Chapter 13
*LOUIS'S POV*
"No way." I laughed, as we pulled into the complex.
"Haven't you seen TFIOS?" Niall asked, twisting around in his seat.
"Um, no." I mumbled, getting out and smiling at the box of eggs Calum handed to me.
"Now, in the movie, they throw eggs over heartbreak. For you, it's the opposite; you're doing this to acheive heartbreak in a way. So, aim for the door and enjoy." Calum smiled, seemingly quite pleased with himself.
I picked up an egg and turned it over in my hand, trying to figure out if this was a good idea or not. But then I realized, that she was probably out with Keaton right now, laughing and flirting it up and I'm standing here contemplating whether or not I should throw eggs at her apartment.
I pulled my arm back, aiming for her front door, and released the egg. It sailed through the air, landing with a loud thud near the bottom of the wall.
"Lets get closer." I said, walking up to the front of the building.
I held the egg in my hands, tossing it back and forth between them. We got closer to the front of the building and Calum threw an egg, hitting the bedroom window.
"Yeah!" I shouted, pumping my fist in the air.
This must have been what it really felt like.
This was what it felt like to live without her.
I had been locked inside, thinking there was only one way, but there were so many. So many directions were hidden behind closed doors it seemed like, and yet I had found one that was open.
I didn't need a girl friend in my life to live life to the fullest. I had so many people that cared about me, and I was focused on one person.
Well guess what?
That was about to change.

"I don't even care anymore, Harry! Isn't that just great? I don't even care!" I exclaimed, taking a large drink of my beer.
Harry glanced at me, his face laced with worry.
"Yeah mate, that's awesome, but I think you've had quite enough beer for tonight." Harry told me, trying to take my drink away.
"Stop, I'm fine." I insisted, rolling my eyes.
"Okay, well Louis we have a meeting tomorrow with management and if you go in totally smashed you're going to get us all in trouble." He said, standing up and trying to take the drink again.
I slammed the bottle on the table, spilling beer everywhere, and stood up.
I felt all of my drunken thoughts smash into one another and it made my head hurt. I knew he was right about tomorrow, but for God's sake can't he let me live my life?
"What the actual hell Harry? First you tell me to get over her, you tell me that she's not worth me suffering, and then when I do try to get over her, you change your mind. Don't tell me how to get over someone. If I want to drown my ass in a shit load of alcohol then I will, and I don't think I need your permission to do so!" I yelled, snatching the drink off the table and finishing it off, just for good measure.
*CHLOE'S POV*
"So how was your date with Keaton?" Morgann asked, flipping through a magazine.
"It wasn't a date." I insisted, sitting down next to her. "Hey what happened outside?"
Morgann sighed, rolling her eyes and closed her magazine.
"Why don't you ask Louis, Calum or Niall."
Oh God.
"What did they do? I can't even tell what it is." I asked, glancing at the open window spattered with a dark yellow color.
"They egged the place." Morgann took a sip of the beer she was holding and sent me a look that said "those idiots".
I drew my eyebrows together in confusion, thinking about where I had last seen or heard of someone doing that.
"Wait. Like in The Fault in Our Stars?" I asked, surprised the guys would even know what that was.
"The one and only."
I rolled my eyes, turning on the TV. Morgann went back to her magazine while I looked for something to watch, looking from reality TV, to Disney channel and finally just leaving it on celebrity news.
I got up, walking into the kitchen to grab a bottle of water. I took a long sip, trying to clear my head, when I heard Morgann's magazine hit the floor.
"Morgann, are you okay?" I called, twisting the top on my bottle.
I waited for a response, suddenly scared that there might be a serial killer in our apartment. I started reaching for a knife out of the kitchen drawer before I heard the volume on the TV get turned up.
"Chloe come in here please." Morgann shouted.
I walked in slowly, looking at the TV.
"Jesus Christ what did he do this time?" I sighed, sitting down beside Morgann.
"Just listen." Morgann told me, rewinding the TV and collapsing against the leather couch.
I crossed my arms, prepared for the news report about them egging our house, but was caught off guard. The celebrity news reporter wasn't talking about just Louis, but me and Calum as well.
"It would seem as if we have your newest love triangle to love and obsess over!" The reported said, pointing to the screen on the wall lit up with a triangle.
"Oh you've got to be kidding me." I scoffed, watching the lady point at my head at the top of the triangle and Louis's and Calum's in the corners.
"Now, personally, we've always loved Chloe and Louis together, but we welcome change as well. Isn't that right, Steven?"
My mouth hung open as Morgann paused the TV again. I closed my eyes, letting out a huge sigh and fell over on the couch.
"I don't need this." I mumbled against the couch, my face pressed into it.
Morgann didn't reply but I could hear her fingers flying over her phone's keyboard, most likely summing up the love triangle in 140 characters or less.
"All I can say is pull, babe." She laughed, patting my back.
"Shut up." I groaned, throwing a pillow at her.
"That's a dark road you're headed down, sweetheart." She warned, catching the pillow and holding it, raising her eyebrows.
I laughed and jumped up, about to start running, when the doorbell rang.
"Not it!" I sang, rushing upstairs.
I opened my laptop to check Twitter, and listened to Morgann talking to whoever was at the door. The top trending hashtag was "CouisLoveTriangle". Lovely.
I heard the door close downstairs and sat down on my bed. "You wanna order a pizza?" I called to Morgann.
She appeared in my doorway, her face holding some surprise.
"What's wrong?" I asked, closing my laptop.
"It's for you." Morgann told me, turning on her heel and walking off.
