He's Trying To Kill Me
I honestly think many of you will know where I got this idea! Please enjoy~
PS: Don't ask about the song, I just thought it fit in some weird way. Okay now to the oneshot~
Pacifica heard the door to the attic open and he climbed up. She glanced at a nearby clock before realizing that it was broken. She couldn't exactly tell how long he had been gone but she knew it was quite a while. "Where have you been?" She asked him, quickly leaving their game of chess-which she had won-to interrogate him. He never exactly said where he was going but Pacifica knew wherever he was going, something bad would happen.
He walked swiftly over to her, a mischievous grin on his face. With one hand, he moved a piece of hair out of her face. And the other, held something that he concealed well enough that she didn't know what it was. "I bought us some time." He murmured, his breath mingled on her face.
The statement confused Pacifica and she gave him a puzzled look. "Time for what? What did you do to my dad?!" She started to freak out a little, she knew Dipper did something and it worried her.
Dipper gripped his hair, growing frustrated. "Nothing!" He promised, "I didn't do anything! I only bought us time!" He looked at Pacifica with almost sorrowful eyes but she saw right through it and saw the crazy side. He reached out towards her and cupped her face in his hands. "They're going to take you away from me. And we have to stay together." He whispered and Pacifica saw a plastic bag in his hand. "But I've found a way for us to stay together," he moved his hands away from her face while uncovering what he had concealed in his hand before. A plastic bag.
Full of pills
Pacifica stared at him, like he was crazy-which she knew he was-and slowly realized what he meant. "Y-you mean commit suicide?" She gasped, and took a tiny step back, hoping he wouldn't realize.
He nodded briefly, before gripping the young blonde by her shoulders. "Don't you see? This is the only way we can be together. And if this isn't enough," he pulled another plastic bag out of his pocket and showed it to Pacifica, "we have these."
"Where did you get those?" Pacifica asked, trying not to show how terrified she actually was.
"Your father has a lot of prescription drugs for his patients." Dipper explained. He knew that her father would wake up any minute and catch them in the act, so he had to act fast.
"What did you do to my dad?!" Pacifica asked again, realizing that Dipper had done something.
"Nothing!" Dipper screamed, "I only knocked him out to buy us some time!" He grabbed her arms and made her look in his eyes. "Because we're running out of options!" Pacifica knew that what Dipper was saying, was true. Her father didn't like Dipper because of his mental state while her mother had nothing to say at all. "It's like Romeo and Juliet." He explained. "A tragic love story."
"You're right." Pacifica nodded slowly. "It's the only way we can be together."
Dipper nodded and knew that she finally understood what he meant. "Alright," he mused starting to slowly open the bag of pulls.
"Can we do it in the bath?" Pacifica finally got the courage to ask.
"What? No, why?" He asked hoping that she wasn't having second thoughts about the whole 'die because we love each other' situation.
"Because it'll be calm and I can light some candles." She explained in a quiet voice hoping that he would understand.
Seeing that this is what she really wanted, Dipper nodded. "Yeah, okay."
Pacifica kept a solemn face and she whispered, "I'll go draw the bath." She turned towards the attic door and slowly made her way down the ladder, Dipper watching her all the way.
Dipper was smiling slightly, because he knew that Pacifica would do this with him. He loved her and she loved him. Right after she disappeared from the attic and he couldn't see her anymore he heard a scream, "Help! Dad! He's trying to kill me!" Dipper's eyes widened in panic realizing that he should've known this would happen. "Pacifica!" He shouted, "no!"
Pacifica ran down the stairs in attempt to find her father who could keep her safe, she turned in circles trying to figure out why he wasn't replying to her and coming to her aid. Dipper knocked him out, she remembered what he had said up in the attic. She heard footsteps pounding down the stairs and she knew she had to run. She ran, hearing how close he was behind her, to the front door and swung it open. She ran off the porch and onto the path leading up to the house. The big metal gate was closed and Pacifica banged her hands against it to get people walking on the street's attention. She finally, realizing that no one was going to help her, pulled open the gate and ran out.
Only, to appear back in the house. She looked around wildly racking her brain to figure out what was going on. She never came back inside the house, so how did she get back in? She was in the kitchen standing behind one side of the counter. And he was standing behind the other, blocking a way to escape. She ignored whatever he said and ran out of the kitchen, hoping he would stop pursuing the chase. Unfortunately for Pacifica, he didn't stop. She stopped running right as she reached the side door. Like before, she flung open the door and ran out. To only appear back inside the house. Pacifica felt tears running down her face and she ran out the side door again in her attempts to escape the dreaded house. But she only appeared back in the house, shaking with confusion she ran by the stairs and that's where he was waiting. She turned around to face him, tears falling down her face like a waterfall. "Dipper please," she begged, "I don't wanna die!"
He took a step towards her, making her flinch. "It's too late for that." He whispered, sending a wave of shivers down Pacifica's spine. She closed her eyes and fell to the ground, wrapping her arms around her knees.

"Why am I running 'round the house screaming like a crazy person?" Pacifica whimpered, when she and Dipper sat on the steps.
Dipper decided to keep quiet. He didn't know how to answer that question without telling her the truth. And he knew that she would hate the truth. "Pacifica?" He finally asked, "I need to show you something. And then, I promise you're free to go wherever you want, and I won't stop you." He whispered.
Pacifica looked up at him, should she trust him? This was the man that tried to kill her five minutes ago. "Do you trust me?" He asked. Feeling brave, Pacifica nodded.
This place is disgusting! Was the first thought to cross the teenage blonde's mind as she crawled through the crawl space. Dipper lead the way and he finally turned back to look at her, after he helped stand her up. "Close your eyes." He instructed. She didn't retaliate, she decided that this might be the best time to listen to him. She closed her eyes and let Dipper lead her forward. He gripped her hand tight and lead her to an open pit. "Okay, now open."
Pacifica was thinking of a million things that he wanted to show her. It could've been anything, really. But what he showed her, nearly destroyed her. Her eyes widened and she covered her mouth with a hand to keep from screaming. Lying in the ditch was a body.
Her body
She backed away from the ditch, hand still on mouth, as she cried out. Dipper's eyes were full of tears, "that night when you tried. . .I tried to save you but I couldn't." He silently cried, wrapping his arms around Pacifica who let him. "I figured that if you wanted to die with me, you wouldn't be so sad." Pacifica knew that he was right. She wouldn't of been sad if she had wanted to kill herself with him. But now she knew.

Pacifica gazed out the window silently, she couldn't believe she was dead. "All this time, I thought I was protecting you." She murmured, looking back at Dipper-who was sitting crossed legged on the floor-with a sad expression. "But you were really protecting me."
"That's all I ever wanted to do since u first saw you." He explained.
Pacifica felt a smile tug on the corners of her lips, as she sat down next to him. "Why did you never tell me?" She asked.
"'Hey I'm Dipper. I'm dead. Wanna hook up?'" He rolled his eyes. "No, because every girl would've thought I was crazy."
Pacifica gave him a sad smile. "So now what?"
Dipper looked at her and again rolled his eyes. "Now, you draw a card, and then discard."
She rolled her eyes and picked up her cards off the floor. "I meant what happens to us now?" She asked.
"We'll be the same as we were before." He said, he held her hand tight. "I promise."
Alrighty, I'm assuming most of you guys will be like "omg I can't believe you used this!" But if you don't know, let me know and I'll tell you. But for now, I need rest. Goodnight!!
