SYNOPSIS

"I thought they'd be a little less human and a bit more monstrous."

Fifteen teens have never seen life outside the compound's walls. Everything they know about life outside has been preached by the scientists who raised them.

Since The Demise rampaged the planet, humans have become violent and irrational due to a gene mutating virus. Any offspring has resulted in the same mutation. The solution: create new life confined inside the safe walls, raise them to endure Physical and Mental Trials, so they can be fit to rebuild a better future.

Elliot Jane teams up with the unlikeliest of ally-a silver-haired boy she has only heard stories about. Deemed as a 'Nolo' this boy is considered dangerous and is to remain isolated from everyone. But, after Elliot follows a hunch, the two begin to unravel the mystery inside the compound's walls and quickly learn everything is not always as it seems.

Title

The title is creative and unique. An original and one of a kind and captures the plot perfectly.

Cover

The cover is Aesthetically pleasing and was made with much care. The characters, especially EJ, is perfectly situated in the cover but I do recommend to shift the title as it cuts EJ's hands.

Blurb

A very well developed blurb and at one click it directly into yes your readers to ravish through the first chapter. The basic plot was of the story was beautifully portrayed

Hook

Amazing, Hooks your readers at first sight. A beautiful way to begin your chapter and the book itself immediately enhancing me to read on.

Grammar and Spelling

Perfect not a comma out of place and periods placed exactly in place. The vocabulary used was perfect and it huglited the Characters personality and emotions Perfectly. Thought perfect in the first 3 chapters as you progress you do realize a few spelling mistakes here and there and

Characters

Very well thought out and developed characters each having their own diverse and depth way of thinking. Though your introduction was perfect with the amount of characters you introduce, Yous trigger to give enough time and effort to each character which does drag the plot a bit

Each of the characters have Their own unique storylines and plot points and their personalities do seem to clash with each other creating good tension for example between EJ and Solomon and the general conversation between Doctor Diana and Harlow.

Plot

Very interesting indeed, I did have low hopes which were immediately raised after reading the diets paragraph then the first chapter all the way to the 15th chapter. As you dive deeper the plot thickens and is played like a whole movie, very well thought out, it's a mystery itself that the readers have to uncover with Elliott.

Writing Flow

The flow of the story is at a medium pace. It does vary from time to time based on the scene. It does slow down in parts where it should pick up which does turn off readers.

Enjoyment

As I'm not into this genre as much I was surprised at how Beautifully it was written and portrayed amazingly.

Note: I'd like to apologize profusely for the long Waist and the delay in your review as we all know we all have lives outside Wattpad and it caught up to me but I'm glad I was able to finish this review for you.
