Within 24 hours to 48 hours...

Avneet: Call me Avneet....AVNEET KAUR NANDRA.....

Words ringed in the ears of both Nigams...One shaking with fear for his life while the other too much shocked to even realise that his hands were losing grip.

Amir: N..nandra..he stuttered out while standing on his shaking legs... eyes never leaving the face of women, who was looking like a black wolf....ready to pounce and tear him apart.

Avneet: yes..nandra... the only Nandra who survived years ago.....she seethed as she slammed her fist against table once more and turned a bit to show her face... without mask.

Siddharth gasped loudly when he saw
same Avneet... hissing in anger while
moving her fingers through her black
hairs in anger ... He could see same Avneet who tortured him that day... same Avneet... who kidnapped him.

He was too much shocked that he didn't noticed when his car keys slipped away from his other hand and fell on the floor with slight click. The voice was enough to catch attention of all other humans in vicinity due to pin drop silence of the moment.

Sid: N- no....no...he mumbled in
complete horror.

Avneet quickly turned back completely and saw none other than
Siddharth standing there with wide
eyes... shaking hands and look of fear...so clear on his face.

A look of panick crossed Avneet's
face when her eyes met with those
horrified hazel brown ones. The same
moment, sid realized the attention he got as he also heard some coming footsteps.

In great haste..he quickly ducked down to grab his car keys and turned back on his shaky legs to disappear from the site as soon as possible.

Jackson was about to catch him
but sid was fast. Avneet also rushed out of the office and saw disappearing boy at a distance. She gestured Jackson to follow him as she himself turned back to finish her business.

Amir stand there with sweaty
forehead and kind of spaced out look.

Amir: Y..you kidnapped him....he muttered and Avneet scoffed on that.

Avneet: Just because of YOU.. I HURT
HIM BECAUSE OF YOU MONSTER...she yelled as she lost her temper and launched forward to punch Amir right on his gut.

She couldn't control anymore, not after seeing the condition of Siddharth...those fear filled eyes.. those shaking hands..she just couldn't.

Avneet: i did something that he never
deserved.. BECAUSE OF YOU....she yelled with an another punch..

Avneet: He was already suffering from your presence and i added more to it...her fists continuously collided with stomach of other... without any mercy.

Amir groaned in pain but couldn't
defend himself from all the punches.

A little pant left her lips when she
finally let go of Amir's kind of
limp body... no apparent bruises but
definitely broken as hell. Amir fell on
the floor on his back as he clutched
over his stomach.

Avneet leaned over his body as she
pressed her high heels on the limp hand of him receiving a satisfactory response in form of grunts and groans of pain....she started to speak...

Avneet: You ruined much Amir..... my
family....my childhood.. my whole life..she stopped as she pressed more over the hand.. a loud scream echoed in the office.

Avneet: but i am giving you a choice, even after you being so demonic....

Amir opened his eyes on the words.

Avneet: Either you surrender and give in to the police by yourself.. or-....she again pressed and Amir bit his lip to
prevent another scream leaving his
lips.

Avneet: I will give you so much pain full life,..a life in which you will beg for death...every second....she hissed with a dread look and with a final kick on the gut of older...,she turned back and picked up her gun from table.

Avneet: You have time till morning Amir and don't even think of escaping,...because... i have my eyes on you....she turned back to give a short glance as she delivered the words.

Avneet: Since years.....

Siddharth rushed to the parking lot..
opening the car door with shaky
hands and once he was in, he quickly
locked it. He didn't noticed that he was crying all the time he ran. Sobs left his lips as he tried to start the engine with his overly shaky fingers but after failing for three times, he punched the steering wheel, letting out a painful scream.

Sid: W..why.. WHY....he again screamed but when he noticed that Jackson was running towards his car, he quickly started the engine that happened luckily this time, and rushed away from the place.

Without any further thought, he
decided to drive to Jan's place again.
He wanted to share it, he can't keep
that all to himself anymore. The whole truth was hurting him more than anything else for now.

Sid: That's why he looked so f..familiar.....he breathed out with a hiccup as more tears rolled over his cheeks

All the puzzles were settled in place as
the face was reeling in his mind over
and over again.

Sid: n..neet...avneet...avneet Kaur....AK....he mumbled with another sob.

