What is the problem with the last chapter? Because it is visible to few of the readers but some are still messaging me that it's not visible. For that issue logout and login again you would be able to read the chapter then. Last chapter had very few votes only 130+. But still I am here with the new chapter!

Before Manik could balance himself he was on the floor with Nandani in his arms and his lips on Nandani's right cheek. Nandani's eyes got widened with this unexpected accidental cheek kiss. Her hands were on Manik's shoulder holding his shirt tightly while Manik hands were holding her tightly by her waist.

"Ehmm Ehmm" Mukti cleared her throat to gain their attention.

As soon as they heard Mukti's voice Manik get up from the floor but not before giving her a peck of kiss on Nandani's cheek again leaving her flushed. Smilingly, he give her his hand in order to help her out. Nandani looked at his face and then she hold his hands getting embarrassed by the accidental scene.

She was not having courage to look towards anyone. "Aiyoo Aiyappa! Did anyone saw that accidental kiss?" asked Nandani to her Aiyappa.

While her Aiyappa facepalmed and answered her "Don't worry I didn't see anything other than that accidental kiss!"

After gaining all the courage that she could have she looked at Mukti and Abhimanyu who were looking at her only with a grin on their faces. Seeing them grinning she pouted thinking "Aiyoo! they saw that kiss that means."

Seeing all of them quiet, Manik thought to break the silence. "Why were you both running like Tom and Jerry?" asked Manik looking towards Abhimanyu and Nandani.

Nandani was thankful to Manik that he changed the topic and both of them could not teased her further. "Manik I didn't do anything just a little bit harmless teasing but Abhi was running behind me to take revenge" said Nandani having a smile on her face.

"Acha you didn't do anything, Nandu?" Abhimanyu asked glaring her.

"Ha! Manik you know Abhi and Mukti" Nandani was going to say more when Mukti cut her immediately.

"Bhabhi whatever the reason would be but you and bhai always try to find out some or the other reason to stick together and do romance in front of anyone, ha" said Mukti diverting the topic as she knew if her bhai would get to know about them then he might be angry on Abhi more as Manik and Abhimanyu both do not share a healthy relationship with each other yet.

"We were not doing any romance that was a accidental kiss" Nandani said clearing herself while pouting.

"Hoooo, How did we missed that? We didn't saw that kiss Nandu, please do it again you both! We both want to see that" said Abhi joining with Mukti in order to tease Nandani. While Nandani hold her head thinking why did she blurted out that kiss thing.

"Aiyappa I need no one to embarrass me, I embarrass myself on my own!" Nandani said too loudly that it made chuckled all three of them.

"Bhabhi why are you feeling embarrassed you know you have the right to do all this" teased Mukti while Nandani glared Mukti cutely.

"Don't tease my wife now!" said Manik while side-hugging Nandani. Nandani felt happy that Manik is taking her side.

"Ohh so someone is getting protective ha, bhai" asked Mukti raising her eyebrows.

"Why would not I be? Ek toh vese hi she does not allow me to do anything and after you both would tease her then toh Gawdddd knows what more she would do with me" Manik complained while Nandani tilted her neck to look at Manik.

Seeing her looking at Manik with complaining eyes they all burst into laughter along with Aiyappa too!

Scene: Nyonika's room

"Good news Manik! she is recovering soon. It seems you all are taking good care of Mrs Malhotra" said the doctor while checking Nyonika's pulse rate.

"Yes doctor! Manik is very strict with my diet routine on the other side Mukti never miss a chance to make me laugh on her silly cute talks and Nandani she is always ready with my medicines. I do not have to worry about anything as they all are standing on their one foot taking care of my basic necessities" Nyonika said smilingly looking at their faces.

"That is a symbol of cute family! It would be very helpful in healing your wounds fast" said the doctor while packing his bag. Nyonika smiled while doctor asked Manik to come outside. Manik nodded his head and left with the doctor.

"Now I have only one wish!" said Nyonika as soon as doctor left with Manik.

"Which wish mom?" asked Mukti who was sitting beside her on the bed.

"To see Manik getting married!" said Nyonika with a smile. As soon as Nyonika uttered those words the trio Abhi, Mukti and Nandani saw each other faces not knowing what to say.

"But mom bhai is happy na so why we need to get him married that too this soon!" Mukti argued.

