"Is there really no connection between me and Nandani. If I gets angry on her then that means there are no feelings between us. How can Mom say like that? I don't know about Nandani but I do off course have feelings for her since a long time. She is my first and only crush, how can I not have a feeling for her? I would have to do something so that I can know about what Nandani feels for me. Do she also feels for me the same way or not?" thought Manik while pacing around in his room.

Manik was looking for Nandani so as to make sure that Nandani is not alone with Abhimanyu as he does not wanted Nandani to spend time with Abhimanyu. Abhimanyu and Nandani were in the kitchen where Nandani was preparing lunch while Abhimanyu was just entertaining with his talks and making her laugh. 

Abhimanyu eyes fell on Manik and he saw him coming to that area. "So Abhimanyu let's play a small demo to see if Manik have some feelings for Nandani or not" thought Abhimanyu smirking. He moves close towards Nandani. While Nandani was unaware as she was busy in preparing lunch. "Wow Nandu mujhe bhi sikhao ye chalana" said Abhimanyu purposely and hold Nandani's hand while she was stirring the vegetables to cook.

At the same time Manik saw them and tightened his fist seeing Abhimanyu standing so close to Nandani as well as holding her hand. Without wasting a second he moves close towards Nandani. While anyone could register his move, holding Nandani's waist he brings her closer towards himself distancing her from Abhimanyu and hold Nandani's hand which Abhimanyu was holding few seconds earlier.

Nandani widened her eyes while Abhimanyu was astonished with this. "Manik??" Nandani asked in a question like what was this.

Manik at once tried to cover himself and said "Nothing I was just seeing what are you making". Nandani was not at all satisfied with his answer while Abhimanyu was hiding his smile knowing very well Manik's intentions.

"Manik I have to prepare lunch" said Nandani so that he removed his hand from her waist and leave her hand which he was holding. 

"Then prepare na, I am not stopping you" said Manik without moving an inch back.

"Aiyooo Aiyappa! How would I prepare lunch when you would hold me like this Manik?" said Nandani...

"I am not going to leave you. You have to decide you have to prepare the lunch or not." said Manik sternly like a kid who is holding his mother and not leaving her for a moment.

Having no other option Nandani started frying the vegetables in the same position. While Manik looked at Abhimanyu and smirked so as to show him that Nandani is mine. Don't you dare to come close to her. Abhimanyu didn't said anything but left from there so as to give them space saying "Nandu I would be back". Nandani looked at Abhimanyu and just nodded her head.

"Oooo possessiveness at peak and Nandu say he don't have feelings for her. Abhi bss itne mai hi ye reaction tha then kuch bada kruga tab kya hoga Manik k reaction. Surely, it would be fun to watch!" said Abhimanyu with a wide grin.

"Manik leave na, Abhi kya soch rha hoga aapko ho kya gya h" said Nandani trying to push Manik..

"Kya sochega voo? I am your husband na, I can hold you like this uss mai koi kya soch rha usse I don't care" said Manik with possessiveness..

"Aiyooo  Aiyappa!! Manik needs a doctor voo kb kya kr rhe h, ku kr rhe h. Kuch samaj nhi aa rha. Aisa lg rha jese Maa ki tabiyat khrab hone k asar inn pr pada h, Itna weird behave toh kbhi nhi kia Manik ne" thought Nandani... 

"Manik mujhe salt chahiye, leave me na." said Nandani after few minutes trying to come out from his grip..

"Toh take it but I am not going to leave you." said Manik intently. He was not in a mood to leave her. Nandani felt like crying and having no other option she tried to take the container having salt but it was kept on the top shelf. She tried to take it from her one hand  but was not successful. 

While having Nandani so close to him Manik felt like contented. He kept his chin on her neck and saw her getting irritated as she was not able to pick container which make him smile. He left her hand and picked her up from his both hand making Nandani scared. 

"Manik" Nandani trembled with fear and hold both of his hands which were on her waist..

"Le lo salt ab." said Manik smirking. Nandani immediately take the container and said "Neeche utariye mujje ab".

"I was just helping you out Nandani." said Manik chuckling making her stand on her feet.

"Help krni thi toh aap khud de dete. You didn't need to pull out this stunt." said Nandani making a face.

"Mai help aise hi krta hu" said Manik smirking and holding her again from her waist. 

"Nhi chahiye mujhe aapki help fir, aapko kuch chahiye toh bta dijiye I would give but you go and sit outside." ordered Nandani.

Before Manik could say anything Mukti made an entry "Bhabhi....*seeing them so close*  Wah kitchen mai bhi romance chal rha aap donno k." Mukti teased them. 

Manik at once leave Nandani and thought "Issi ki kami thi. Nandani k Aiyappa meri life mai toh villains bhi mere khud k gharwale hi h. Firstly Mom who have made that Abhimanyu Nandani's husband and secondly meri bhen Mukti jo ek chance nhi chodti bhaiya bhabhi k moments spoil krne k" said Manik getting irritated.

"How is your timing so pefect?" asked Manik sarcastically. To which Mukti laughed. Manik left from there with a faking smile.

Nandani served lunch to Manik when she was going to sit beside Manik. Abhimanyu at once blocked her and before she could sit Abhimanyu sit there . Nandani sits besides Abhimanyu while Manik tried to control himself not to say a word to Abhimanyu. He knew if he would blast on him once then he is not going to leave him at all and would make sure that he is going to left the house after that.

But it seems things were not working well. He was really getting pissed by Abhimanyu. From last 10 min,  Abhimanyu was chattering like how well he know about Nandani making Manik realize again and again that he do not know at all about Nandani. 

"You know bhabhi very well" Mukti remarked.

"Offcourse Nandani ko mujhse jyada ache se koi nhi jaanta." said Abhimanyu giving a look towards Manik as if challenging him.

Manik saw him and he could see Abhimanyu challenging him. "Might be that would have been before. But now I know Nandani better." said Manik.. While Nandani gave a look to Manik and thought "Aiyappa why he is saying like that? He also knows that he does not know me well."

"Acha then tell me what does Nandu love in breakfast?" asked Abhimanyu..

"Abhi stop na..." Nandani tried to stop Abhimanyu. 

But Mukti said "Ruko na bhabhi let's see bhai kitna ache se jaante h aapko" said Mukti chuckling.

"Wah Mom k saath saath ab Mukti bhi iss Abhimanyu ki side ho gyi h. Meri khud ki family hi mere saath nhi h.. Koi nah Manik iss  Abhimanyu ko dekh lenge pr Nandani ko breakfast mai kya pasand h, she would not like oily food for sure. She would prefer something light." thought Manik..

Abhimanyu looked at Manik for an answer. Seeing this Manik said confidently "this is very easy, she loves to eat bread butter in breakfast."

Abhimanyu chuckled and said "you are wrong Manik, she prefers aloo k parathe." 

Manik got little bit upset. It's sad to know that he don't have an idea about his wife's likes and dislikes. But Nandani came to his rescue and said "Abhi stop na! How would he know these tiny things about me we have an arranged marriage na".

Manik felt somewhere happy that Nandani is taking his side and not that Abhi's side.. "Toh kya hua he is your husband na, he should know this much about you at least. These tiny things matters a lot. Might be that could be the reason why a husband is friendzoned and a friend is playing the role of husband now." said Abhimanyu. Now Abhimanyu had  shot the arrow on the target.
