Dipper pouted angrily as far away from Bill as he could float. "This was a poorly thought out plan." He mumbled. Bill was floating a few feet away in a cozy position. "Hey at least we have each other." He answered smirking. Dipper froze and then pulled his hat over his face. "Aw come on don't be mad." Bill said trying not to laugh. Then he had an idea. "It's quite... cute." He knew that Dipper hated being called cute.

Dipper gritted his teeth and lifted a side of his hat to glare at Bill who was almost rolling in mid-air from laughter. "I just can't handle that look you're giving me." He said between laughs. "Priceless!" Dipper just grumbled and went back into hiding. An awkward silence followed. Finally Dipper looked down and sighed. "We should be nearing the gun soon." He said. "Do you hate me?" Bill asked all of a sudden.

"Hmm let's see you went into my Gruncle's mind, possesed me for a day, make crazy deals... should I go on?" Dipper asked. He was a bit surprised to see that Bill had of look of what? Guilt maybe? "Look, I didnt mean to sound that harsh but-" Dipper tried to explain. "Aw don't be that way. I deserve to be disliked. I'm a demon." Bill said. He still looked bothered though.

Silence followed yet again. "Uh why do you like to target us anyway?" Dipper asked. "I don't know. Your family is just interesting. But I'm not spilling any secrets." Bill said. Dipper wondered what he meant. "How's that uh, crush thing you have going?" Bill asked smiling. "What!? You urm, know about that?" Dipper asked dumbly. "Of course!" Bill scoffed. "Do tell me the details."

"No! I mean It's not like it's going anywhere." Dipper said. "Aw come on Pinetree! There must be a spark somewhere. I don't know much about what love is but I root for you." Bill said playfully poking his shoulder. As the two talked they had flown closer. Dipper actually felt like he was talking to an older brother instead of a demon. It was nice. "Wait, you mean you don't know love?" He asked Bill. "Well I mostly evolve around hate and pain so nope." Bill answered casually.

"Well maybe we can fix that." Dipper wondered aloud. Bill thought about it. "No. I don't know. Man being human is weird. You just open up to anyone and everyone. Aren't we supossed to like, hate each other?" He asked. He pulled Dipper's hat off and floated back. "Hey!" Dipper cried out trying to grab at him. Bill laughed and put on the hat. "Hee hee look at me! I'm Pinetree!" He joked.

Dipper attempted to move towards Bill using the air around him. He managed to climb on him and snatch the hat. The two wrestled in mid-air for a while then shared a laugh. As quickly as it happened they stopped. Dipper moved back away a good distance and more silence happened. "You know, I guess I could help you guys find the reverse gun so we can all get out of here. No deals or tricks. Promise." Bill said. "Really? Why would you help us?" Dipper asked.

"Because I want to get back in my own body! To admit it, having a human body isn't too fabulous so I want to get back home." Bill answered. "Hm. Fair enough." Dipper answered. "I like this thing." Dipper said motioning at Bill and himself. "This thing we have." Bill looked confused. "What thing?"

  "Our relationship I guess." Dipper mumbled. Bill smiled at that. Dipper wasn't sure what he felt at that moment, but then Bill said, "Look the gun!" The ray gun came into sight and Dipper grabbed at it managing to take hold of it. "Got it!" He smiled. A light came at them...

  Next thing Dipper knew, he and Bill were spat out of the bottomless pit. A very startled Mabel and gang stared at them. "You're back! With the gun!" Mabel said smiling. "I thought you weren't coming back." She said hugging Dipper. "Finally we're back! It was miserable down there." Bill said brushing off his jacket. Part of Dipper hoped that was a lie for the others because he liked to think of that moment as sincere with the demon.
