Within 24 to 48 hours

Sid(in mind): Arth....Arth...did...did i just heard Arth.....because i am missing her too much....he thought to himself..

Siddharth was gone into thick clouds of his thoughts on hearing the words...he couldnt believe. But he was sure of one thing...he heard it right....loud and clear....

Avneet was just looking at sid who was spacing out while looking at the floor of rooftop. She sighed when her phone buzzed and took that as a cue.

She  silently made her way to the elevator and left him on the rooftop in his own world of thoughts. She walked out of the elevator once she reached the 2nd floor. Jackson was waiting for near the meeting room.

Jack: oh u are back....should we go....he asked as he saw his boss coming out of the elevator once again her face covered with mask.

Avneet didn't answered him and
just walked forward to reach ground
floor. Jackson was kind of curious and
he tried to locate Siddharth behind his boss but couldn't find him. He frowned on that but silently followed his boss who was kind of taking very big steps to walk more speedily.. just to leave the suffocating area.

Jackson ran to open the door for
Avneet right when Mr.Sharma came
running behind... panting.

Mr.Sharma: M..Ms.Raichand.... you are leaving early.....everything ok....he asked a bit panicked about the sudden behaviour of other.

Avneet didn't bothered to answer
him and opened the door for herself
and walked to her car. Jackson quickly brought a fake.. but professional smile on his face and answered.

Jack: We have some emergency at our
company.. so we have to leave.... Don't
worry.....he said and Mr. Sharma let out a sigh of relief upon hearing that and smiled back.

Once Jackson entered the car, Avneet
took off her mask as the windows were tainted.

Avneet: Let's go..... Jackson nodded and took control of steering wheel. The car started moving as Avneet's eyes were still focused on rooftop of the building.

She felt a bit of guilt for leaving Sid
again but she couldn't think of other
way...she was feeling so much mixed
emotions at the moment.She thought that she forgot how to handle that fragile angel...and she didn't wanted to hurt him again...

Siddharth finally came out of his
thoughts when he saw the CEO
entering the elevator. His eyes widened in realization and he quickly ran but the door already got closed before he could reach the vicinity. That's why Avneet couldn't saw him coming.

Sid: No no.. stop. I have many questions....please....he mumbled and
pressed the button but he already
knew that it will be futile. He quickly
rushed to the stairs and started
descending with great speed. He was
panting and huffing, but didn't stopped for a single second. The single word was enough to increase the level of adrenaline in his blood.

He ran and ran... when he reached the
meeting room he found that empty.

Sid: Oh no... please.....he grabbed his hairs and again ran towards the reception.

Sid: M.. Ms. Raichand......he asked in between his breaths and girl on reception frowned on his condition... hairs sticking to his forehead due to sweat and he was panting badly while grabbing the counter tightly...like supporting his body.

Rec: She just left..... She answered and
Siddharth  widened and shook his head. He quickly turned back to run towards the parking lot and saw Mr. Sharma coming inside with a smile.

Mr.sharma:..Oh..siddharth Mr. Nigam was asking for u..... Why you left him  alone.....he frowned slightly on his condition.

Sid:I will t..talk to h.him. i am g.. going
somewhere... e..emergency....he
said and was about to reach his car
while searching for the Raichand company address on his phone. He can't wait...he just can't.

He was about to open the door when he heard loud voice of Meghna.

Meghna: Mr. Nigam..... where are you going.....Sid turned back and saw her
running to him. She bend while putting her hands on her knees.

Sid: it's important....he said and turned to his car but this time Meghna grabbed his wrist and rolled her eyes in annoyance.

Meghna: Siddharth Nigam... you aren't going anywhere. You have dozens of documents to go through and sign.....She said sternly.

Well, she used to do so as Sid joined the company when he was just 19 years old. She was the one to teach him how to handle that all..

Sid:But.....

Meghna: No Siddhart.... try to understand...These are important documents. And Mr. Nigam will be more than angryy if you leave like that.... She stated and sid felt his hold loosened on car.

Sid: meghna di..it's really important..his voice broke and Meghna felt bad for the boy. She stepped forward and slightly
patted his shoulder.

Meghna:You are very wise boy Siddharth..... everything will be fine. Hmm...She said in so soft tone and finally sid nodded his head.

Sid: i hope so.....he muttered as she gave him a proud smile. Indeed, she was proud on the boy.. coz she saw him suffering yet coming over all the
difficulties with a smile.

Siddharth was dealing with papers
even when it was already 9pm. He was already tired but he had to do this... not because he wanted to rest.. but because he wanted to talk with CEO.

Meghna was also waiting for him. She
felt bad for him as he didn't had lunch nor dinner as he just wanted to end the work soon. But Amir send him more documents just when he was about to end early ones.

She sighed in pity as Siddharth was
glancing over the watch, again and
again in irritation.

She softly knocked on the door and
heard a polite come in. Even in such
depression, Sid never showed
his anger to anyone.

Megna: Siddharth... how much is remaining....

Sid: It's half di... I won't be able to
complete even if i have whole night....
he said in disappointment while
rubbing his temple.

Meghna:But you can do it tomorrow.. why are you exhausting yourself.... She said with confusion.

