Requested by Mabel--Pines Hope y'all enjoy!

"God she looks exactly like him." Mabel smiled slightly, stirring her tea slowly before taking a sip. "I can't get over it."

Pacifica chuckled and sat across from Mabel, "yeah it's amazing."

"Amazing, some may say," Mabel took a small sip and glanced at Pacifica over her tea cup, "but others would say Omen."

"An Omen?" Pacifica raised a brow, "don't say that little Angel is an Omen."

"Ha, that's ironic." Mabel chuckled quietly, "Angel is an Omen."

"She isn't, Mabel," Pacifica warned in a low tone. "And don't say that around her. I want to keep her away from all this magic and the things we can't explain."

"You want to keep her from what she is?" Mabel's eyes widened instantly. "Pacifica, Angel is supposed to know everything."

"I can't tell her," Pacifica whispered, glancing behind her to make sure that Angel wasn't listening in. "I don't want her to know."

"She'll find out eventually, and she won't be happy." Mabel warned.

"Well I'm protecting her now." Pacifica frowned, "and I will do exactly that."

"Why can't you tell her?!" Mabel's voice rose. "What exactly are you afraid of? The fact that she might be more like him than you want?"

"Who's he?" Pacifica winced at Angel's voice.

"He's no one important, sweetie." Pacifica smiled at her daughter, "now go play with the cats."

Angel ran off and giggled.

"Oh so he's 'no one important' now? How upset were you when-"

"I don't need her to know about him," Pacifica heaved an exasperated sigh. "I just don't want her to know."

"Why? Because you're afraid that she'll be just like him?" Mabel suddenly felt angry.

"No, because of what he was." Pacifica's face began to look pale.

"He was power crazy and it killed him, we all know that, but you can't keep him from her." Mabel explained, "you'll have to tell her."

"Just....not now." Pacifica glanced back at Angel who was teasing the kittens with a piece of yarn. She laughed as the kittens jumped and Pacifica felt a twinge of sadness.

"Alright, when?" Mabel asked.

"Mabel, please, I'll do it. But Angel and I have business to take care of, so please go." Pacifica walked Mabel to the door before whispering, "please don't tell her."

"Fine." Mabel said, but she knew that she was lying.

"Thanks for coming over, Gideon, I really need your help with this." Pacifica said, giving her cousin a quick hug.

"No problem, so where is she?" He asked, looking around for Angel.

"She's drawing." Pacifica explained. "Now please help me with this."

"So what did Mabel say?" Gideon asked, as he took a seat next to Pacifica.

"She thinks Angel is an Omen and that she's connected to him somehow." Pacifica gave a quick explanation of what Mabel has said earlier.

"Connected, how?" Gideon raised an eyebrow. "How could she be connected to him?"

"I dunno, she's crazy." Pacifica looked up as she heard the sound of little feet running into the room.

"Mommy mommy, look at this picture I drew!" Angel exclaimed holding up her picture for Pacifica to see.

"It's beautiful!" Pacifica exclaimed, smiling at her. "I'm sure your father would love it."

Angel grinned and ran off again.

"She draws pictures for Dipper?" Gideon asked.

Pacifica hadn't heard the name in a long time. She made Mabel refer to Dipper as 'him' because she couldn't hear the name again. "No Gideon, she just draws."

"I doubt Angel is a catalyst or a connection to him." Gideon looked around the house. "You sure you're alright? You could always come and stay with me at the Mystery Shack, bring Angel to."

"No, I think I'll stay." Pacifica nodded. "But thank you."

The next day, Gideon made Pacifica get out of the house so they could hang out like they used to. "Just watch her, okay?" Pacifica asked Mabel before walking out the door.

"I promise I will." Mabel swore. "Have a good time!" She called before shutting the door. "Angel? Where are you?"

"I'm over here, Aunty Mabel!" Angel ran into the kitchen to meet up with her aunt.

"Angel, I have to ask you something." Mabel said really quietly.

"What is it?" Angel's icy blue eyes widened.

"Could you follow me?" Mabel led Angel to a room and drew a circle on the floor. "Stand in the center of that circle."

Angel obeyed. "What game are we playing?"

"Angel I need you to focus." Mabel looked around. "Alright I need you to shut your eyes tight, and picture your father."

"But I don't know what he looks like," she stated rather glumly, "mommy won't tell me."

"Just try." Mabel urged.

Angel shut her eyes tight and scrunched up her face. "I see. ..He has dark brown hair and....it's messy. He's tall...not super tall but taller than you, Aunty Mabel. His eyes....are like.....they are a lightish blue."

"Keep your eyes closed." Mabel whispered.

Angel suddenly covered her face with her hands. "No! Go away! Don't hurt....leave me alone!"

"Angel?!" Mabel was now worried.

Angel suddenly stopped shrieking, and lifted up her head slowly. She grinned widely, "the spirit protected me!"

".....what spirit?" Mabel suddenly grew concerned.

"He took all the demons away and told me that I was to be protected." Angel grew serious. "He promised me that he'd protect me."

"He....He did." Mabel bit her lip, right as Pacifica entered the room.

"I knew something was up!" Pacifica exclaimed, outraged. "Mabel I told you-"

"Mommy mommy!" Angel leapt into Pacifica's arms. "He told me to tell you something."

"Who?" Pacifica looked confused.

Angel giggled, "I miss you dearly and wish you the best in life, Pazzie." She leaned closer to her mother's ear and whispered, "I'm waiting for you."

Pacifica's eyes widened as she looked at Angel. "H-how do you know?"

Angel shrugged and wiggled out of her mother's grasp, running off to play. "Bye mommy!"

"He's......"

".....alive?"

Mabel and Pacifica exchanged glances. "Believe me now, that they're connected?" Mabel gave Pacifica a serious look.

". ...I think so."
