Ladybug's P.O.V

I swung into the courtyard, and hid behind a pole whilst peering out, assessing the situation.
Cat Noir was already there, dodging the Supervillain's sweeping broom. Meanwhile, those under Cleanser's control were running on a rampage, destroying everything.

Suddenly, the broom came close to Cat Noir and I flung out my yoyo, wrapping it around the brooms handle and tugging it away.
Unfortunately Cleanser saw me and, using his broom like a fishing rod, yanked me towards him. I cried out, then hit the ground, landing next to Chat Noir.

Chat Noir turned and grinned at me like a cat with cream and said, with a bow,
"Looking purrfect as always M'lady" then he turned towards Cleanser with an almost-pouty frown and added,
"but I can't have you falling for anyone else but me"
I felt myself slightly blush at this, but quickly supressed my stunned feeling and turned to him with a smile, deciding to give him a shock,
"You're right Kitty, it's time for us to clean up the situation".

He turned to me with an almost serious surprise, his green eyes wide, then a smile puckered his lips and he titled his head,
"Why Bugaboo, was that a pun I heard?"

I laughed and was about to reply when Chat Noir suddenly cried out and shoved me out of the way, falling on top of me, just as Cleanser's broom smashed through the air.
I quietly grumbled under my breath,
"That is why you don't joke around when someone has been Akumatized".
Though, judging by the twitch of Chat Noir ears and the tightening of his mouth, I could tell he had overheard me.

Turning away, he sprung into action, taunting the villain and trying to grab the broom, though he wasn't having much luck. With a small sigh I swung down and also tried to get the broom away from him. Both of us attacking Cleanser from either side.

Chat then drew out his baton like a sword and tried to battle it out that way, advancing but still not close enough. He batted almost every defence-crumbling area but still wasn't having enough success. He gritted his teeth and shouted,
"M'lady, its getting a bit hard to get a handle on this situation!"
Just then, Cleanser whacked Chat Noir with the handle of his broom like a baseball bat, and Chat was flung against the wall with a sharp exhale of pain.

Cleanser cackled and said,
"You know I'm going to beat you anyway Ladybug and Chat Noir... BUT I'll spare you the pain if you give me your miraculous!"
"Never!" Chat Noir and I fiercely responded.

Cleanser mused for a moment, evidently listening to Hawk Moth, then said with a smirk,
"Very well then." Lifting his arm, he pointed towards Chat Noir and I, commanding his slaves,
"Get them!"
At once, all those under his control stopped destroying the school and instead turned in our direction, at once trying to grab us.

We tried our best but there were too many of them, I knew that if Cleanser were to be defeated, we needed to regroup and come up with a plan first.
"Chat!" I yelled, to get his attention. He glanced over at me, indicating he had heard me, then resumed fighting off Cleanser's people.
"Regroup!" I said as I rebuffed the advances of some of Cleanser's slaves that had come too close for my liking.

Chat Noir nodded and I could see that he understood my thinking. He at once struck down all those around him, and, using his baton as a vaulting pole, sprung up and out of the school, to go to our usual rendezvous point.

I turned, about to follow, when Cleanser's Broom flung out of nowhere and I felt it's harsh bristles sweep across my face.

3rd Person P.O.V

Ladybug dropped to her knees, looking down towards the ground. Cleanser gave a delighted chuckle, for he knew that his, or rather Hawk Moth's, ploy had worked. Whilst Ladybug and Chat Noir had been distracted by his army, he had moved to a higher point, ready to throw his broom at the right moment.

He advanced and stood before Ladybug, who was now bound to his will.
Cleanser heard Hawk Moth give a nefarious cackle.
"Excellent work Cleanser. Everyone knows that Ladybug is stronger than Chat Noir. With her under your control you will easily be able to get Chat Noir's miraculous!"

Cleanser took a moment to relish this moment of victorious fate then spoke to Ladybug.
"You" he said, somewhat pointedly. Ladybug looked up and compliantly asked,
"Yes Cleanser?" He gave a quiet laugh at this, then instructed her,
"Go and get Chat Noir's miraculous. Then bring it back to me!"
"Yes master" she said, bowing her head. Then the controlled heroine stood and turned away, swinging towards the point where she knew Chat Noir was waiting for her.
