─────  A WINTER's PROMISE

Concert or fanmeet has always been SEVENTEEN's favourite because they could meet their fans and interact with them as they performed for them. Not only will they meet them but also some artists who happened to be joining the concert.

Like today, SEVENTEEN will be having their CARATLAND concert in Seoul which the fans have been lining outside the arena so that they could enter earlier and if they get a chance, meet their idols on their way.

Jaerim got the VVIP ticket invitation from Mingyu and she didn't feel like going alone so she decided to bring LYN and HANA along, who had free schedules. The girls were still on their way towards the concert venue in comfortable outfits because they know that they'll be enjoying the night for sure.

"Yue wanted to tag along so bad if not for her schedules" Hana laughed out and told the two girls after looking at the message their Chinese member sent to the leader which contained a series of sad emojis and stickers.

LYN gave a dramatic sigh as she changed the gear "I never knew that this two couple could be so sneaky like this. Knowing that if only one goes, the allegations would come up but she brought us along. I feel like I'm being used here"

Jaerim laughed out and blew a playful kiss "But you get to enjoy the concert"

"That's true again"

Aside from the personal relationship, LAVELLE really enjoys SEVENTEEN's concert because of their energy that is always full and giving 200% in every performance from beginning to the end. The girls grabbed a cup of boba on the way until they arrived at the arena where they could hear the fans cheering from outside.

The staffs were notified about the arrival of the special guest so, upon seeing the idols, the security immediately led them towards the VVIP parking lot and the staffs around them led them to the sitting arena.

The three didn't care about wearing mask especially LYN and HANA who had good relationship few of the SEVENTEEN members. As soon as they entered the sitting area, Carats who were around cheered hard seeing them and the girls politely greeted them and took their seat.

Because of the members already performing on the stage, Carats were enjoying it and didn't notice them much. They were jumping and joining the fanchant from time to time.

The girls were impressed once again to see the guys perform and clapped after every song as they sang along the song lyrics and tried to do the fanchant but often failing.

Soon, the boys on the stage started interacting with the fans where various questions written in a piece of paper were placed in a box and the members took their turn for each and interacted.

Jaerim was laughing out loud to see how the members interacted with their fans like they have been friends for 3 decades. Soon, it was Mingyu's turn and he dramatically chose the paper and he gave it to Seungkwan who was acting as a host. He opened the paper and started laughing out loud and flashed it to the camera

"Mingyu dancing to LAVELLE's Queencard!"

As Seungkwan read out, the whole arena broke into laughter and especially the members who didn't expect for him to pick out that particular request out of all the requests.

The LAVELLE girls couldn't stop laughing as soon as they saw Mingyu's expression on the huge screen as if he was regretting his choice and looking at his hands. The camera then shifted towards the girls who were sitting.

"Ah even the members are here today! Kim Mingyu!! Don't disappoint them!"

Seungkwan commented and laughed hard while Mingyu just looked at the huge screen before bowing down twice as if he was giving an advance apology.

Jeonghan nudge Jun who was beside him and whispered "I guess Mingyu is tied with Lavelle and Jaerim-ssi forever"

The two snickered as they watched their tall member being so embarrassed as the song started playing.

Mingyu smirked and tried acting cool as he lipsync to the song QUEENCARD and danced the whole chorus, even twerking at the end leaving the members on the floor, holding their stomach from laughing too much while the camera then focused on LAVELLE who all stood up showing their thumbs up to the camera with a dramatic expression.

"Hana-noona! You don't have to act like you liked his cover!"

"Yah!" Kim Mingyu pouted despite his embarrassment in front of his fans and his girlfriend who seemed to be enjoying his embarrassing moments like his members were.

As the concert was finally over, the members took their time to meet the VIP and the idols who came to their concert which took almost 2 hour until they were really free to go home.

Mingyu was the first one to leave the arena and directly drove towards the Han River where he promised to meet his gf. It was already cold so he was dressed in warm dress and pulled his mask as he got down from his car. He walked around to the spot he mentioned and instantly, he found Jaerim sitting while facing the river, eating some foods.

"Babe..."

Mingyu gave his girlfriend a back hug and sat beside her, making cute noise at the site of the hot instant noodles with some convenience food store. Jaerim chuckled and handed him the chopsticks which be quickly took off his mask and started devouring the noodles.

"Are you sure you want to watch the river rather than resting at home? You looked tired"

Mingyu just gave her a toothy grin "With you by my side, I am not tired at all"

Jaerim laughed at his cute pick-up lines and patted his head then she took a bite of her own kimbap and then peeled the egg for Mingyu. The beauty of Han river at almost midnight is something that can't be compared to the dazzling city.

As ordinary as it sounds, it's still has that calming scenic beauty that Jaerim finds it comforting.

"You did so well at the concert. We enjoyed it a lot and also learned a lot of lessons from you guys"

Mingyu finished his noodles and took a sip of the coke and just chuckled "As long as my girlfriend is satisfied, I can say that my performance was successful"

The girl just sighed and shook her head "You're becoming a flirt day by day"

"Only to you, not to anyone else"

"Kim Mingyu!"

The taller guy just laughed at his blushing girlfriend and decided to stop teasing her. He picked up the plastics and dumped it in the dustbin nearby before sitting next to Jaerim, and pulling her into his arm. He took a deep breath and rested his head on top of her head and slightly squeezed her arms

"It feels so good to be here with you and watching the beauty of the river. I feel so blessed"

Mingyu often came to the river at midnight to clear his thoughts and when he needed time. It was a place where he'd try to care for his own sadness and sad memories but never happy memories until today. He was here, with his girlfriend in his arms, happy thoughts filling him and feeling safer than ever.

Jaerim knows what he meant by it and glanced up, placing a kiss on his lips "And I'm thankful to have you with me Kim Mingyu"

As the couple were having their sweet time together, there were small white flakes falling around that made the two couples break their hug and look up to see several snowflakes falling.

Jaerim instantly smiled widely as her eyes twinkled, trying to catch one of the snowflakes and successfully, she did.

"Babe... It's the first snow of this year!"

Mingyu didn't care about the snowflakes anymore because he was already happy seeing how the girl in front of him was happy, eyes glistening from happiness as she try to catch some of the snowflakes in her palm.

He slowly pulled Jaerim into his arms as he rested his arms on her waist.

"Jaerim-ah, I don't really believe the first snow wish that everyone talks about but with you here with me, it makes me want to do the First Snow wish. I wish that we can be together forever, growing old together while our love remains the same as how it is until the end"

Mingyu's eyes were as calm as the lake, his voice was low yet it gave her a sense of comfort. Jaerim smiled and wrapped her arms around his neck

"I wish that we'd be together forever and I hope forever exists for us. I will always love you, Kim Mingyu"

The two couples smiled genuinely at each other as they leaned in for a kiss, under the first snowfall of the year while sharing the same genuine feelings for each other.

When they're in each other's arms, they just feel safe and nothing else seems to matter to them. Just the two young souls deeply in love.
