Siddharth felt his lower lip wobbled on hearing those words. He decided to end the call before breaking down right at the moment but he stopped when he heard next words.

Neet: You are like a piece of my heart that i was searching for years..you are
the piece that made me complete...and i am sure...this isn't just like friendship....

Sid was confused on the choice of  her words. If he wasn't friend anymore.. then what??

Sid: T- then.... What are we now....

Avneet couldn't help but smile and
wished to see the face of him at the
moment.

Neet: Figure it out my dear...

Sid huffed...a bit due to anger on
thinking something over and a bit due
to all the puzzles she was throwing
on him.

Sid: I can't....we should be friends right....What else we could be.....he
giggled at the end of the line and muffled his voice.

Avneet was amused on his reaction
but asked out.

Neet: how about i give you some hints....when she heard a noise of
agreement... She started again.

Neet: i have very strong feelings towards you sweetie...a feeling that is hard to find and then very hurtful to leave. A feeling that make us happy and sad make us greedy and sometimes beggar. A feeling that is so precious in this world.....

Siddharth gasped on that when he
realized what he was hearing.

Sid:Ar..aren't you talking about Love....

Neet: You are wise enough my life...she chuckled when she heard
him whinning again.

Sid: S..stop with these names....

Neet: Why...Are you shy....

Sid felt his cheeks heat up on that.

Sid: N..no....W..why would i be shy....

Neet: oh my innocent baby .... Don't you think that you had that feeling too...for me....she blurted out and was satisfied when she heard a shocked
gasp.

Sid: O..ofcourse.. i..i love you.. as a-....

Neet: Not as a friend......she inhaled
sharply....oh....how much she wanted
to confess right now... but the same
insecurity stopped her again.

Sid waited but when got no response, he felt kind of disappointed. He wanted to hear the words other was
restrained to say.

Sid: Whatever....um...how about we talk about it when we meet next time... We are going to meet as you said.....

Neet: Yes my Arth....we will meet soon. Till then...take rest and don't exhaust
yourself with work.....

Sid mumbled an ok and waited for
response again but even for whole
minute, he got nothing.

Neet: Hello......

Sid: Um...Neet.....

Neet: You there....god... are you playing hide and seek on phone.....

Sid giggled on her words but quickly frowned again.

Sid: Hey....AK....he said and she slightly smiled.

Neet: Goodnight Love.....have sweet
dreams......

Sid froze on that and call ended from other side... a loud thumping was all that he heard in the whole room. He blinked, once, twice,thrice..

Sid: What the....did she just called me love.....Is it normal in friends....he threw his phone on side and flopped back on bed, bouncing a bit on impact.

Sid:argh.....neet.....you are still a tease.....he shook his head with a smile and closed his eyes with a hope of real sweet dreams.

Jan: so....

Sid: so what....he chuckled on the
expressions of Jan,....who scrunched
her nose in distaste.

Jan:what are you doing here... You forgot me....she dramatically said and pouted.

Sid: Don't please.....you look like a teddy....don't whine or else i am gonna attack your cheeks....he warned as he
grabbed the Aloo poori that Abhi made for him.

Abhi: Just do it already ashu.... She is soooo jealous that you came here....he said entering  the dining room with freshly made samosas which is his fav..... Jan huffed again and rolled her eyes.. not before snatching the plate of samosas.....

Jan: Jealous...My foot.....she said
stomping her feet on floor.

Sid: Well....why are you here...Did you
just stalked me last night...he asked with  his one brow raised....

Jan: No way...why would i...you idiot....

Sid chuckled and shook his head.

Sid: Whatever...i am leaving for company...he gulped down the remaining juice and got up from the chair.

Abhi: Wait Ashu .... i am also coming....he also grabbed his stuff and left....

Once both left Jan emptied her plate and left the mansion of Abhi but she saw the same black car....kind of chasing Sid's car.

Jan: Is he being stalked.....she thought.

Every person in company was worried and tense. Sid called for Meghna and got details of everything that happened with all the projects. He himself tried to talk with few partners but they all denied... even 2 leashed out on him.

