Next morning Manik was the first one who woke up first. Actually he was not able to sleep whole night thinking what Nandani's answer would be. He saw Nandani sleeping peacefully with a serene smile on her face. Seeing her, he smiled and then an idea popped up in his mind. He slowly and carefully get up from the bed taking care that Nandani's sleep did not get disturbed.

Nandani woke up after an hour and saw herself on the bed. She recalled the last night conversation with Manik and said "Aiyappa! that means that was not a dream. It was all reality. Manik really wanted to give this a chance." Smilingly she get up from the bed and take her clothes to get fresh.

Nandani had not seen Manik this morning and while getting ready she was thinking "Manik kha gye, itni jldi toh uthte nhi h voo. May be he would be with Mom". After getting ready properly she thought to make tea for everyone but seeing Abhimanyu standing on the kitchen door peeping inside the kitchen confused her.

"Abhi" Nandani said putting her hand on his shoulder. To which Abhi at an instant turned towards Nandani and said "Sshhhh" pointing a finger on his lips. Nandani asked him in a merely whisper "what?"

Abhimanyu pointed his finger towards something. Nandani peep in to see what is entertaining Abhi early morning. She saw Manik in a chef coat looking at his mobile and then doing something.  It seems like he is following some guidelines from his mobile and then tying to execute the experiment.

Seeing Manik like this, Nandani could not stop herself and went inside the kitchen trying to see what he is doing actually. Abhimanyu tried to stop her but Nandani didn't listen. "Manik?" said Nandani making Manik shock for s second. He at once turned towards her and smiled nervously. 

"Kya kr rhe h aap?" asked Nandani looking towards a white liquid mixture. "You like aloo k parathe na in the breakfast, so I thought to make it by taking the help of the Youtube video but yha shyad sab ulta pulta ho gya. I am not able to make a dough " said Manik looking at that dough which was actually looking like a mixture.

But knowing that Manik was putting his efforts to prepare breakfast, Nandani was so overwhelmed by this sweet gesture. "Koi nah Manik! aap jaiye mai bna deti hu" said Nandani..

"Kya Nandu tu bhi nah, you just disturbed him." said Abhimanyu chuckling. While Manik got embarrassed that he was not successful in his mission of making Aloo k parathe on his own.

"Vese Manik itne efforts phle kr lete toh you would not have been friend zoned" said Abhimanyu in a full sarcasm tone. Nandani at once looked towards Abhimanyu and Manik who were constantly giving looks to each other. Anyone could say seeing their face that a cold-war is going on between them.

"Abhi please don't start it again" requested Nandani to Abhimanyu.

"But I was stating a fact na Nandu." said Abhimanyu not getting ready to stop this cold-war.

"How many times I have to tell you that fact is she is my wife and you are a friend" said Manik glaring Abhimanyu. "Aiyoo Aiyappa! not again" thought Nandani looking towards both of them getting nervous how to stop both of them.

"Abhi!" Nandani warned him. "Okay okay I am going! You take your husband side only, friend ki toh value hi nhi kisi ko aaj ki life mai" said Abhimanyu seeing Nandani getting pissed up. He left from there. 

"Manik you can't be angry, leave him. Concentrate on Nandani bss!" Manik thought composing himself.

"Manik aap bhi jaiye ab. I would prepare the breakfast." said Nandani turning towards stove.

"Nandani voo can I help you too in this please?" asked Manik. "But Manik" Nandani tried to refuse but Manik cut her saying "please". Seeing Manik pleading to her she was not able to say No to him she just nodded her head. However the fact was Manik was no help to her, he only increased her work. But today she actually liked his company. He was looking all cute trying to do all stuffs which he had not done ever in order to help her.

"Ohhoo today Bhai is also helping in breakfast. Bhabhi you have turned bhai totally Majnu types like the way you want!" Mukti teased them as soon as she entered the kitchen.

"Aa gyi bhai bhabhi ki jaan khaane" murmured Manik getting irritated. 

"Aww bhai aapke liye nhi aayi thi mai yha. I toh love my bhabhi more! Aap jaiye mai help kr dungi bhabhi ki ab" said Mukti. Manik dismissed from their knowing that if he would not go Mukti would only tease them.

Scene: At breakfast table

"Nandani meet me in room" said Manik slowly in Nandani's ear while he was done with his breakfast making her shiver on her place. Abhimanyu and Mukti were busy talking to each other so this get unnoticed by them.

After few minutes Nandani entered in his room fidgeting her fingers knowing very well what Manik wants to talk about. Manik at once close the door as soon as she entered and coming straight to the point he asked "So Nandani, what is your answer?"

"Answer, kaisa answer Manik?" said Nandani innocently trying to act smart .

"Have you forget our last night conversations? And here I could not sleep whole night thinking what would you reply" said Manik very cutely making a face.

"Manik I was feeling sleepy na tab toh mujhe yaad nhi ab, kya bol rhe the aap vese?" Nandani said smilingly. But her smile didn't get unnoticed by Manik. "Oh so you are trying to play with me Mrs Malhotra" thought Manik..

"Ohh achaa!" said Manik. "Mai yaad dilwa deta hu fir" said Manik taking a step towards her. Nandani looks towards Manik and saw a naughty smile on his face.

"Aiyoo Aiyappa! Did he get to know kya?" thought Nandani taking a step backwards.

"Manik hum na bad mai bat krte h. Maa ko medicine deni h" said Nandani and tried to excuse from their.

But before she could open the door Manik hold the corner of her pallu making her widening her eyes. "Mom ko medicine tumne thodi der phle hi di h. Make some another excuse." said Manik pulling her one step slowly towards himself..

"Manik leave nah" Nandani pleaded. "Answer first?" said Manik pulling her one more step close towards her.

"Aise answer nhi maangte" said Nandani scrunching her nose cutely. "You have called this for Mrs Nandani Manik Malhotra" said Manik and pulled her towards himself such that now she was standing face to face close towards him.

"What if I say No?" asked Nandani.. "Then I know how to convert No into Yes. Vese I know your answer now but I want to hear it from you" said Manik with a smirk holding her waist from both the hands.

Nandani looked downwards smilingly and said "aur agr mai bolu mujhe abhi thoda time chahiye fir."

"Not at all! I am not gonna give you any time. I have wasted a lot of time that's why you have friend zoned me and that Abhimanyu" Manik was saying when Nandani cut her and said "Manik Abhi just teases you."

"Leave that Abhi topic! So we are starting fresh, right?" asked Manik to which Nandani nodded her head. "Then let's go and tell mom that I am not your friend, I am your husband not that Abhimanyu." said Manik. 

"Manik abhi nhi ek bar Maa thik ho jaaye, then we would tell her all the truth, please not now." said Nandani.. Manik looked towards her and said "okay but". 

"But?" asked Nandani. Manik moved towards her cheek to kiss her when all at a sudden Nandani pushed him. 

"What we are couples na ab?" asked Manik not liking the fact that she had not let him kiss her.

"But we are just starting nah Manik aur starting mai ye sab nhi hota" said Nandani moving backwards. 

"Nandani that's not done yrr. You don't know couples k beech mai sab kuch hota h from the very starting, Come here" said Manik taking a step towards her.

"Nhi hota." said Nandani and take a pillow from the bed to throw it on his face. "Nandani! you are gone now" said Manik glaring her but before Manik could catch her this time she was fast enough to open the door and get free from that cage.

"Mai bhi dekhu kab tak you would run away from me" said Manik.

Right now I am very much blocked with many things. I know that this chapter is not at all up to the mark. Need your help, please suggest what do you want to see next. So that I could start penning down next part.
