Morgann and I jumped up and down when One Direction popped out from the stage. I made eye contact with Louis and I just knew that he knew...if that makes sense. They burst into Rock Me:

Just can't lie was the best time of my life

Soon the song was over and Morgann and I were breathless from singing/shouting the song. They sang a few more before Louis said something into the microphone. "I'm dedicating this song to my lovely girlfriend Eleanor," and everyone cheered. "And my childhood bestfriend Chloe!" And then he made more eyecontact sending me a quick wink before the rest of the band broke into song:

Your hand fits in mine like it's made just for me

But bear this in mind it was meant to be

And I'm joining up the dots with the freckles on your cheeks, and it all makes sense to me

By the time the song ended Morgann and I were both in tears. Don't ask me why, we just were. It's just something that happens when Directioners get together and sing a song directed towards low self esteem girls. You had to be there. "Is it over?" Morgann whined as the song came to an end. I nodded and wiped the tears off my cheeks.

"Let's go backstage." I replied hooking my arm through hers. We made our way down the hallway that led to the back room and flashed our passes to a secruity guard before entering. As we walked in the room Morgann and I both "wowed": There were 5 long tables set up (soup, salad, meat, dessert, and drinks) as if we were staying for dinner instead of an after party, and the room was filled with guests who looked like family and friends. I instantly recognized Louis's mum and looked at her. She still had that long chestnut colored hair, and the same pale green eyes, but I could hardley see this as the woman who used to bake me and Louis cookies because she had worry lines, smile lines, and crow's feet. When she saw me looking at her, her eyes widened and she made her way over to me and Morgann.

"Chloe? Chloe Thomas? Is that really you?" Johannah asked.

"Johannah. I've missed you." I replied as she swept me up in a hug.

"Louis mentioned you, but I didn't think you were actually here." Johannah said as she held my shoulders at arms length. "You look so much older!" She exclaimed as I tucked a stray piece of hair behind my ear.

"Thanks. After the whole shooting thing during the X Factor, I just decided that if Louis knew where I was he might try and drop out, and that could not happen. I knew that he had big things in store for him." I said. Morgann looked back and forth between us. "Oh yeah sorry. Morgann this is Johannah Louis's mum, and Johannah this is Morgann my bestie." I added giving Morgann a squeeze.

"Nice to meet you." Morgann said extending her hand. Johannah shook it and studied Morgann.

"Do I know you from somewhere?" Johannah asked Morgann.

"Um, haha." Morgann let out a nervous laugh before the boys walked in and everyone turned.

"Vas happenin?!" Zayn shouted as he emerged from the back of the group. This triggered laughter from all over the room. Eleanor walked through the door, ran to Louis and wrapped her arms around his neck.

"You did so good!" Eleanor sqealed before pressing her lips to his. I sucked in a sharp, uncomfortable breath.

"You okay?" Morgann whispered. I nodded.

"Yeah. Why wouldn't I be? I don't like him, we're friends." I responded after the crowd stopped "awww" ing. Louis spotted me and left Eleanor, causing her to give a dirty look. I couldn't help but smile.

"Chloe! I've missed you so much!" Louis cried as he picked me up and wrapped me in a hug. Eleanor walked over and crossed her arms.

"Sooooo...." Eleanor said dragging out the word. Louis put me down after he finished laughing.

"Did you say something Eleanor?" Louis asked confused. Eleanor rolled her eyes.

"Nevermind." She replied annoyed. Eleanor grabbed Louis's hand in hers and pulled him over to the dessert table. "Want to split a cupcake?" She asked unwrapping it and taking a bite.

 "Um, well Chloe and I were going to get caught up." Louis replied pulling himelf out of her grip and walking back over to me.

 "Wow he just ditched his girlfriend for you." Morgann whispered nudging me with her elbow.

 "Shut up, I told you that we're just friends." I responded quickly.

 "Whatever you say." Morgann said crossing her arms.

 "So, where were we?" Louis questioned.

 "Oh yeah! I remember that! You tripped and flipped your tray all over Principle Simons!" Louis exclaimed as we relived 7th grade. 

 "Well, you had braces!" I shot back.

 "Sorry Chlo, but Louis's story wins again." Morgann laughed. We had been telling stories of middle school and Morgann would tell us who had the best and worst stories.

 "Okay let's just face it, I had the worst middle school life." I replied throwing my hands up in defeat. We all laughed and Eleanor walked over.

 "Louis baby, I have to go. I'm having a girl's night out tomorrow." Eleanor said pouting. "Give me a kiss good night?" She added. Louis smiled and quickly kissed Eleanor on the cheek. I smirked and glanced at Morgann. The made a heart with her hands and I rolled my eyes. 

 "Hey wait Eleanor?" Louis called. Eleanor turned around and came back over.

 "Yes?" Eleanor replied.

 "Can Chloe and Morgann come with you and your friends tomorrow? You know, welcome them into the One Direction family." Louis said. Morgann and I looked at each other, then at Eleanor. Eleanor looked at us with a tight smile.

 "Sure babe. Whatever floats your boat." Eleanor responded. "Meet us at the square at 7:00 sharp. There will be a white limo waiting. Don't be late!" Eleanor added as she marched out the door.

 "You really didn't have to do that." I said to Louis after Eleanor left. 

 "Well I want you guys to feel welcome." Louis replied.

 "I guess we'll be seeing Eleanor tomorrow." I said to Morgann.

 "Oh joy." Morgann answered.

 "Do I look like 1D material?" Morgann asked turning around to face me: She was wearing her ripped high waisted shorts, a pink lace crop top with a white bandeau, her pink sandals, gold hoop earings, and a stack of orange, pink, and gold bangles on her wrist. She had also pulled her hair up into a sock bun, with a french braid going from her neck to the bun.

 "Yes!" I exclaimed. "Do I?" Morgann looked at my white strapless laced crop top, light blue skirt with flowers, and my white wedges. "Does it need something?" I asked.

 "No. It looks perfect." Morgann said putting on one last layer of lipstick. 

 "What about my hair?" I pressed wanting Eleanor and her friends to like me. Morgann huffed turned around and looked at my hair which I had curled, and then glanced at the headband that I had french braided from ear to ear. 

 "It looks great. Now lets go or else we're going to be late." Morgann responded grabbing her purse off the table. I looked at the clock and it was already 6:25. The square was 20 minutes away so better be early. I snatched my Coach purse off the table and rushed out the door. Time to go give Eleanor a better impression of myself.