Hearing this Nyonika made a bad face and said "this is not so soon, he should have been married till now, but no worries once I would get fine the first thing I would do is to get Manik married soon!"

"Aiyappa! Maa is thinking to get Manik married again. I think so I have done a big mistake when I blurted out that friend thing, Manik was right. I should not have lied that time. Aiyooo! why did I do that?" Nandani thought.

Seeing Nandani lost in her thoughts, Nyonika said "Nandani beta, I need a help from you."

Nandani came out from her thoughts and at once replied "what help do you need Maa?"

"Beta! you are Manik's friend na, so can you ask him like do he like someone or do he have crush on anyone? If there is no one whom he do like then what quality is he looking in his life partner etc etc, you got that?" said Nyonika getting excited.

While Nandani's face drained out color hearing this.

"You would do it na beta?" asked Nyonika again looking at Nandani. To which Nandani plastered a smile on her face and nodded her head as yes.

Looking at Nandani's drained out face Abhimanyu said "Aunty before marriage life is good, let Manik enjoy this phase. After marriage life is so hectic"

"I don't agree with you here beta! After marriage you got someone who would care for you, with whom you can share your problems and who would love you unconditionally and don't say that your life is hectic you should be really thankful that you got someone like Nandani who had a very beautiful soul. If she wouldn't have been married then she would have been my first choice for my Manik." said Nyonika all the way smiling.

"Shit! Bhabhi and I did a very big mistake. Mom was still ready to make bhabhi again his daughter-in-law, why did we lied" thought Mukti mentally slapping herself. While Nandani's condition was also the same.

"When would Mom get her memories back doctor?" asked Manik as soon as he came out of the room with the doctor.

"I have told you earlier also Manik in these cases we could not predict when would the person regain his memory again. It could be possible that she regain in few days, in few months, in few years or she never regain those memories again" said Doctor keeping his hand on Manik's shoulder.

"Should we then told her about the lost memory or is there any danger in taking that step?" asked Manik.

"I would say don't take this step! It could be dangerous for her. She is happy with all the things going around let the things move like that only" advised Doctor leaving Manik flustered.

Scene- Manik's room

Manik entered in his room and saw Nandani looking at the photograph. He quietly sit beside her and saw her caressing the family photograph which was taken on their marriage day. Manik recalls that day and smile came on his face thinking how much agitated he was on that day.

"It was good that Alya run away before this marriage, I should be thankful to her, otherwise I would not have been sitting with Nandani today on the same bed and looking at our marriage photograph and smiling" thought Manik looking at Nandani's adorable face.

"Where are you lost?" asked Manik after few minutes.

Nandani looked towards him and smiled. "Just thinking something!" said Nandani.

"May I know what is my beautiful wife thinking?" asked Manik cutely which made her smile.

"Manik I haven't expected ever that I would get so much love after getting married and then our marriage was something very unexpected. I was very nervous and scared at that moment thinking how would you and your family behave, whether you all would be angry on me, do someone would talk to me or you all would ignore me vagerah vagerah. Would I ever be able to take Alya's place in your heart?" Nandani said looked at their photograph.

"But I was so wrong about everyone whether about Maa who use to love me more than you, due to her I again got to know how is that feeling when your mother loves you, or whether its Mukti who is always ready to support me in every situations, whether that means to stand against her bhai too. She is like a small sister to me or whether it is You who always take a good care of me sometimes you scold me nah but kbhi kbhi aapke gusse mai bhi pyar dikhta h Manik because we scold those whom we love, haina?" Nandani asked cutely tilting his neck to look towards Manik who was adoring her cute face.

"I would only say that Alya had no place in my heart ever, it was only you from the starting" confessed Manik.

"Now toh you would say like this" said Nandani chuckling. "But Manik I am really thankful to Aiyappa that he make me part of such a cute family!" said Nandani.

"Nandani k Aiyappa say her that we are more thankful to you that you make Nandani a part of this family." said Manik making her smile again.

"But Nandani should I ask something, if you would not feel embarrass?" asked Manik as he crawled down on his side of the bed.

"Say na Manik, why are you asking even and why would I be embarrassed" said Nandani while laying her legs straight on the bed.

"Do you have seen your parents or?" Manik asked keeping in mind that she would not be hurt by his this question.

