Chapter 9: The Child

The smoke cleared and Dipper cautiously approached where Bill had been Mabel followed behind. "B-Bill? Are you alive?" Dipper asked. Where Bill had been moments before was a 12 year old version. "You have got to be kidding me." He mumbled. "He's so adorable!!!" Mabel squealed. Dipper winced. "Well this is nice." He said. "You're telling me! I'm like you guys now." Bill replied standing up.

Stan came aroud the corner. "I heard fighting so I came down." He saw Bill. "What happened!?" He asked. "The ray gun happened." Dipper said. Then the ray gun Mabel was holding started to smoke and she dropped it. The gun exploded. The four 12 year olds stared. "Oh no! What are we going to do now?" Mabel asked worriedly. "There goes our only chance." Dipper said. "Not entirely." Bill spoke up.

"When I went out for a walk, i overheard that Gideon fellow talking. He said that he opened the portal. He has journal #2. As a matter of fact, he's planning on taking over both Gravity Falls'." He explained. "Ugh. Gideon! I should have known." Stan muttered. "We have to stop him." Dipper added. "I declare death!" Mabel shouted. "We can't kill him, as marvelous as that sounds," Bill said. "He might have the reversal gun. He said that he made the age changing gun."

"We can't just attack him. We need to form a plan first." Dipper said. "Here we go." Bill sighed. "Dipper's right. We need to prepare ourselves if we're going to face Gideon. He has the second journal against us." Stan said. "And we have the third on our side." Mabel smiled. "On another note, I'm 12! I feel so.... awkward!" Bill started freaking out. "Dude relax. It's not so bad." Dipper said. "It's HORRIBLE!" Bill shreiked before running around the house screaming about awkward sweatiness and strange thoughts and 'emotional overloads'.

"Welcome to my life." Dipper smiled. Mabel was laughing next to him. "This is pretty cool. Although he needs more suitable clothing. Stan, fetch me my knitting kit!" She ordered. "Tomorrow. For now, we all need to sleep. And Dipper, make sure that he's uh... okay." Stan said looking at Bill who had curled up in a corner. "He's stable enough." Dipper replied. "This is a dark day." Bill whispered from his corner.
