Empire Of Jadase: New Day @IamTAX

Title

The title had drawn me in and instantly made me curious as to what the book would be about. It made me think that the book had promise and that I was in for one good read. The title itself has the potential of drawing anyone in. I love it!

The title also implies that this is the first book and hopefully it will become a series. From the beginning, I had high hopes for this book even before I got the chance to read it.

Cover

The cover is beautifully done; it's vibrant and appealing. The font and colours used really do the book justice. It's unique and instantly recognisable. The green, red, and orange really stand out, and the hints of yellow used really make an impact on the cover. The cover really suits the book and makes its point. I read the blurb to the book and from what I have read, the cover really goes well with the theme of the book.

Blurb

The blurb of the book really draws in on the reader's attention. It introduces a multitude of characters and a bit of what's to come. Although it does get a little confusing; it introduces too many characters. Other than that, I have to say that I plan to follow this book until its imminent conclusion.

The writing style is easy to follow (from what I have read in the blurb). It flows nicely and immediately draws you in. It's eloquent, all the while keeping you invested in the story to come.

I'm impressed with how short and direct the description is; it doesn't drag on, or thrust too much information upon the reader, nor does it make them feel that the writer is trying to overwhelm them.

Chapter Impressions

The first few chapters were not what I was expecting (in a good way though). The detail of the chapters was unexpected and honestly made it a thrill to read. The way the writer describes the surroundings and the atmosphere is brilliant. Aside from minor grammatical errors, it still persists and demands attention.

The writing style (as I have previously stated) is easy to follow. The words flow expertly, making it one enjoyable experience.

The characters are instantly relatable and you can't help but root for them, what ever the outcome may be. I honestly think that the writer has the potential to write horror.

From the first chapter, you can't help but feel for the woman you're introduced to from the beginning. I say that the writer has the potential to write a decent horror book because with this book, you're emotionally invested from the get-go. It becomes so relatable and you can't deny that the character harmonises with personal experiences. It almost feels like a betrayal.

(Hence why I started this).

In no way am I saying that the writer hasn't found their own personal or preferred genre. In fact, this writer has become one of my favourites on Wattpad.

I have honestly become a huge fan of this book. It's very interesting and has so much potential to be incredibly successful. If the writer managed to fix the minor grammar errors, I think the book would be something very special.

Writing and Characters

As I have previously stated, I really do love the words used. They make the book feel proper and formal, and seeing as the protagonist is a Prince, this really compliments the writing style.

The characters are easily adored: you can't help but root for them. I honestly can't give enough praise for this book. It is a pleasure to read and experience, to witness the development of the characters.

I can't wait to see where the story and book goes. I plan to follow this book out-with this review as well.

Overall Impression

I am finding it difficult to find faults in this book, however, as I have previously stated, I believe that the grammar could do with a touch-up and a few commas placements could be edited. The paragraphs aren't too long, which is refreshing. I don't think anyone can read a massive paragraph without getting lost or bored. So, this is a great way to write and to get the point across. I personally relished the book. I didn't want it to end. (I'm sure that there are more chapters to come).
