Within 24 to 48 hours...

Sid: You really did used me as a Bait
Avneet.....

Only his voice was ringing in Avneet's ears as she saw him rushing back to his car with his wobbly legs.

Vaishnavi came to her and shook her
out of her trance.

Vaishu:Didn't i warned you..You are
regretting it now....she muttered and
walked back to her car where Jackson
was silently watching whole thing kinda confused.

Avneet when heard that...she also
rushed back to the main entrance only to find Sid's disappearing car
She was feeling so much stupid..guilty
for everything. She should've listened to vaishu at that time.

She felt a bit of satisfied as Faisu's car
also disappeared after Sid's...

Vai: Where....she asked kind of
pissed.

Avneet simply fell on the back seat of
the car and rubbed her face with both
of her hands.

Avneet:I don't know.. i feel like i am again homeless....she muttered as the last talk with sid  still echoing in her ears....

Siddharth somehow managed to drive
to Jan's place and quickly stumbled towards the entrance.

Sid: Jan...jan...he called for her
as the maid quickly came on his voice.

Maid: Mr. Nigam...A-are you ok....she asked in pure worry as she saw his condition.

Disheveled hairs, red face, swollen eyes and heavy breathing.

Sid: j..jan...he asked while controlling
his sobs and she quickly gestured other maid to call for her.

Jan was in bath when Sid called for her...., that's why she couldn't hear him out. But once her maid knocked on the door with panic voice and told about Sid's  condition, she quickly came out, grabbing some random hoodie and sweatpants, throwing over her body as she ran to the
living room.

Her heart wrenched when she saw him trying hard to breath properly
as her maid was trying her best to make him drink some water.

Sid: sid.... What happened....she asked in worry as she embraced him in her
arms.

Once in arms of his best friend,Sid  again broke down... not even realizing the sympathetic looks that all the servants were giving him.

Jan: Shh....it's ok...You are safe. Let's get to my room. Hm....she suggested as she saw the looks of her servants.

Sid barely nodded from her chest and jan quickly helped him to her room.

Maid:Poor boy, why he is always so broken....she mumbled, looking at
the sobbing mess of boy....

Jan removed his coat and made him
sat on her bed. Grabbing wet tissues to wipe his tear stained face.

Jan: Please don't cry that much....she
again tried as she wiped away previous stream of tears only to be replaced by new one.

Sid hugged her and cried.....he
just cried while burying his head deep
in the chest of his best friend to seek warmth.

Jan was getting impatient with the
time.And even after 1 whole hour, when sid didn't stopped crying
without telling anything, she grabbed
him by his shoulders.

Jan: sid..... tell me. Did your so called father hurt you? If he did, i swear i will slit his throat this time. I am f****** angry on him for always hurting you. Just tell me.....

On those words, sid choked out another sob, his body shaking violently with each sob.

Jan bit her lip harshly, she can't see her best friend like that.

Jan: Please sid..., tell me. Please, don't hurt yourself like that.....she said gently as she caressed his cheeks to wipe tears.

Sid closed his eyes and rested his
palm over jan's hand...feeling her
hand a bit cold than his own, finding it better. While Jan frowned when she
felt oddly hot face of him.

Sid: n..neet......she is.. my neet.... A..Avneet....he choked out and
sniffed as he somehow felt utterly tired for crying anymore.

Jan's eyes twitched on both names
but before she could ask anything else
from him, she saw him trying to
lean back to support his back.

She quickly helped him to lay properly on the bed as she called her maid to bring some medicines and water.

Jan: sid...., see what you've done to yourself, you are burning in fever. Now stop crying or your headache would become worse.....she slightly scolded him who frowned as slightly rubbed his forehead to soothe the pain. Slight hiccups still leaving his lips.

As expected sid didn't said anything in response and Jan waited for the maid. Once she brought the required things, she made him took the pills and again laid him down on the bed.

Jan: Bring some rag and cold water too...His temperature is too high....she ordered her maid who quickly stormed out of the room.

Within few minutes, sid finally
stopped making any kind of sound as
he was passed out on the bed. Jan
heaved out a sigh of relief when she saw him finally sleeping.

But her blood boiled on the words.

Jan:That damn Avneet...what she had done now....she muttered with clenched jaw but soon she tried to
gather the puzzles.

Jan: Wait.....is Neet and Avneet are same person....

Fai:He is at that shorty place, again. Safe and sound.....he informed Avneet
who cut the call in instant.

Vai: Now.....she started as she took the
seat besides Avneet....

Avneet: i don't know,... i feel like i lost
everything. What i did wrong di...she  asked as her eyes were shining with water...a very rare scene after she was brought to this new world.

Avneet: i lost my family, my childhood, my everything.. why it have to be him too.... I never hurt anyone innocent, then why me? All i wanted to have him by my side.. i waited for years to have him
and now.....she sighed, trying best to control her tears.

Avneet: He is also going away from me....she completed her words with a shaky breath.