As soon as Nandani hear that question her smiley face got into a dulled one. Manik was looking at her face only to notice what is going inside her mind. Seeing her face dulled, he take her one hand in between his both hands and kissed it gaining her attention. Nandani looked towards him while he said "it's okay if you don't want to share it now! But please I love the smile of my wife, bring that back again!"

Nandani didn't smiled but moves close towards Manik and hold his arm with his one hand and lay down her head on his shoulders. "You know Manik there are few memories which whenever we look back on it makes you sad. Same is the case with Amma Appa's memories."

Manik liked the way Nandani hold her arm with her small tiny hands and kept her head on his shoulders. It makes him feel good. "Acha then leave it! I don't want to know anything which makes you recalls such memories as I don't want to see you sad. I want you to have a smile on your face" said Manik still holding her hand in between his hand and he kept his head on above her head.

"But I want to share it with you!" said Nandani making Manik surprised.

"I was 10 years old Manik at that time when that dreadful day knocked our door. Amma Appa were going to attend a marriage that day. I also wanted to go with them but as I was having my exam next day Appa had refused strictly. I was so stubborn at that moment to go with them but they both didn't listen to me. While they were leaving Appa said that we would go for a movie on the coming Sunday but I was so angry on them that I didn't replied to him and looked at the other side showing them that I am not gonna talk to both of them. Appa smiled seeing me and kissed me on my hairs saying I love you but I glared him and said that Appa! I would not talk to you ever again. Appa smiled hearing that and soon they both left."

"But I didn't knew at that time that really I would not be able to talk to my Appa again! I should not have uttered those words to him Manik. I should not have been angry on them. Amma Appa told me that they are going for a day only but that day they leave me for ever. They never come back again! Then that telephone rings and I got to know from Chachi that Amma Appa had a accident and they are badly injured."

Flashback scene

Nandani's POV

As soon as I heard that news my smile dropped and I frowned thinking that Chachi is joking.

"Chachi please don't do these types of jokes, Amma Appa had gone few minutes earlier only how could it be possible they had a accident! It's a lie" I said .

"I am not joking Nandani!" said Chachi and when I saw her expressions I got to knew she is not joking.

Tears immediately sprung to my eyes as my chest tightened. "Wha..t? How are they? Are they going to be okay?" I asked.

"I don't know! I am going hospital, you can come along too who knows you would be meeting them last time" Chachi said making tears run down on my cheeks.

"Please don't say like this Chachi. They would be fine soon" I said trying to keep myself positive.

Chachi rolled her eyes and without saying anything further she turned around to go. I too followed her without a second hesitation stepping into the cold rain. We booked a cab in order to reach hospital fast. My hands shook from nerves and I was silently praying to my Aiyappa for my parents to be okay.

~~But it seems that day Aiyappa also was not able to do any miracle. He didn't listen my prayers that day. ~~

I was keeping myself positive all the way to the hospital. In few minutes, we were in front of the hospital. I run down and entered the hospital while Chachi was paying the driver. "Mr & Mrs Murthy?" I asked to the reception trying to control my tears but I was unable to control them.

She looked towards me with a sorrowful expression on her face. "Are you his daughter?" asked the receptionist. I nodded my head vigorously and she looked at me with pity in her eyes for a moment and then called the nurse and told her something which was not audible to me.

Nurse nodded her head and looked towards me and said "Follow me!"

She was walking down the hospital hall and I was running behind her to match her speed praying all the way to keep my parents safe hoping that Aiyappa would do everything good. My heart was pounding so fast that it seems that it would come out from my chest. Tears were running all the way along while I was wiping it away with my tiny hands.

We stopped outside a room with a white door. I assumed that my parents are inside this room. I was going inside the room when the nurse held me back.

"You can not go inside!" said the nurse.

"I can go they are my parents, I want to see them!" I screamed crying. Seeing me crying the nurse eyes softened and she shook her head. "She is in critical condition right now, no one can go inside! Doctors are operating her."

"She?" I repeated my eyes going wide "Where is my Appa then? Does that mean that he is okay?"

The nurse face fell down as soon as I asked those question. "Your father.... We can't do anything... He"

"No... No No Aiyappa!!! please I don't want to hear those words. I want to talk to my Appa, I would never be stubborn again. I would listen whatever he would say but please make him okay" I thought while I fist my both hands tightly praying to my Aiyappa.

But that day it seems Aiyappa was very busy as he didn't listen any of my prayers.
