────── HEARTBEATS ON THE ROAD.

Jaerim really felt like a passenger princess right now because she was waiting inside the car while Mingyu was out at the food driveway ordering some boba with cakes. She still feels that she was in a deep sleep and is still dreaming with herself as the main cast. Never in her wildest dream did she ever thought that she'd be going for a night ride, let alone with a guy.

She was soon pulled out from her reverie by Mingyu who came in with fresh boba tea and a strawberry flavoured cake which had a cute design and a small letter "SEO" was written with a cute heart at the corner.

"Aww, the cake looks so cute. Thank you Mingyu-ssi"

He replied with a wide smile and started driving as Jaerim took out her phone and click some good aesthetic picture of the food and sent it to her group chat with members with a teasing emoji.

Jaerim took a sip of the boba and ate the cake savouring the taste. She had to remember the place so that she can bring her family and members in future, "This is so tasty. Do you wanna eat some?"

"But I'm driving"

Subconsciously, Jaerim took a scoop in her spoon and brought it closer to Mingyu. "Here"

Mingyu was startled with the sudden action and looked at Jaerim who didn't react but slowly, she realises her action and her cheeks started heating up. She looked at her spoon and the position she was in right now

"Ah.. I am so ───"

Mingyu didn't take the spoon in his hand but held Jaerim's wrist and brought it closer to his lips and ate the cake.

"Thank you, Jaerim-ah"

Jaerim couldn't think of anything but a thin layer of pink tint spread across her cheeks as she retreated her hand back and took a sip of her boba. The way Mingyu called out her name, it melted her because she felt some adoration in it.

"The cake indeed taste good but since you fed me, it tasted extra good"

There he goes again, being cheeky!

"Stop teasing me"

"Hehehehehe"

Mingyu was a good driver as she didn't feel any sense of discomfort while travelling. Mingyu told her that they would be out of Seoul, a special place which means it would at least take few hours to reach there but since he said it will be worth it, it indeed will.

Jaerim has always been cautious with stranger but Mingyu? She doesn't even know how did she ended up here but for now, she isn't regretting.

Jaerim quietly look at the man who was driving quietly with one of his hands whilst the others resting on the window. He was dressed in a simple black polo button down shirt and a pants which was nothing fancy but he looked exceptionally good, his scent was subtle and unique which could make anyone remember him and leave a good impression.

He had a watch on his wrist but that made him look more manly and as the win slowly brushes past him, he's side profile was too hard to ignore. He looked like a goddamn Greek God, straight out of those books which YUE forced her to read.

The way his nose and lips and facial structure aligned perfectly, his beautiful golden-like skin tone ─── no wonder he was titled as one of the most handsome male idol to ever exist. He looked better without the whitewash on his face or body the paparazzi often make. He looked so handsome, with or without make-up too.

"If I were to charge you for admiring me, I think I'd be a billionaire right now"

Jaerim was caught staring but something in her kicks in to give some compliments but knowing that she will be the one getting flustered in the end, she just shake her head and ignored his comments.

The dim lights were illuminating his face structure right now and would be good for picture. "I think, you will look good with this lighting right now. Shall I click a picture for you?"

"Sure. I'll be your muse for today"

Jaerim chuckled and took out her phone before getting serious with her photography with Mingyu sitting there and driving but serving looks effortlessly without even trying.

"Smile a little"

"Lean a bit closer"

"Act like your touching your chin faintly"

The little silly comments made Mingyu laugh out and broke his character but those unexpected candid shots looked more natural and made him look better. Jaerim was satisfied with the shots she took and quickly airdrop it to Mingyu.

"So, would you mind telling me about yourself a little bit? I know some that I got from the internet but still, if you don't mind"

Even after asking her, he was still respectful which added a bonus point to his personality and made it's way into her heart!
No one can blame her because she barely had experience in love while she was busy chasing her dream and her job, so being treated like this could only make her feel giddy and happy like those young teenager who just found their first love.

"Well, I don't know what I should talk about but yeah, I have a younger brother who is like 9 years younger than me, Seo Jaemin. He will start his medical studies next month, he recently passed the medical exam"

"Really!? Thats great! I am sure he will do well"

Jaerim was always proud of her younger brother and adores him so much and everyone knows it too. Their age gap already made it enough for them to interact properly and Jaemin was like her own son too.

"Well, I never expected to get into this industry but then I saw SNSD Sunbae-nim perform in a concert and since then, the idol thing got into my mind...I applied for Pledis but I was rejected because I was too young and they were accepting many female trainees at that time"
