The Ninja stare as Jay tries on a Vermillion helmet. "Sorry, guys, nothing."

"Darn, I was sure trying on the helmet was gonna help us figure out who those samurai snake guys were." Cole groans. 

"Me too. Jay, are you positive the helmet doesn't do anything?" Nya asks. 

"Ha! Besides make me look cool?" Jay laughs. "What? I know how to accessorize."

"Hm. Something about this is familiar, though. I just can't place it. Perhaps Master Wu knows." Kai says. They go find Wu, who is resting on a bed. "Master Wu, this helmet. I feel like we've seen it before. Can you tell us anything?"

"Curious. Time..." Wu croaks. 

Kai looks hopeful. "Time?"

"Time waits..." Wu continues. 

"Time waits..." Nya asks. 

"Time waits for no..." Wu falls back asleep.

"Great, there he goes again." Kaylee groans. 

"Uh, Master?" Kai questions. 

Wu wakes up. "Did someone mention lunch?"

Lloyd sighs. "No, Master, no one mentioned lunch."

"Then why did you wake me?" Wu falls asleep again.

"He isn't himself." Lloyd shakes his head, as the Ninja walk out of the room.

"Clearly. Lunch isn't for three more hours." Jay says. 

"Ahh, this is just perfect. Mysterious snake samurai, uh, things attacked Ninjago, Cyrus Borg is missing, and our team is down one master and one Ninja." Kaylee groans. "I don't think we felt this helpless until back when the Overlord was doing his voodoo on Ninjago City. The 1st time." 

Lloyd puts a hand on Kaylee's shoulder. "We've got to get Zane back online. He was the last one to see Cyrus Borg."

"Yeah, except Cyrus Borg is the only one who has the equipment to get him back online." Cole retorts. 

"What about Pixal- Oh wait yeah." Kaylee starts. 

"I might be able to reboot Zane with the computer in the Samurai X Cave. Although I could use some help. Kaylee?" Nya asks.

"Sure thing." Kaylee needs. 

"Well, I'm in." Cole adds. 

"You know I am." Jay grins. 

Lloyd looks a bit sad, before composing himself. "I'll stay. One of us should keep an eye on Master Wu."

"I'll go to the museum and talk to Dr. Saunders. He's an expert on all things Ninjago. Maybe he knows what Master Wu is too weak to tell us." Kai says. 

Lloyd smiles. "Good thinking. Go and see what you can see."

Nya, Jay, Cole, and Kaylee fly over to the Samurai X Cave with Zane, and as soon as they get there, Nya hooks Zane up to the computer.

"Okay, he's hooked up to the main computer. Keep your fingers crossed." Nya says. 

"Come on, Zane..." Jay begs, but nothing happens. "Nope. Still out."

"Hang on. There's something on the video feed." Cole says, pointing to Zane's last memories. 

"Well, this is a surprise. I didn't expect to see you." Cyrus Borg says. 

"Who did you-" Something knocks into Zane, and everything goes black. 

"Um, did I miss something? One second Zane is talking then nothing." Kaylee questions. 

"Okay, let's try again, only slower." Nya slows down the video, but they still see nothing except a mysterious blurry thing. 

"Oh, there you go. Zane was nailed by, uh, some mysterious blurry thing. Hehe." Cole chuckles nervously. 

"Oh, so all we need to do is round up all the blurs in Ninjago. This tells us nothing!" Jay shrieks. 

"Maybe I can slow it down more." Nya tries to but the Samurai X Cave powers down. "We lost the connection."

Kaylee sighs. "Aw, and Zane."

Nya inserts a device into the computer. "Upgrade complete. Say hello to Super Slow Motion." They pause the video to show Acronix with the Time Blade.

"Acronix? I though he got, you know, finished off at the monastery." Cole asks. 

"He did!" Kaylee says. 

"Apparently not. And look, he's still got the Time Blade!" Nya points out, and they continue the video to show Acronix taking Borg.