Vaishu really pitied her condition at
the time.

Vai: In the time he was here...., i get to know one thing about him...she started and Avneet faced her....

Vai: He has a golden heart Avu.... Rare
to find...hard to handle.....

Avneet  clenched her fists as a tear finally slipped from her eyes.

Vai: Maybe, he is just too much hurt and shocked by all things. Afterall this isn't easy to accept...she reasoned and
Avneet just listened her silently.

Vai: Give him some time, i am sure he will forgive you. Don't forget his reaction when he first find out about his father.......

Avneet's blood boiled on mention of
that person.

Avneet: I will kill him di...... i swear. i will.....she clenched her jaw tightly and grabbed her gun from table, ready to go.

Vai: Hey... didn't you gave him time till
morning? Wait till then, i don't know..
maybe it will just add fuel to the fire
at this moment.....she said and Avneet  stopped on that and turned to face her with a questioning look.

Vai: How much he despise his father now,...but stil..he is father to him. His only family...

For some reasons she was right.....

Vai: Don't make haste Avu..... A bit of time....that's all you both needs.....

The weapon slightly slipped away from her grip as she walked back to her room with heavy steps.

Avneet: I am willing to sacrifice everything for him di....my everything....she mumbled before disappearing in her room.

Vai: i wish to see you both together,
the way you want Avu....she muttered as she saw broken look of her

Abhi: I swear Jan..., this should be
important or i am gonna kill u.....he
grumbled as he entered the room of
her but his eyes squinted in surprise
when he saw Sid on bed, a rag
on his forehead as Jan was sitting
beside him with a sad look.

Abhi:W..what happened to Ashu...he
quickly climbed over the bed from
other side and touched skin of him to
feel his high temperature.

Abhi: god..., he is burning up.... he screeched to which Jan glared at him and gestured him to stop being loud.

Jan: He just fell asleep bhai..., he cried for whole time he was here....she replied in shushed voice.

Abhi: but why....

Jan: He just said few words.....she replied with disappointment but her face changed in kind of rage.

Jan: That....His Neet is Avneet....she
said and clenched her jaw.. while Abhi's  mouth fell open.

Abhi: What....

Jan: That's what he meant. I don't know bhai..., he looked so broken, so
vulnerable.. just like when he lost
Neet in his childhood. As you told
me.....she said and Abhi grabbed his
hairs in frustration.

Abhi: Avneet... Neet..... mean CEO of Raichand  Ent....ge mumbled and tried to get to the point but everything seemed complicated.

Abhi: Tunisha never mentioned that she is also a business woman...he growled and dialed her number to confirm.

Abhi: Why you didn't told me before....

Tuni:You never asked Abhi.... But what happened...she never exposed herself as Avneet..., as much as i know she introduced herself as Ms. Raichand.....

Abhi:I don't know, but please can you keep an eye on her.....

Tuni: Oh..ok...i will try... But at least tell me. ....Is siddharth ok...he is with you right....

Abhi: Yeah...he is. Thanks..... With that he ended the call, he noticed the worry in voice of her.

Abhi: What is your intention Avneet Kaur....he mumbled to himself as
he finally decided to walk back into
Jan's room.

Siddharth woke up with severe
headache and groaned slightly. But
soon he felt some fingers through his
hairs, massaging his scalp to soothe the pain.

Sid: Jan.....he croaked out with his dry
throat.

Jan: Oh...you awake...Feeling better my dear husband....she tried to joke but he couldn't even smile over that...he had his eyes still closed when he heard sort of panic voice of Abhi....

Abhi: What do you mean....He should be at his home for sake. Check properly....He had no meeting or anything....

Abhi grumbled over the phone and
Sid opened his eyes to see other
standing out of room with angry expressions.

Abhi: Blood....Are you sure....his expressions turned into horrid ones as he ended the call with unfocused eyes.

Sid shared a glance with Jan, who had same confused look.

Jan: What happened bhai....she asked
and Abhi rubbed his temples and quickly rushed to grab his car keys.

Jan: Hey.....what happened.....now she said in loud voice.

Abhi: I don't know Jan..... it's messy.
they said that they can't find chacha....

Sid shoot up on bed with dizzy
head and Jan quickly supported him.

Sid: W...what do you mean can't find..he mumbled with wide eyes.

Abhi bit his lip, god.... how he couldn't saw him awake. He never wanted to stress him over that.

Abhi: Um... Nothing Ashu... don't worry-....

Sid: dada.... please...Tell me. And what
about b..blood....he cut him with a plea and Abhi gave in.

Abhi: chacha disappeared, guard of neighbor company said that someone came to the company late night..... Workers found blood in his office, but no sign of him....he explained with nervousness and when he faced sid he regretted for opening his mouth.

Siddharth sat there with wide eyes,
look of fear. Seems like he forgot to
breath. But they had no idea what
he was thinking..

Sid: she did that.....