Avneet: Where is he...she asked from
Jackson,..who was about to leave in the car but stopped when he realized that they both came in same car.

Jack: Um...mam...h..he ran away....he replied nervously as Avneet was still fuming with anger. But as those words were heard by her...the  expressions turned in sort of worry.

She quickly grabbed her phone and
called Faisu...

Avneet: Where are you....

Fai: Having dinner....Why.....

Avneet: Find him....QUICKLY.....with that she cut the call and dialed
Vaishu's number.

Avneet: Track Siddharth's location. NOW....she didn't even let her reply and gestured Jackson to start driving.

Jack: Where mam...he asked as he took control of steering wheel.

Avneet: That park....she replied after a minute of silence.

Sid wanted to go to Jan's place but
again stopped by that park.. he was
too much of a mess to meet anyone.
Walking like a drunk boy, he slumped
over the bench.

Neet...... 10 year old little girl who was
looking so broken and lonely.. just like
Avneet told me about her past.

A whimper of pain left his lips as he
recalled the painful past of both.
actually the one person he met in two
different situations. Once he met her
in pain and secondly he met her when
he was in pain... because of her.

He pulled on his hairs as he
sobbed harshly.

Sid: What s..should i..i do.....hiccups leaving his lips as he sobbed more and more with every passing second.

Fai:Here he is......he panted as he
pointed towards the boy sitting on the bench in park all alone.

Avneet whipped her neck so fast that
Faisu and Vaishu  feared that she
could've broken up her bone.

She quickly marched towards the
boy...,shaking figure with muffled
voice of crying. it definitely broke
Avneet's heart....

She licked her lips... feeling nervous,
afraid... and too much guilty....

Crouching over her  knees.. she sat
infront of  the sobbing boy.... Staring at the hairs that were bouncing
due to harsh sobbing as his head was
low with face in his hands.

Avneet couldn't stop her hands and
slightly patted sid's hairs. It caused other to jolt up in surprise. Those red eyes, swollen... red nose and cheeks... quivering lips.

Avneet: sid-.....

Sid: Why....his voice was shaky..all the emotions clear in that small word.

Avneet knows what's the meaning of
this why.

Avneet: I had no idea that you were his son siddharth.... but when i find that... it was too much late and i couldn't-....

Sid:Why...why y..you have to be my Neet....T..this guilt is killing me. You were on s..street because of hi-..... a loud hiccup interrupted him and he again started sobbing badly. shaking his head with closed eyes.

Avneet.... Well she was beyond shock.
Siddharth was really an angel in
disguise of a human. The boy was
worried and crying because of her
miseries... Not because he suffered for something he never did and the
one who gave him that pain was she..
herself.

Sid:I was feeling guilty b..before too but now.... i..i can't...can't bear i...it.y..you were in so much pain N..neet...and... i...oh God...w..what should i do....W..what can i do?.....

Avneet just watched him with daze as other was blabbering with so much difficulty.

Sid: Y..you were suffering and my father was the one... the reason of  your suffering....i can't forget it..y..you were cold...you were hungry..Neet....i am sorry.....he was visibly panicking
and he was breathing heavily and
Avneet didn't thought for another
second and engulfed the boy in her
arms.

Avneet:Why are you sorry sweetie...You weren't responsible for any of it. In fact, you were the ray of shine in all of my darkened life. You were the reason i survived that time sid.... I could've died on those streets without anything. but you gave me all the things with your warmth.....she said as she rubbed over his back to calm him.

Avneet: But i am truly sorry for w..what i had done with you dear....she  said with hesitation as she felt him slightly pushed her away with his shaky hands.

All the things were playing in his eyes
as he saw her face.

Sid: Y..you played with my feelings. You were h..hiding your face...That's why y..you were delaying our meeting....he muttered to himself as he looked down at the arms of her...,
still wrapped around him loosely.

Avneet: I didn't...i was just afraid....she
said.. her eyes stung as she saw his condition.

Sid got up from the bench and
stumbled on side, eyes looking at the
ground with grass. He chuckled dryly
as he wiped away his tears harshly.
Avneet was taken aback when he
said the next words before running
away.

Sid: you really did used me as a Bait Avneet.....
