A/N: not gonna lie, I was struggling about how to end this 😂😂 it's been awhile

Dipper hadn't seen Pacifica in a week. Every night when he fell asleep, he would remember every single moment they spent together, bringing himself to sob profusely against his pillow.

But eventually it was a Friday night. Gave him some peace of mind knowing he still wouldn't see her. The only issue was that Mabel was having her friends sleep over.

Dipper just assumed he would keep to himself and they would hang out downstairs or in Mabel's room.

But when Dipper was sitting in his bed, reading a book (a murder-mystery because it didn't involve any sort of romance) his bedroom door opened.

"Candy? What are you doing here?" He asked, shutting the book. "Shouldn't you be out by Mabes?"

Candy walked into the room and closer to him. "I heard you were lonely," she admitted kindly. "Wanted to cheer you up."

"Dunno how you could," Dipper sighed.

"Why are you so upset anyway?" She asked. "Looks like you went through a bad breakup or something."

"No," Dipper lied. "Just stressed and tired."

"I can help you de-stress." Candy chuckled.

"No, I don't—"

Before Dipper could say anything, she pressed her lips against his and pushed him down on his bed. Her legs straddled him as she continued to forcefully kiss him.

Dipper eventually managed to break the kiss, and he stared into Candy's eyes. "Why did you do that?"

"Thought it would cheer you up," she giggled. "I mean, if foreplay's not your thing, we can get straight to the act."

"That's not it!" Dipper protested. "The point is I'm not looking for a relationship or a fling. I'm not looking at all!"

"Oh, why not?" Candy pouted.

"I'm just not looking." Dipper explained, trying to get her off of him. "Sure, I'm a high school boy who has primal urges, but I can control them."

"Maybe you should let go of your composure," Candy teased, fiddling with the collar of his white, cotton, shirt. "And have some fun."

"I already told you," he sat up and pushed her off of him, "I'm not looking for anything right now."

"And why is that?" She demanded, crossing her arms. "I don't understand. You've been acting so different lately and it's just because you broke up with that blonde girl."

Dipper froze briefly. And in that scant second, Candy used all of her strength to push him down against his pillows.

"How do you know about that?" Dipper demanded.

"Oh please," she snorted. "You're not as sly as you think you are, Dipper Gleeful. I saw the way you looked at her. It was obvious that you were totally head-over-heels for this girl."

Dipper remained silent. Candy was smarter than the average high school girl, but why the hell did he have to be so obvious with his feelings?

"But that's over." She rolled her eyes. "Isn't it?"

"I-" He started, but Candy shushed him.

"Oh will you stop being pathetic!" She exclaimed. "Listen, Pacifica is not interested in you! She never was! She was using you! She was going to break up with you, regardless of my note to her."

Dipper looked away from Candy and then it suddenly dawned on him. "Wait, what do you mean by 'regardless of my note'?"

Candy frowned. "Well obviously she needed a bit of a push, Dipper."

"You made Pacifica break up with me?" Dipper sat up so fast, using all of his strength to push Candy off in the process, that it gave him a head-rush.

Feeling terribly disorientated, he tried to find his way around his bedroom, desperately trying to find a pair of shoes so he could leave as soon as possible.

"Dipper!" Candy called as he rushed from the room. "Where the hell are you going?!" She demanded.

"Nowhere!" He yelled back as he ran down the stairs, nearly tripping and falling several feet down.

Now Mabel and Grenda had been alerted about it. "Dipper?" Mabel echoed. "What the hell?"

"Can'ttalkrightnowMabelIreallyhavesomewhereelsetobe!"

"Dipper, what the fuck?"

* * *

Much to Pacifica's dismay, Cody was at her house watching a movie with her. She was really surprised that her parents allowed him to stay this late. After all he was a boy and it was almost midnight.

"Paz, you look distracted." Cody suddenly commented. "Are you okay?"

She forced herself to smile. "Of course I am."

"Okay, you can tell me anything, y'know." He replied.