Jay gasps. "That's why Zane never saw him coming. Acronix fast-forwarded into a blur!"

"But wait. Cyrus Borg said he saw someone approaching before that. But who?" Nya asks, as she plays the video to see Dr. Saunders smiling evilly. 

"That's...Dr. Saunders." Jay says.

"Hold on. That means he and Acronix..." Cole starts. 

Cole and Jay gasp together. "Are working together!?"

"And he's hooked up with those slithering Samurais too." Kaylee gags. 

"Oh, I always knew there was something snakey about that guy!" Jay exclaims. 

"No, there wasn't. Dr. Saunders is such a kind old man. Remember all the school field trips to the museum?" Nya questions. 

"Exactly! And how boring were those?" Jay asks. 

"I kinda liked them," Cole says.

"I hated them," Kaylee says.

"The point is, he's definitely gone full snake now." Jay shakes his head. 

Nya gasps. "And Kai is headed right into that snake's nest!"

Nya, Cole, Kaylee, and Jay rushes out the Cave.

"Hurry! We've got to get to Kai before that double-crossing Dr. Saunders does!" Nya says. 

"What about Zane?" Kaylee questions.

"He'll be fine. I've got him on a restore and reboot protocol." Nya assures. 

They drive toward the museum but see the Snake Samurai Warriors attacking the city, rounding up citizens. 

"Uh, guys, look who's back." Cole points. 

"Oh, now what are they up to?" Jay groans. 

"They're either kidnapping more people or organizing a parade." Kaylee comments.

"Aw, I love a parade. Nya, keep going to the museum. We'll deal with these guys." Jay orders. 

"Ninja, go!" Jay and Cole hop out of their vehicles, as Kaylee touches down and begins fighting the Warriors.

"Looks like somebody wants to play! Wish we had the rest of the team here to help." Jay says. 

"Well, say hello to our newest members. Lefty and Righty." Cole uses his Earth Punch, but can't control it, and flies into a car, setting off the alarm. "Oops. Wow, if I'm not more careful, I can take all of us out."

"Lefty, Righty, nice to meet you. Also, do better!" Jay yells as Kaylee pulls out Cole from the car. 

"Okay, okay." Cole uses it again, but just breaks more stuff, flinging everything everywhere, as Kaylee and Jay try to dodge them, as the Snakes watch confusedly.

"Cole, seriously!? Watch where you're throwing those things!" Kaylee yells. 

"It's out of my hands! Aah!" Cole shrieks. 

"It is your hands, you idiot!" Kaylee retorts. 

"I'm still trying to get used to them!" Cole fires back.

"Okay. How about getting used to them in their direction?" Jay questions, pausing for a second.

Cole accidentally launches Jay into a dumpster. "Jay!"

"Oh my god-" Kaylee groans, but Cole's hands then launch her into the same dumpster as Jay. 

Cole rushes over to the dumpster. "Hurry, guys. Get out of there."

"Just don't hurt me." Jay groans, as they get out, but the streets are empty.

"Uh, hey. What?" Cole questions. 

"Where'd they go?" Jay asks.

"More like how did they disappear," Kaylee says. 

They go back to the Samurai X Cave.

"So it looks like Acronix and Krux are working with those Samurai snakes." Nya shakes her head.

"Yeah, but why are they kidnapping all of Ninjago's builders?" Jay asks. 

"There is still way too much we don't know here." Cole shakes his head. 

"Yeah, like how you STILL CAN'T CONTROL YOUR DAMN HANDS!" Kaylee yells. 

"Like, was Krux lying, or are my parents really...traitors?" Kai mumbles.

"You seem lost in another place...or time. What is it?" Nya asks, walking over to Kai. 

"Uh, what if everything you believed in turned out to be a lie?" Kai asks. 

"What?" Nya questions. 

"I-" Kai starts, but the lights dim, as Zane starts rebooting. 

"Hey, he's rebooting!" Kaylee cheers.

"Four, seven, two, one... nine." Zane says.
