an order. At the same time, Hide was asking Ken a question which made me quite shock.

"Nei, nei Kaneki! So whose your crush?" My mouth was left agape and my eyes were wide in surprise to hear that MY twin brother has a crush. I slammed my fist onto the table, making the two flinch. I immediately head locked Ken in a flash.

"What's this?! My lovely older twin brother has a crush? I really wonder why I just heard of it now!" I smiled innocently as Hide was frozen and speechlessly watched the wrestling match before him. On the other hand, Ken was struggling to get out of my serious headlock of deathly love of a sister.

"Y-Yuki...! S-sorry... A-air! Again!" I sighed while releasing my grip on him and sat back down properly. I was now dead serious about my brother's crush who is a mystery to me for heck! Who knows how long?

"So... Who's your crush Ken-nii? Do I need to crush your crush?" He was stuttering while scratching his cheek nervously. I clearly saw the pink dust of blush on his cheeks.

"Excuse me, may I take your order?" All of our attentions were to a waitress with purple hair that covered one side of her face and pale skin with purple orbs.

'Oh! She's cute! Does my brother like her-'

"Yuki-chan, what would you like to order?" I hummed in thought and lit up.

"I'll have a caramel iced coffee with whip cream and chocolate syrup to top it off please! Thank you!" She nodded her head, but before she could leave, Hide tried making a move on the girl. I wasn't sure, but was he trying to make a move or make a flirty complement...? Or are they the same? I don't know...

"Miss, you're cute! What's your name?" I just sweat dropped at how Hide can be so straightforward at times. Oh well, he's Hide... You can't hide find from that fact.

"It's Touka..." She hid her face with the notepad and she ran away in embarrassment to the back counter to supposedly make my coffee.

"Hide, look what you did~! You made her run away~! I bet she thinks you're a creep~!" I teased Hide and watched as he made a hurt expression, but he secretly was gesturing that we should be teasing Ken instead. I smirked in agreement and poked Ken's shoulder. He removed his nose from his book and turned to face me and my puppy eyes.

"Ken-nii~! So who's the lucky girl? Is she pretty? Why do you like about her? Are you gonna forget me? How come I never knew~?"  I poked his cheek and clearly saw how flustered he was. His ears were flushed with the shades of red and pink. Hide was dying on the other side of the table and I really, really tried my best to hold in my laughter at the sight of a very flustered Ken.

'I wonder which girl has caught my Ken-nii's heart to race like unicorns flying with potatoes and bubbles~! I bet we were making a lot of disturbances... Why do I keep referring to unicorns and such~?'

"Hide! Yuki-chan! Be quiet or else they'll kick us out!" My eyes widened in surprised.

'Is this girl that important to him that he has to see her today? I'm even more curious now!'

"Here's your iced coffee. Thank you for waiting." I smiled in return and she reflected it back. I took a sip and my eyes widened in delight as I moaned in pleasure. I took another sip, sparkles now glowing in my eyes in amazement of the coffee's flavors.

"T-this tastes like heaven!" I exclaimed as my brother and Hide chuckled at my reaction. I continued to drink it as Ken kept looking at the door secretly, trying to hide his anxiousness  from Hide and I.

But, Hide and I aren't stupid. Although we joke a lot and act dumb, we are quite intelligent! We both noticed how this 'girl' makes Ken really nervous when we mention his mysterious crush.

At this exact moment, someone entered the shop and Hide and I didn't fail to notice Ken's happy and relieved expression. His face was tinted with pink and red hues on his cheeks. His eyes widened in admiration and his smile was filled with joy.

She was actually very beautiful. Long and smooth purple hair with a pair of shiny purple orbs, a nice figure, and red framed glasses that complemented her pale skin! She walked so elegantly across the cafe towards her destined table.

She pulled out a book which I immediately recognized that to be the same exact replica of Ken's book. The book was written by Ken's favorite author— Sen Takatsuki.

'Is that what brought Ken to like her?'

"Kaneki, she's out of your league." My eyes shot up to Hide's. I'm shock to hear him say this.

'I'm confused, shouldn't he be supporting Ken...?'

"What do you mean 'out of your league'?!" I could easily tell that Ken wasn't happy to hear that. My black bangs were covering my eyes and I held onto my cup with its cold water surrounding the cool glass that rolled onto my hands.

I don't like it when Ken's dreams gets crushed. Just like when our Mom died and I... It's a bitter feeling, but I want to make up for some times I was a fool.

"Ken. Hide. Silence." My bangs were barely hanging over my stern eyes and they obeyed my command. They both knew to not mess with me when I'm serious or else it's nap time for a certain time period. Plus, I'm like their princess.

Hide sighed and got up while placing some money onto Ken's stacks of books.

"Well then bye Kaneki, Yuki! Good luck Kaneki~!" The bells jingled one last time and I never knew that it would be the last time I could ever peacefully be with the two of them ever again.

Ken just sighed and I took one quick glance at him before staring back at my coffee.

"Ken..."

"Y-yeah...?"

"How special is that girl that you want to date her?" I took another sip from the cool iced coffee as I waited to hear my brother's answer from his heart.

"H-her name is Rize and she's really special. I never had ever talked to her, but she just pulls me in like she's a goddess..." When I turned to face him after his statement, he was smiling warmly in thought.

I sighed and smiled gently, knowing how happy he seemed to even think about her. I glanced at Rize and chuckled. I got up and placed down some bills.  Ken seemed to notice my leave due to his was stuttering and panicked expression.

"Y-Yuki-chan, wh-where are you going?!" I chuckled at his red face and surprised reaction and walked back to him to engulf him in a warm embrace.

"Ken, good luck! I wish you lots of luck in your love life." He blushed at my cheer for him as I exited the shop.

I was happy for Ken, but something felt off about that girl... I'll just keep a close watch on Ken if something happens between them!

I'll protect Ken-nii this time around!
