"What promise?!" She looked at me like a small child would look like. So innocent so small. I smiled and closed my eyes, took a breath and opened it. "That I won't leave you all alone. That I'll find the culprit. With you or without you. That I'll be by your side." Her eyes got wide and suddenly she pushed me away. "No! No! No! You won't! Just get lost! Got it!" I was as much determined as her and so I keep denied and after minutes she just looked at me. "I don't have any changes. Am I Right?" I nodded and with seconds I hold her hand and helped her up. "Ms Ragini Gadodia, this game will be mine. So the winner was obviously me." She nodded in disbelief, relieved her hand from my wrist and went straight away from me. I stood there and took a breath didn't know how to console her and ran behind her.
"Ragini?" "It's Ms Ragini Gadodia.... Ms Gadodia. Nothing else." "Okay Ms Gadodia. Can you please understand me?" She looked up from her cup and was angry. "Why not?! You're a damn unbelievable stur person I've ever met!" I laughed and looked at her. "Are you serious? You're the most stur person I've her met." She opened her moth and looked at me like this, closed her mouth and stood up. She came to me, that was something really new, and pushed me to the wall. "So Mr Laksh Maheshwari. I'll tell you something. You'll listen to me okay?" She smiled sarcastically. "Okay..." "So I don't know why but I swear you're doing something with me. I just want to live my life as I always. It's. My. Fucking." "Wooow...wow..." I turned her around that she was stuck between me and the wall. "First we will not say theses kind of words. Secondly I won't listen to you. Okay accepted. Very good." I looked at her and went few steps back. "The conference is over." She looked at me, nodded her head in disbelief and went away.
"I know you're hating me but this is the best. I can't leave you alone. A promise is a promise. Please understand em Ragini." I looked at the Ganesha statue and prayed to him.
"I ordered today." "You did what?!" "I ordered pizzas for us." She gave her a right slap on her forehead. "Like literally I won't..." "Man stop it... don't tell me that you have never eaten a pizza!?" She looked at me. "Of course I had but not anymore. Many years back I stopped eating it." I was a little bit stunned. "Why?" "None of your business." She stood up, looked the last time at me and went the stairs up.
"Thanks man." I gave the pizza deliver the money, took the very good smelling pizza in my hand and went to the living room where I sat down. "Ms Ragini!" I looked from the tv up to the stairs. Nothing. "Ragini?" I put the TV off and waited for another minute till I heard something falling down. Without thinking I stood up, went the stairs up and knocked on her door saying her name. No response. "Ragini? I'll open the door now." I nodded in disbelief and opened the door quickly and saw her at the edge of the room, sitting there and trying to calm her down. I ran to her and touched her cheek. She was burning.
"LEAVE ME!" She pushed me and looked all around. Something very new that I got to learn about her. "Calm down. It's me Laksh." She looked at me and started sobbing. "I saw him..." "Whom?" "Him! He's right here!" "Where? What are you talking?" I pulled her to me and made her to look at me as she was to afraid of something. "Here look at me." She looked at me and hold my hand quickly. She stopped sobbing, looked into my eyes, her look cold as ice and her eyes were bloodshot red.
"He destroyed everything..."  "Ragini whatever it was this wasn't the reality." "It was! It happened years back." I looked at her and was confused about what she was talking.
"Hell to him!" Slowly her yes started making circles. Her head was on my chest and a calm Ragini was in front of me. Without thinking I pulled her to me and carried her to her bed and laid her down. I sat beside her and touched her head. All the time till she was completely asleep.
I was back in my room and was stunned about everything. Why was her behaviour like that? What happened to her? Whom did she mean? Why was she reacting like this?
I had do my questions but no answers! I had to find out about her and her past so that I could help her.

"Good Morning." I looked up and saw her coming down the stairs. She sat down and started eating. I saw a very simple woman in front of me. Her dark circles around her eyes were saying it all. She had very less sleep.
"Are you feeling okay?" She looked up,waited few seconds and nodded. "Sure?" "Yeah." I nodded and continued eating. I knew that she lied to me. I waited few minutes and stood up. "Ms Gadodia?" "Yes?" "What do you want to do for the second ramp walk?" She looked at me and was sure about that what she wanted to say. "Security." I nodded. "I'll organise it." She nodded. "I don't want to happen to all of us... Especially you." I looked at her and nodded quietly. "I want to be everyone safe there. Please Mr Laksh Maheshwari choose a good team and don't mention my name. It must go under your name." "Of course I'll take care of it. You just move on with the other work." We looked at each other and smiled quietly in this rainy morning where just knew that we wanted to save each other.
