Gideon

"What do you want?" Me and Gideon 2 asked.
"I want this copier."
"No way!" Me and Gideon 2 protested.
"Fine, fine, I understand. What about... the original Gideon?"
"What?" I asked. "No way!"
"Your clone could replace you at the Shack, and then you can be mine, Gideon. Forever."
"No!"
Mabel laughed. "Fine, fine. I was only kidding. I'll leave you both alone...for now."
She walked out, and me and Gideon 2 sighed in relief.
"Now, you go to the ticket booth. If Grunkle Stan asks why you were gone-"
"Say I was in the bathroom. Got it. And you try to break up Pacifica and Dipper."
"Good. Now, let's go."
We walked out of the office, and Gideon 2 went out the Gift Shop exit outside, and I went into the party, careful to avoid Grunkle Stan.
I looked around. Mabel was sitting down with two girls I guessed were her friends, laughing at someone, and Wendy was still DJ-ing. I didn't see Grunkle Stan anywhere, so I figured the coast was clear to find Pacifica and Dipper. I pushed through the crowd, looking everywhere, but I could find Pacifica or Dipper anywhere. What if she was in trouble?
I ran up to where Wendy was DJ-ing.
"Have you seen Pacifica?" I asked. She shook her head, and pulled off her leather jacket. "Maybe she went outside to cool off. With all these people sweating, it's super warm."
"Thanks." I said, and walked back to the dance floor. I can't go outside, my clone is out there! I tried to think for a moment.
I did one last sweep of the party room, but still no Pacifica or Dipper. I was stumped on what to do.
It looked like I had to go outside.
I was about to walk away from the party, when I felt an arm grab me.
"Gideon, meet my friends!" I turned around to face Mabel. "This is Candy, and this is Grenda."
"Hello." The Asian girl wearing a green blouse and pleated skirt said, not looking up from her phone. She had long dark hair and brown eyes.
The other one, a girl wearing a pink shirt and shorts who had a petite figure, wasn't even looking at me. She was splashing Pitt Cola at a girl while Candy recorded it with her cell phone.
Candy then looked away from the fight and at me. "Are you Pacifica's brother?"
"Cousin, actually." I said.
"Ugh, how unfortunate. I heard she's trying to get with my guy. If you see her, make sure to tell her to stay away from my Dipper."
"Hey, Candy, do you want to get more Pitt Cola to spill?" Mabel asked.
"Sure." Candy said, and Mabel and Candy walked away, while Grenda was yelling at the girl she spilled soda on.
I took the chance to go to the door, but then Mabel grabbed my arm. "Come with us, Gideon!"
"Sorry, I've got to go do something."
"Really?" She frowned, and leaned in to whisper in my ear. "Are you sure? I can drag your clone in here and tell everyone."
I sighed. "Fine."

Pacifica

Me and Dipper were getting tired from dancing, so we decided to go outside.
We both strolled through the forest, talking.
"And that's how I got kicked out of my preschool." I said.
"I had no idea you could be kicked out for cutting a bunch of girls' hair."
"Oh, no, that wasn't why. I decided to start offering nose piercing. I stuck a tack into someone's nose and they had to go to the ER."
"Wow." Dipper laughed. "Yikes."
"My parents never punished me for it, though. They were too busy and our nanny never knew about it."
After a few seconds of silence, Dipper looked at me and we stopped walking.
"You look really beautiful, tonight." He said, complimenting me. I felt my heart begin to beat faster.
"T-thanks." I said, looking down shyly. Don't blush, Pacifica, don't blush. "You look nice tonight, too."
"Thank you." Dipper's hand closed around mine. "But you look even better."
I looked up at him, and silently gulped. He was holding my hand! What should I do?
"Pacifica... I kinda like you."
It felt like my heart was beating out of control. "Y-you do?"
"Yes."
Suddenly he leaned in, and kissed me. My cheeks felt like they were blushing so much that I must have looked like a tomato.
I pulled away, surprised. I had no idea what to do. I was completely unprepared for a kiss!
"Are you okay?" Dipper said. "I shouldn't have kissed you if you didn't want me to."
I opened my mouth to speak, but no words came out. I let go of his hand and turned to run.
"Pacifica?" He called after me, as I raced through the trees.
I didn't reply. I liked him too, but I was no nervous. I had no idea what to do now. Or if we were now dating because we kissed.
Suddenly, I bumped into something hard. I looked up to see a large creature with green, rough skin, pointed ears, with mushrooms growing on his shoulders and sharp teeth. It looked like something in Gideon's journal I had seen once when I borrowed it from him.
"A Gremloblin!" I gasped, looking up into its red eyes. Suddenly, I remembered a section from the journal that said looking into its eyes would make me see my worst nightmare.
I tried to look away, but it was too late. I fell against a tree, trembling, as everything seemed to shatter and break into a thousand pieces, then fell away to reveal what was apparently my worst nightmare. I tried to close my eyes, but the nightmare stayed.
Around me, I saw everything burning in a blue fire. I was covered in blood and cuts. Mabel stood in front of me, and behind her was a pile of bodies of almost everyone I knew. Her eyes were glowing blue along with the amulet on her headband, and she held out a blue ring.
"No! Stop!" I screamed, backing up as my fingers dug into the dirt. "What are you doing?! Stop!"
She morphed into Dipper, still holding out the ring.
"Take...it..." Multiple voices whispered in my ears.
"No!" I shook my head, tears clouding my eyes. "This isn't real! Make it stop!"
Then, the nightmare Dipper grabbed my hand and forced the ring on my finger. The blue flames grew higher and higher to cover the sky.
I tried to close my eyes, but it felt like they were forced open. I couldn't get rid of this nightmare. What even was this?! How could it be my nightmare if I didn't even know what it was about?!
"DIPPER! DIPPER!" I screamed, hoping that I was also screaming outside of the nightmare. "HELP ME! MAKE IT STOP! MAKE IT STOP!"
Suddenly, the nightmare fell away in darkness.
