Party was over with a lot of revelations. This party was very unique from all the other gatherings organised before in Malhotra mansion, all the guests have fun and they enjoyed every bit of it! For all this, the credit goes to one person, Manik Malhotra. No doubt this party would be remembered forever as in this party they all have witnessed a new shade of Manik Malhotra, a cute one.

Before that Manik Malhotra was famous for his arrogant nature but today after what all happened in that party, it would surely ruin reputation of Manik. Now Manik would be known for his cute kiddish nature. Drastic change it is!

But this change is for good!

After party was over, Malhotra's including Abhimanyu too were seating in the drawing room. No one was saying anything, a pin drop of silence was there. Manik was looking downwards not knowing what he should say more. Already he had made a fun of himself in front of everyone in the party what if he would open his mouth to say something and they all would start laughing on him again. But he was getting irked by this silence.

After gathering a lot of courage, Manik looked towards them and he found all of them looking downwards. "Why are you all so quiet? Say something" said Manik.

As soon as Manik said those words, Mukti was the first one who started giggling making Manik annoyed. "Mukti why are you laughing, what is so funny here?" asked Manik glaring Mukti. Nandani, Nyonika and Abhimanyu too started giggling slowly slowly keeping their hands on their lips which was only frustrating Manik. He was not getting why they were laughing on him, what was so funny here!

"Mom not you too please! I am getting irritated now" complained Manik cutely as soon as he saw Nyonika giggling too.

"Bhai after what you did today in party, I am sure who ever would see your face now on wards would start giggling" said Mukti with giggles.

"Shut up! I am not getting now also why was everyone laughing in the party, it was so embarrassing!" said Manik.

"Aww my poor bhai is embarrassed but the way you complained for everything it was something very cute and funny too at the same time" said Mukti.

"I have not complained! I just confessed that I love my wife along with whatever I was going through these days which I wanted to say from a long time but was not able to and I don't think so it was funny at all." Manik again complained.

Hearing this Mukti started giggling again. "Haso haso! Aur haso. But only I know how was I controlling myself when Mom surprised us with that engagement announcements on the other hand side your bhabhi was so cool. If I would not have confessed all the truth than your bhabhi could have done that fake engagement too for Mom" Manik complained looking towards Nandani.

"Aree why are you saying like this Manik, I was worried too. I was also thinking of something to come out from this even I had an idea too for calling off the engagements that we" was saying Nandani all the way smilingly.

When Manik cut her "No please! Keep your ideas to yourself only! Your Aiyappa knows what khatarnak idea would have been popped out this time in your chotu sa mind! It was good I confessed otherwise you would have lied again" said Manik with a sigh.

Hearing this Mukti giggled while Nandani pouted. "I was not going to lie this time Manik and my idea was not at all khatarnak. It was simple as soon as ceremony would have started we would have fall unconscious so that ceremony could be called off".

As soon as Nandani completed they all started giggling hearing Nandani's idea while Manik gave a look to her "are you serious". "And after that once you would be conscious what if Mom would be sitting in front of you with Abhimanyu holding that ring?" asked Manik.

Hearing this Nandani nervously smiled and said "I don't think so Maa would have done something like this."

"Do you have thought Abhimanyu would ever play the role of your fake husband? Do you have thought that our surprise engagements would be announced by Mom in the party? No Nah! But Mom was very unpredictable, she could do anything these days!" said Manik rolling his eyes.

"Then I would have thought of something different Manik but I wouldn't have done that engagement!" Nandani said chirping sweetly. While Manik joined his hands in front of her making her pout more.

"Manik beta but you should have told me this earlier nah, what was the need to lie and then hide it" said Nyonika.

"Mom told you nah you were not letting any of us speak then how could we have told you. Frankly speaking, I never was in favor of telling you a lie. Yes, your health was important for me but I would have never leave Nandani's hands too. But here it was opposite she was ready to leave my hand for you" said Manik sarcastically.

