Nova Warren was the sunshine in human form.

She radiated happiness and joy, instantly lighting up every room she entered. Nova always looked on the bright side, casting out all negative energy. There was nothing in the universe that could ruin her spirits. Her positive outlook on life was what so many people admired the most about her.

Nova's best friend, Tory Nichols, was the opposite. Her outlook on the world was full of negativity, unwilling to let the light in. But the two girls had been friends for so long that Nova would follow Tory anywhere. They did everything together. Seeing them apart was a rarity and their friendship a mystery that baffled many due to their clashing personalities.

After seeing a karate demonstration at Valley Fest, Tory manages to convince Nova to join a karate dojo called Cobra Kai. This leads to an unfortunate falling out between the two best friends, causing the bright and joyful Nova to make it her mission to make Tory jealous. The perfect opportunity comes when Nova gets the idea to befriend Tory's enemy, Samantha LaRusso. The plan was to befriend her and make Tory see that she was throwing away years of friendship.

But the more time Nova spent with Sam, the more Nova's feelings began to grow. Nova didn't mean to fall in love with Samantha LaRusso, but that's exactly what she did. Nova hadn't thought things through. Falling in love with Sam had been an accident. What started as a plan to make her best friend jealous, turns into a nightmare when the feud between Tory and Sam escalates.

Nova Warren was the sunshine in human form, but sometimes, even the sunshine has to step aside for a little rain.

nova is an absolute sweetheart and she deserves the entire world. she's so precious and i love her to pieces. i can't wait for y'all to read her story.
