*CHLOE'S POV*

 I knew from the start that weening myself off Louis would be as hard as if you suddenly stopped smoking, but it proved to be a harder task than that.

 Whenever our hands would just barely brush against each other, or we would have to be in the same room together, the fact that we were distancing ourselves from each other seemed to be the only topic of conversation, and I definitely didn't want to bring that up. 

 I sighed and clicked the remote to a different channel, still seeing nothing but trash. Liam and Carleigh were sitting with me, giggling softly and just talking. I wish my life could be that simple, but I already had my shot at a relationship like that. 

 "We have to head out, but we'll see you around." Carleigh told me, giving me a hug.

 "Yeah, sounds good." I smiled, waving as the left.

 When they were gone, I slumped back on the couch, already missing the company. It's been two months since Louis and I decided to stop talking, and it's been complete hell. Now that the Little Mix tour is over, I don't have anyone and it hurts. It hurts to be alone.

 All I ever wanted was happily ever after, and now it seems I can't even achieve that. Glossy magazine covers, plastered with pictures of Louis and some girl, and short articles about Louis and I, also known as "what once was".

 I was currently living back at my apartment with Morgann, seeing as we finally made up. It's true that we aren't as close as we used to be, but it's better than nothing.

 "Okay! Yes, I know." Morgann giggled, opening the front door.

 "Okay. Love you, beautiful." Hunter said, kissing her and waving before walking off.

 Hunter and Morgann got back together a few weeks ago and they've been inseparable lately. Just another thing that has made me long for a friend, or someone to hang out with. Even Simon is busy!

 "Hey, what's up?" Morgann asked, sitting down next to me.

 "Nothing." I shrugged, still clicking though channels.

 "Are you okay?" She replied, her blue eyes worried.

 "Yeah I'm alright." I answered, tossing the remote on the table when I found some movie.

 "You just look so sad."

 "Not sad necessarily, just lonely." I said.

 "Well, I have an idea." Morgann smiled.

 "Oh, God. What is it?" I groaned, rubbing my hands over my face and yawning.

 "Hunter has this friend, who already made plans with him to hang out, but he forgot and booked this super nice resturaunt for us. So, would you want to be our plus one, and Jason's date?" She replied, still smiling hopefully.

 "Uh-uh, no way." I sighed, standing up to get some water.

 "What? Why not?"

 "I don't do blind dates. That is way too much of a risk." 

 "But, he's cute!" She exclaimed.

 I stood my ground and shook my head, taking a long sip of my water. I placed the bottle on the counter and watched Morgann as she tried to bribe me with puppy eyes, which I was not falling for by the way.

 "You'll get to be out of the house with your two awesome friends, and a new guy. Please, Chloe? For me?" 

 "If I'm going to agree to this," I sighed, "I'm going to need to see a picture."

 Morgann squealed excitedly and quickly found a picture: he had dark hair and light blue eyes. He looked nice and I have to admit that he was very good looking.

 "Fine." I mumbled, going upstairs to get a shower.

 I pulled the knee length dress down my torso and straightened it out, the maroon color flattening. After my shower I had asked Morgann about the dinner and she told me it was dressy, so I pulled out the dress and curled my hair. 

 "Wow." Morgann gasped, appearing in the doorway.

 "Do you think it's too much?" I asked, chewing on my bottom lip.

 I turned to look at the way the fabric hung onto my curves, and I'm not talking about the bad kind. It was strapless and seemed perfect to me for tonight, but you could never be too safe.

 "Absolutley not. You look amazing." She smiled.

 "Thanks, Morgann. You look stunning." I replied, watching the way her colbalt dress caught the light just right.

 "Let's go show those boys what they've been waiting for." I laughed, turning off my light and following her out of the door.