"Bss bss enough of your sarcasm Manik! Now don't trouble Nandani more! But I like one thing that the way you confessed everything today, it clearly shows your feelings for Nandani" said Nyonika warmly.

Nandani smiled hearing that while Nyonika looked towards Nandani and called her to sit beside her. Taking her hand in between her hands, she asked lovingly "Why did you lied beta? You call me Maa nah then who lie to his Maa? You should have trust your Maa na. Because of this, I was going to do a big mistake, thankfully Manik blurted out all the truth. But what if I would have never regained my memories back? Then for how much time you could have hide the truth from me, ha?"

Nandani looked towards Nyonika's hands which were holding her hand in between. "Maa after my amma's death I have never thought I would get again the same love like the way my amma does but then you came in my life. Though this marriage was due to certain circumstances but then also you never made me feel like that ever. From day one you were always there for me supporting me, encouraging me and loving me. I started feeling like my amma is back. But after that accident I was scared, I could not save my Amma at that time but this time I didn't wanted to loose you so I thought if telling a lie would solve all the problems. Then there is no wrong in that hai na? At least you would be safe and sound in front of my eyes, I was happy with that. I haven't thought ever things would go so far" said Nandani.

Hearing that Manik smiled for the first time after that announcements in the party. He was feeling proud on her. While Nyonika's eyes were filled with tears "I am blessed to have a daughter like you bacha" said Nyonika while hugging her sideways and planting a kiss on her hairs.

"I am left!" Mukti screamed and joined the hug with her Mom and bhabhi. Manik too joined the hug and said "I am blessed to have you all in my life!"

While Abhimanyu and Aiyappa were admiring this cute family and were hoping that no one would put their eyes on this family's happiness now.

Nandani was in her room standing in front of mirror combing her hairs and was smiling recalling Manik's words.

"Aiyappa! The way Manik today confessed everything, I was getting goosebumps he really loves me. This mere thought makes me feel so special. Never in my dreams, I had thought that I could be Manik's crush. That day he was complimenting me and I thought that he was talking about Natasha. How could I thought like that? Aiyappa! I am really duffer. But Manik should have told me nah truth, he also hide it from me" Nandani was lost in her thoughts when a pair of arms snaked into her waist.

Nandani looked towards mirror and saw Manik. "Thinking about me!" asked Manik keeping his chin on her shoulder.

"Manik why did you not ever told me that I was your crush?" asked Nandani.

"What are you expecting that I should come and say to you that Hey! you are my crush."

"Nhi but you could have told me nah at least when I assumed it to be Natasha! See today because of that Maa had almost announced your engagement with Natasha. What would have happened if Maa would not have listened to you and would have forced you for that engagement then would you have done that?" asked Nandani.

Her this question make him smiled. "If I would have told you earlier then how would I have witnessed the jealous Nandani and about that engagement part then I would not have ever done that whether Mom would have forced me or pressurized me then too. I love my Mom but I love you too and I would have never done anything which could hurt anyone of you by keeping the other one happy."

"Manik can I ask a question?" asked Nandani.

"Why are you taking permission ask na?" said Manik.

"Who all are the special girls whom had ever made their place in your heart?"

"Ask directly Nandani!" said Manik smirking.

"Say na Manik!"

"So, basically there are three special girls whom had made special place in my heart. My first lifeline is the lady whom had given birth to me i.e. Mom. Second one is with whom I have grown up, Mukti. Third one is with whom I want to spend the rest of my life i.e. YOU" said Manik sincerely looking in her eyes from the mirror.

Nandani smiled the way Manik had again made her feel special. Isn't it a special feeling to be special one in someone's life?

"But there is a place of one more" said Manik like he was thinking.

"Space... Why is there space? For whom there is still space?" Nandani asked pouting.

"After my three lifelines, if anyone could take that special place then it would be by my daughter!"
