Gideon's pov:

Mabel and I had just gotten back from a hike. It was pretty fun except with a few minor details. Like Mabel complaining, but she managed to pull through and we gazed at the beautiful sunset.

We took a break and ate our lunch. We then proceeded to head down.

We arrived home to a surprise. There was a bundle of cloth with a baby inside. Mabel read out the note beside the baby. 'So sorry for the inconvenience but I don't have long to live' 'I heard you love children and I'm entrusting my child to you' Her name is Mono and she's two months old'

The two of us didn't know what to do. One more child couldn't hurt" "Abel and leti will be happy to have a sibling" I eventually agreed.

The child babbled and clung to Mabel. I softened at the sight.

I poked the baby's nose. "Looks like we'll be your mama and papa from now on"
