Crazy Bitch

Title: Crazy Bitch
Author: @LivinOffThriftStores
Genre: Humour

Parts 1-6

-The first paragraph of the first chapter is captivating, and gives us a feel of Genia's personality so points for that. After a while here I kind of got lost in the dialogue between Genia and Rose and had to go back and read it all again to really get what was going on, no points given or taken. I liked the whole suspense around the new boys but it was as if they kind of just showed up out of nowhere at Genia and her friends' designated spot. I mean, they had just gotten there, how did they even find it? I did also find the fact that they were fighting over a hangout spot to be slightly unrealistic. I mean, I get that their spot is important to Genia (not as much to her friends the way I saw it) but I felt the whole thing with the guys and the spot was, as I've mentioned, slightly unrealistic. Their dialogue was still quite interesting to read however.

-I did really enjoy reading Genia's inner monologues. You really get a feel for the type of character she is. So, great job on those.

-In chapter four I found it a bit contradicting that this boy just shows up to her class, practically drags her from her seat and forces her to sit with him (while pretty much holding her chin captive) and Genia does absolutely nothing about it. No matter how hot he is. And neither does the teacher? I find it hard to believe that the teacher would ignore that.

-The part where Jenny just bursts out crying kind of threw me off but I guess it just goes to show how much she cares about Genia.

On a grammatical note:
-Beware of run on sentences, they make it hard to understand exactly what you're trying to convey. I noticed a few of them. I'd suggest reading your work out loud and adding commas whenever you have to pause and take a breath. Just take care not to add too many commas.

-I found a few misplaced words as well and I tried to point out as many as I could without seeming like the grammar police. I would still recommend re-reading your work or having someone else do it for you(because proofreading your own work can sometimes prove tricky.)

What I liked about this book:
-There were some parts in this book that were genuinely funny.
-Your main character, as the title implies, is a bitch and an unapologetic one. It's sort of refreshing to read from the POV of a character who is by no means a 'good girl'
-Your writing style flows very smoothly.
-Your character descriptions are good.

OVERALL
I tried to be a good reviewer and find all the things that were wrong about this book but honestly, I couldn't find very much. It's not the type of book I usually gravitate towards but I actually enjoyed it more than I thought I would. 6.5/10

Oh and by the way, keep the graphics. They showcase your creativity and introduce the chapters!