"I know." was all she said.

Pacifica turned her attention back to the movie they were watching. That past week had been the worst five days of her life!

For starters, she was blackmailed into breaking up with her secret boyfriend, Dipper Gleeful, and she was stuck in an unhappy relationship with a guy who her parents picked out for her. And above anything else, she broke Dipper's heart.

She'd never seen him that upset before and it just destroyed her inside. Every time she closed her eyes to go to sleep, she'd see his face when she told him that they were breaking up.

She would've spent more time mulling over the past five days, but a harsh knock on the front door made her jump out of her head.

Cody looked over at her. "You aren't expecting anyone, are you?"

She shook her head. "No, I didn't invite anyone else over." She sighed.

The knocking continued and it annoyed Pacifica to death. "I'm going to answer the door." She told Cody as she rose from the couch.

Cody snatched her wrist. "What if it's a crazy person?"

"I can fend for myself, Cody." Pacifica snapped, ripping her limb out of Cody's pretty weak grip. "God, you sound like my parents!"

Pacifica walked over to the door and slowly opened it. Her gasp of shock was muffled by the creaking of the door.

Dipper Gleeful stood before her, panting, soaking wet, and most likely in his pajamas. His usually neat and perfectly tidy hair was all over the place and even sticking up at certain points. He looked a wreck, but yet Pacifica found him incredibly handsome and desirable.

Pacifica quickly stepped outside and wrapped her arms around herself, hoping that the rain wouldn't get her too wet. "W-what are you doing here?" She whispered.

"I know what happened." Dipper said breathlessly.

Pacifica took a second to take in her surroundings. Dipper stood before her, white t-shirt, and boxers. He was crazy. "You're crazy." She muttered. "What do you mean?"

"I know why you broke up with me." He continued.

"I broke up with you because I don't love you." Pacifica stuck to her story, just like she was supposed to.

"No, that's a lie, Pacifica." Dipper ran a hand through his soaked hair, causing water droplets to fly everywhere. "I know that you were blackmailed."

Pacifica's expression hardly changed. It took effort though. "You. . .you know?"

"Most importantly, I know who was blackmailing you." Dipper stated. "Candy."

It all made sense. Of course Candy would know about her secret relationship with Dipper, she knew everything. It was actually really scary. Also, everyone knew about her huge crush on Dipper. It was kind of obvious.

But it didn't solve her problems. "Regardless, what do you think that accomplishes? Nothing changes! I'm still with Cody!"

Dipper turned away for a split second. "But you don't have to be!"

"I do." Pacifica responded. "You know I have to."

"You don't love him!" Dipper shouted. "Why are you forcing yourself to be unhappy for the rest of your life, Pacifica? It's time you start looking inside your heart and asking yourself the question; who are you? And what do you want?"

Pacifica's lip trembled and she turned away from him to collect herself before telling him to leave. It was hopeless.

"Because I know what I want." Dipper said, his voice softer than before. Barely above a whisper, he continued, "and what I want is you."

"What the hell?"

Pacifica froze at the sound of Cody's voice. She looked at him.

"What is he doing here?" Cody demanded, glaring at Dipper. "Get the hell away from my girlfriend!"

"Cody, stop." Pacifica whispered.

"I don't want to give you an ultimatum, Pacifica." Dipper said, surprising both of them. "But it's either me or him. Figure out what you want."

"That's an easy choice, Gleeful." Cody scoffed. "She's going to choose—"

"Dipper."

Cody faltered. "What? You don't know what you're saying."

"I do know what I'm saying." Pacifica pushed away from Cody. "And I'm choosing Dipper."

"I knew you'd come to your senses, sweetheart." Dipper smiled. "Cody, it appears you are the unwanted one. Leave."

Cody grumbled to himself for a second before walking off to his car and once he was in it, he drove away.

Pacifica stood there for a moment, not knowing how to go on from there. She leaned closer to Dipper and placed a small kiss on his cheek. "Wanna watch a movie?"