He did completed the emergency work but the new work that was given by Amir was too much. Good thing was,...it was required in 2 days. He had time but he just wanted to end it so that he could visit Ms.Raichand.

Sid: i want to end this now.. i have some important things to handle.....he
muttered with a frown.

Sid: You can go home di... It's already late for you. I am fine...he gave her a
smile.

Meghna:On one condition.....She said and sid narrowed his eyes but sighed
when he realised what's coming.

Meghna: You are going too....

Sid:But-...

Meghna:..No buts.. look at you. You are already exhausted Sid.. you need rest. Please don't be so harsh on your body and health....She pouted.

Sid( in mind): I am exhausted di.... not because of work.. because of all the possibilities that are crossing my mind.

He thought to himself and glanced over the pile of files laying infront of him.

Sid( in mind): I realy can't do that all....

He rubbed his eyes tiredly and said a soft ok to which he heard a small squeal and a clap.

Meghna:That's ma boy....She chirped and quickly picked up the files to arrange on side table. Sid also helped her and finally left the building.

Sid: Goodnight di...

Meghna:Aw....Goodnight baccha.... I wish, i could adopt you.....She fake cried and sid chuckled on her cuteness. She always tried her best to make his mood lighter.

She waved and entered her car and
Sid did the same. He glanced
over his watch again..

10:05pm.

Sid:This isn't the right time to meet
someone.....He slightly smacked his head on steering wheel recalling the words.

Sid:Who are you.....

Next day...

Siddharth was again infront of the pile of files but thr good thing was, that pile was already done. He smiled happily as scanning the last file.

It was a bit late again but not much. It
was 5:35 pm as his watch read that. He quickly completed the work and called for Meghna to deliver the files back to Amir's office.

He went to bathroom and washed his
face to remove the tiredness.Grabbing
his phone and car keys, he skipped to
the parking lot after confirming no
more emergency work.

He entered the car and put the location on GPs for Raichand company. It was drive of half an hour. He patiently drove to the company but he could feel his heartbeat quickened on the thought of
meeting the person again.

Once he reached the building, he went to reception.

Sid:Hi....can i meet with Ms. Raichand... I am from Nigams Enterprise.....He said.

Rec:Wait a minute sir....Let me check her schedule.... She quickly looked up at the screen and then dialed a number.

Rec: Ok Sir.... She said as cut the call and smiled at sid.

Rec: it's your luck sir....she is about to leave....I asked from Mr. Jackson... She is still in her office. Her office is on 5th floor.. right infront of elevator....siddharth quickly
nodded and practically ran to the
elevator.

He was patting his foot on metal floor,
biting his lip in anxiety. He came all the way to see the person without deciding what to ask.

Avneet was the one more furious
since yesterday. She had many negative thoughts as Sid didn't showed any kind of response yet.

Avu:Did he already forgot about me? Does he hate me for leaving him suddenly? Or he is mad at me?... But the worst question was.

Avu: Did he found out that i am Avneet....

She wasn't feeling a bit of comfort even when Faisu and Vaishu tried to
reasoned about office work of Sid.

She didn't came to office for whole day as Jackson was informing her about everything. She just wanted to see the boy..... Just him.

She never showed her face to her
company employees as well except for
Jackson. No one had any idea of her
being a Mafia queen...

She was called for some important
reasons in company and was about to
leave when Jackson came in her room....running.

Jack:He...is here....He said with a smile
and Avneet's face lit up. She quickly
grabbed the mask back and settled on
the chair.

Siddharth walked to the room as
guided by someone and softly knocked. Jackson was silently watching him rom his cabin.

Avu: Come in...siddharth felt his palms started to sweat harder as he heard the voice.

He slowly opened the door and saw
the person sitting on chair while going through some papers.

Avu: Come inside Mr. Siddharth...sid
felt confused as she called him by his
name instead of surname. Maybe he
was too much immersed in her thoughts last time that he totally ignored the calls.

Sid walked infront of her and narrowed his eyes as  she was again
wearing the mask.

Avneet felt her lips twitched up as
he frowned cutely.

Avu:Have a seat....

Sid: No thanks....he cut her but bit
his lip.

Sid:I don't want to be rude.....he said and Avneet patiently waited for his next words and saw him fidgeting with his fingers.

Sid:What you know about Arth...he asked while still facing the floor.

Avneet felt a wave of relief in her
body as she was sure that Sid did
remembered him. She smiled and got
up from her seat... walking towards the sid who was still standing..

She leaned forward as her hand gently caressed sid's locks, taking the
boy by surprise.

Avu: I know everything about him...she replied.

Sid: H-..how.....

Avu: Long story...

Sid: I have time....Avneet hummed in
response and retreated her hand.

Siddharth was surprised by the
behaviour of CEO... apparently an
unknown person. But for reasons he
felt safe in the touch.

Avneet closed her eyes for a
second and leaned her body on table
behind her... taking the full sight of
Him... looking so ethereal as ever.
She definitely can't keep the secret
anymore...she can't help but let out the words smoothly from her lips.

Avneet:..What if....i say.. i am Neet....