Sid: This is. so sudden.....he mumbled as he slumped back on his chair.

He was aware that his father must be very angry or could be sad. But
he preferred not to visit him...well he
talked a lot last day.

The whole day passed like that and
he decided to leave the building. Next
two days were kind of sulking because
of the weekend. He spent some time
with overly excited Jan as she got her
favourite breed of dog. He also met with Abhi on sunday.

He was happy that both were trying
to maintain his good mood and they
somehow succeeded well. He got just
goodnight messages from Neet in
these two days and he felt kind of sad
for that....

For a moment he thought to call her
but then he thought that she could be
busy.

Monday was more frustrating than
weekend. Everyone in the company
was praying a single thing.....because all of their ongoing and upcoming deals were cancelled by other companies. They had only one hope....Raichand company and the related project.

In whole day,..all the employees tried
their best to control the situation but
ofcourse it didn't helped much. At the
end, they all left with some fear about
safety of their jobs.

Sid was also stressing over the situation but he couldn't get the
chance to have a word with Amir
in whole day. Once everyone left the
office except for Meghna, Sid and
Amir.....he decided to see his
father as he sure was depressed now.

He politely ordered Meghna to leave and he himself made his way to Amir's office. As expected,..he was in the office...but unexpectedly.. he wasn't alone. Sid frowned when he
saw Mr. Jackson leaning over the glass
of window at a distance....maybe busy
with phone.

He was about to knock the door but
to his surprise, the door slightly creek
opened by his fingers..causing the words to be more clear.

He peeked inside through the little
space and saw a familiar person sitting on the chair opposite to Amir.

Amir:This is some sort of scamming.. i....i...don't know who did that.....he heard his father's  words.

CEO: But the proofs said something else Mr. Nigam.....It was voice of AK ofcourse.

Amir: Ms.Raichand..., believe me-....

CEO: Believe you.....A hint of mockery didn't go unnoticed by both Nigams...

CEO: i was thinking,..how many times
people tried to scam you....Avneet said sarcastically....leaving Amir a
bit surprised.

Amir: Sorry?......

CEO: I mean.....When you practically robbed a women after promising wedding with her,....when you tried to snatch away the shares of your wife's father,....when you poisoned him....

Sidharth's eyes widened on the words.
Amir even killed his grandfather too?

Amir's  eyes bulged out on that and
he felt his throat became dry.

Amir: What are you talking about Ms. Raichand....he said while controlling his shaky voice.

No one knows about the last deed...he
did so but not a single soul was aware
of this then how.....

Avneet chuckled bitterly and leaned
over the table, eyes piercing as she
clenched her jaw tightly along with fists to control herself from shooting the person at the spot.

CEO: I often thought...that how a human could be so cruel...she stopped as chuckled again.

CEO: My fault....you aren't a human Nigam.....you are a f******* DEMON....she growled and Sid's grip over door knob tightened.

CEO: A monster....who even killed his friend for some damn money......The raging voice again echoed in the empty floor.

Now Amir's body started to shake
badly. He wasn't fearing about the deal at that point, he was fearing for his life.

Amir: M...Ms..Raichand... what are yo-...

CEO: You killed both Nandra's at that beach.....you-....sh paused...like she was trying to control again.

Siddharth's  hands were also shaking
at this point. How his Neet knows that
much? He wanted to enter the room
and ask for everything, but for some
unknown reasons, he couldn't.

CEO: You are a heartless monster Amir.....people earn for their family.. for the happiness of their children but you....You didn't even had that single quality....You abused your own son... blaming him for what he NEVER DID.....her voice was so loud that Siddharth flinched and a very familiar memory hit his mind...the felt voice oddly familiar.

He tried to see both of the persons and saw Avneet leaning over the table while Amir kind of slumped over his own chair

Amir: Ms...-..... Avneet slammed her fists over the table.

CEO: Don't call me Raichand..... call me by my real surname....she seethed and Sid's heartbeat quickened at the
moment. Amir just watched her
with fearful expressions as Avneet
placed the gun over table with the slam.

CEO: Call me AVNEET KAUR NANDRA..
